The Family Hospital

Ferdad held his bandaged chest. She was grateful that the woman's shot did not end in her heart. He's more worried about Frizki and Gunawan getting a stab. The man came out of the room where he was treated and went outside to see Frizki and Gunawan.

The sisters were fascinated to see Ferdad bare-chested. The doctor came out of the room where Gunawan and Ferdad were given treatment.

"Doctor, are they okay?" Ask Ferdad worriedly.

"I've tried my best, but one of them...."

"No! Don't say that." Ferdad firmly grasped the front of the Doctor's shirt.

"I'm sorry, sir."

After getting reports that Ferdad and his two colleagues had failed to capture their two fugitives and that one of them, Frizki, had been killed, Septiawan was furious. He had not expected Ferdad to be caught off guard and be defeated by the two thugs.

"Three of you and managed to fool the two criminals? One of them is a girl. Aren't you ashamed, Ferdad?" Septiawan stared dejectedly at Ferdad.

While Ferdad only looked down to hear the nagging of his superiors.

"The three of you are used to catching gangsters. Their numbers were not even as many as the gangsters. Did your abilities and courage disappear after seeing their appearance?"

"Frizki died, sir. I couldn't focus on seeing my comrades get hurt like back then. I can't let them die" said Ferdad.

"You have to focus on the mission. If you don't focus on the mission, then you'll end up just like Frizki! That's our job. Every day risking their lives. In the end we will die. You must continue the mission even if your comrades are all killed!" Bentak Septiawan's.

"I can't see Frizki dying, sir." It seems Ferdad is getting angry.

"And still he's dead, right?!" Septiawan slapped Ferdad in the face. "This is your mission, Ferdad. Your comrades are pawns to achieve your goals."

Ferdad did not think Septiawan would say that. With these words, Ferdad came to know that Septiawan was a very selfish person and was more concerned with mission than the safety of his members.

"What am I going to tell my boss" murmured Septiawan as he turned his back to Ferdad.

Ferdad glanced at Septiawan who was behind him. As the middle-aged man turned his head back to him, Ferdad immediately turned his eyes away.

"Do something to the woman so she can give a new clue. Don't just rely on our people" Septiawan said, leaving Ferdad in his room.

"Aarrgghh!" Ferdad hit his desk.

After that, he went to see Gunawan's state in the hospital. Ferdad looked at Gunawan who seemed to have somewhat recovered.

"I don't think Mr. Ferdad remembers me" Gunawan said with a small smile.

"All four of you talk like that, even though your condition is still not good," said Ferdad while sitting on the side of Gunawan's bed.

"I feel sad because I can't attend Frizki's funeral" Gunawan said.

"You don't have to feel sad. I've extended your condolences to Frizki's family" Ferdad said.

"Then thank you."

Ferdad nodded. "I'm sorry. It's all because I'm not responsible for your safety."

"No, no, don't be. It's my fault for being careless when facing them," Gunawan argued with a sad expression.

Ferdad breathed heavily.

"Senior, can I ask for your help?" Gunawan clasped Ferdad's hand.

Seeing his hand held like that by Gunawan, Ferdad pulled his hand, but Gunawan tightened his grip.

"Solicit what please?" Ask Ferdad.

"My boyfriend must be waiting for me. He loved the dragon fruit. Can you buy it?" Gunawan showed a pleading expression.

"Emmm. yes."

"Please deliver, yeah."

Again Ferdad heaved a heavy sigh.
