THE POLICE VS ASSASSIN

"Everyone, we're retreating," with a heavy heart, Ferdad ordered the police to surrender. He gave the code to his team to get out of the building immediately. They followed Ferdad.

"Sir, we can't back down! They're holding Gunawan hostage! Besides, if we step down, Mr. Ferdad will be demoted!" Arghi said through a communication tool.

"Sir, we can't trust them" Bayu added.

"Tell me back, I can't see my comrades dying in vain like they used to! I don't care if I get fired! Get outside! It's orders!"

The police also had to retreat. Arghi and Andy find Ferdad at the police station.

Arghi found Bayu. "Where's Mr Ferdad?"

"I'm looking for him, too" replied Bayu.

"Where's Mr Ferdad?" Marla approached them.

"We don't know" replied Bayu.

Arghi and Andy looked at each other. Bayu approaches a cop who happens to be on a team with Ferdad. "Where's Mr Ferdad?"

"Pak Ferdad told us to come out first. Now Mr. Ferdad is looking for Senior Gunawan."

"Damn," Arghi swore angrily. He runs into the building followed by Bayu and Andy.

"Don't follow me!" Gerutu Arghi while glaring annoyed at the two juniors.

Andy and Andy stopped. When Arghi ran back in, the two policemen followed him again.

Suddenly a series of explosions occurred and destroyed most of the buildings. Arghi could not enter, as the door to the building was covered by building debris.

Suddenly a jet shot up from the building that was exploding. All the police were shocked to see him. The jet stayed away leaving the abandoned building.

There was a silhouette emerging from the steaming smoke. Gunawan and Ferdad. Arghi, Bayu, and Andy approach him.

"You guys okay?" Arghi helps Ferdad carry Gunawan.

In the car, Marla gives Gunawan a hand. "I'm grateful you're okay, Gunawan."

"Sir Septiawan told us to withdraw from this mission" Ferdad said seriously.

"What's? Why suddenly? Didn't we almost catch them?" Ask Andy.

"Don't you see that jet that flew? They've escaped" grumbled Arghi.

"No, Mr. Septiawan took over this mission himself. He's the one who's going to the field. Honestly this is a bit strange," said Ferdad.

"What's he's having trouble?" Marla Mumbles.

"It's good that he intervened. He'll know what it's like to go after an international fugitive. Don't just sit and rule" Arghi said.

Ferdad pinned Arghi's head. "That was his job. Sit down and rule."

Gunawan looked at Ferdad. "Will Mr Ferdad's position be shifted?"

"I don't know" replied Ferdad.

After the drama in the 'battlefield', the police returned to the office on Septiawan's orders.

The next day, Gunawan went to see Septiawan in his office.

"You said you managed to trace their whereabouts," said Septiawan staring in disbelief at Gunawan.

Gunawan gave an earring to Septiawan. "You can track it."

Septiawan took the earring. "You want to shift Ferdad's position?"

"Yes, Sir. He's an incompetent superior. I think I deserve better" replied Gunawan.

Septiawan. "I like your spirit."

What the hell's going on?

While in the abandoned building, Gunawan contacted Septiawan and said that he managed to install tracking devices on both of Nevra's earrings and one of them was on him.

Because of this, Septiawan ordered Ferdad and his unit to retreat. He felt that it was a good opportunity where he could catch those international criminals and his position rose.

Gunawan asked Septiawan for a reward, namely the position of Ferdad.
