Chapter 27 - Meet Brian

Xiao threw down the door, his vision immediately greeted with a man who carved a grin. It was Brian, who had a tall stature and was white, clearly that he was not part of the local population. The man stared intently at Xiao, and slowly approached.

"Tell me where's Jonas?" Brian clutched the collar of Xiao's shirt.

"Aren't you a psychic? when you still don't know how he is?" said Xiao who did not feel any faintness. Brian who heard it further strengthened his grip while gritting his teeth.

"Stop Brian!" reprimand a girl who slowly emerged from behind the darkness of the house.

"I can't wait to kill him!" Brian is still in his position.

"Stop!" the mysterious girl tries to force Brian to let go of his grip. "We still don't know the truth!" continued again. Slowly Brian relented, and removed Xiao's collar.

"Now you can explain how Jonas is!" a girl named Adella, but more often called Al.

"He's dead!" xiao answered briefly, looking at Brian and Al in turn. Again Brian tried to hit, but Xiao swiftly resisted the blow that almost hit his face.

"I didn't kill him! I don't even know why he was killed!" light Xiao who threw out Brian's hand forcefully.

"My gut clearly said that you were involved in his death! whim!" timpal Brian, who ended with the end, seemed to feel disgusted at the man who was standing in front of him.

"Prove that you're not involved!" said Al who looked at Xiao seriously.

"I know Viera, the ghost who's always with Jonas!" xiao said as he looked towards Viera who was standing not so far away. Brian who heard then immediately wiped the look of his pouting face.

"Can you see it?" ask Al who does not believe.

"He was the one who brought me into such great trouble that my life was ruined!" Xiao frowned. He begins to remember the bad events he has been going through since Jonas bequeathed his talents.

"Jonas. . . chose you?" Brian stared intently at Xiao, but with a questionable expression.

"That means your gut feeling is Brian, maybe Jonas is dead. But his aura and talent have moved into his body, so you insist on thinking he's alive" said Al.

"Is everything clear?" Xiao let out a loud voice. "Then it's my turn now, if you're psychic. I need your help!" continue Xiao. Brian and Al contact focus their attention on Xiao.

"Said Viera, you guys purposely locked her up here. Now remove the barrier that is blocking it!" tell Xiao while pointing towards the window, right where Viera is.

"Calm down first, you better sit down. Even we still don't know your name" Al said. Xiao turned his eyes off guard, he did not want to delay the time any more.

"I don't have time! I must save my friend who is now trapped in another dimension!" bright Xiao who was still unable to calm down.

"I want to apologize before, but you better sit down first. We promise to help as much as we can." Brian tried to embrace Xiao's shoulder, but immediately got a pat.

"I can sit by myself!" Xiao floated his buttocks to the sofa that was nearby. "Now explain, how do you help me?" continued.

"Other dimensions? do you have a devil next to you like Jonas?" asked Brian while holding his chin.

"Devils? Jonas has it?" Xiao turned around asking with a frowning forehead.

"So you don't know your talent yet? did Viera not tell you?" said Al looking at Xiao seriously.

Xiao shook his head, and immediately cast a glance towards Viera. "No! he just said that Jonas bequeathed his talent to me. He also forbade me from committing murder!" clearly Xiao who was in contact made Brian laugh amusedly.

"You fooled an ex-devil! ahaha!" brian said with his laugh.

"Devils? you mean Viera?" Xiao felt disbelief.

"Yes, Viera is the devil that Jonas conquered. Because he has a special weapon to kill devils!" Brian carved a grin on his face.

"Weapons?"

"That's why I kept looking for Jonas, because only he was destined to be able to use the weapon. But our itinerary is dashed when Jonas accidentally deals with a big mobster. He should never have known those assholes!" Brian shook his head. "Jonas hid his weapon in a safe place before he was captured by the mafia!" added again.

Xiao leaned his body onto the chair. He was still trying to digest well what he had heard. But the number one thought remains Chan.

"Whatever it is, you can explain later. Now the most important thing is tell me how to go to another dimension!" said Xiao.

"Hello brother! I told you how earlier!" brian with a high note.

"Really! he's been telling you since." Al followed.

"What?" Xiao wondered.

"By the way, what's your name, handsome boy?" brian asked, looking at his feet.

"Xiao!"

"My name-"

"I already know, through a paper leaflet given by the laundry woman!" Xiao showed him a piece of paper that had brought him to where he was now.

"Do now! I'm afraid my friend is wretched!" Xiao urged again.

"Hey! why ask us, but ask Viera. He probably knows where the gun Jonas is hiding!" brian is relaxed.

"Weapons? what's with that thing I can go into another dimension?" Xiao looked at Brian seriously.

"Yes Xiao! it helps you to enter another dimension. Honestly speaking, there is no psychic in this world who can take you to another world. Just look all over the country!" brian said with a tone of conviction.

"That's why we locked Viera up, because we needed information from her. But he just kept refusing to communicate with us!" lang Al while folding his hands in front of his chest.

"Yes, I'll try to talk to him!" sahut Xiao who had risen from the seat.

"Before that, you better take a shower first. You're handsome, but you stink!" sindir Brian flicked his hand in front of his nose. Sure enough, Xiao had not had time to take a bath since staying at the inn with Chan.

"Brian is right, after all, a shower won't take up too much of your time." Al agreed with the statement made by his traveling companion.

Xiao who heard could only shake in disbelief. Then he finally asked where the bathroom was and immediately cleaned up.

Now Xiao was bare-chested and wearing only a towel on his waist. The man tried to dry his wet hair. Until Viera slowly appeared through the mirror in front of her.

"You finally showed up! explain everything to me!" Xiao stared intently at Viera.

"A-a-I was just scared of Xiao, I was scared. hiks. . hiks. . . hiks. . ." Viera's crying voice started to echo.

"Why?" Xiao was indifferent.

"Because Jonas always held me back. I'm afraid you'll become like her, especially after seeing yourself having psychopathic parents" Viera explained, bowing her head.

Xiao turned the eyeballs off guard, as it was not an explanation he wanted to hear. "Viera, you can explain everything later. Now just tell me where Jonas' gun is!" said Xiao with a frown.
