Chapter 10 - The City of Ding Yang

It took three hours to get to Ding Yang city, the destination of Xiao and Chan. Both of them went hand in hand. They set their feet towards the place to eat, because of hunger that was already unbearable.

After a long tour, Xiao and Chan arrived at the restaurant that caught their attention. Without thinking for a long time, the two of them immediately sat down at the still-empty dining table.

"Xiao, just order wonton noodles yes, we can't be wasteful!" chan said with a serious face.

"But I'm hungry, I need more food!" Xiao rolled his eyeballs.

"Diddeliver! people's money, people's homes too!" gerutu Chan stared intently at the man sitting before him.

"Okay, what do you want to pay me? a kiss?" xiao said as he brought his face closer to Chan. It made both the cheeks of the girl immediately flushed. Chan's pupils dilated, as it stared at Xiao's natural pink lips.

"Hmm.. It looks like you're-interested!" continued Xiao, who was getting closer to his face.

"Xi-xi-xiao.. stop! I wouldn't be tempted by that!" Chan pushed forcefully Xiao's face. His forehead looked cringing. He tried to hide his nervousness.

"When your eyes were looking at my lips, right? haha!" goda Xiao muckily irritated him.

"Mas! order two wonton noodles!" Chan deliberately diverted the conversation, ordering food to the waiter.

"Hedeh! turns out you-worry too!" Xiao put all his attention on Chan.

"Good fun." greeted the friendly waiter while putting two servings of wonton noodles on Xiao and Chan's table.

"Well..so good!" peekkik Chan slowly, who was stunned by the aroma and look of wonton noodles. While Xiao had already sipped his noodles without saying much.

"Xiao, you seem to be used to seeing supernatural beings?" chan asked as he slowly swallowed his noodles through his throat.

"Maybe I haven't seen a creepy creature lately, so it's normal. After all they also act indifferent," Xiao said as he turned his chopsticks to hook more noodles.

"Yes, they'll act indifferent, if they don't know you can see. There's one behind you!" chan said casually, staring towards the back of Xiao.

As a result, Xiao also turned his face back. Sure enough, there was a bloodied male ghost standing staring at one of the servants.

"Looks like the waiter's his wife." guess Chan.

"Ah already! do not interfere!. Our lives are complicated, even want to enter the life of people who are also messy, troublesome!" chirped Xiao, without the slightest feeling of pity.

"Based on a psychopathic child!" Chan gritted his teeth.

"Whatever! that was indeed the reality!. To be honest, I had the dream to kill a thousand humans!" Xiao crossed his hands across his chest arrogantly.

"Well, I'm joking." said Xiao with a flat expression.

"If one day you suddenly attack me. Then when I become a ghost, this self will not hesitate to kill you more cruelly!" infuriated Chan with a threatening look.

"Haha! if not a ghost, how about dong?" reply Xiao indifferently.

"Eat the ghost!" Xiao stuffed the dumplings into Chan's mouth abruptly. The pitch-black haired girl instantly fell silent into a thousand languages.

"Oh! speaking of the mission you were talking about the other day." said Xiao who immediately turned his expression serious.

"What?.. have you decided?" chan asked curiously as he chewed on the dumplings Xiao had thrust at him.

"I decided to join the group, after all I was having no other purpose than to go there!" Xiao lowered his head.

"I've guessed from the beginning, you-will agree!" Chan carved a smile on his face.

"But there's something we have to do before that" Chan said.

"What?"

"Money! we need a fee to go to the island!"

"Regarding money, I have an idea! but.. His idea is quite extreme!"

Chan snorted loudly and asked, "What idea?"

"We have to go to school again!" said Xiao with a grin, which immediately made Chan look at him confused.

Xiao chose Ding Yang city as a destination not without reason. He knew very well himself and Chan had a stash of money that was constantly running low. So Xiao plans to go to school again to find a man named Shuwan Tao.

That's why from the beginning Xiao wanted to change the appearance of himself and Chan to make it easier to do the action. Now the two are in a slum salon in the city of Ding Yang.

A tall man hit his hand hard on the table. The look of his face was flushed, accompanied by stiffened neck veins. His eyes glared at the burly man who was bowing respectfully to him.

"Damn it! basic useless!.how can an adult man like you lose to two teenage children!!! what are you doing until you let your guard down! huh uh?!" the man now threw all the stuff on his desk. "Dialaaan!!!" the swearing kept filling his mouth.

"Sorry Mr. Hongli!. I was off guard because I saw a creepy woman suddenly appear from the front, a-a-I think i-i-it's a demon.." said the burly man, often called by the name Feng.

"What?... you idiot!!! we lost Xiao, because of your incompetence! you shucks!" hongli's strangling is rising.

"We promise to try to find Xiao as best as Mr. Hongli can!" Feng tried to return to the courage to speak. The head of one of the ganster was seen grimacing, because it was still enduring the pain all over his body, due to the accident that had befallen him.

Hongli was seen shaking his head with his sour face and said, "I'll give you three days, otherwise I'll chop your body into pieces. Then give it to your wife and daughter!"
