Season 2 New life begins: Hearts that hurt

Day by day passed. The relationship between Jenna and Julian is not getting better but it is getting colder.

Jenna is rarely in touch with Julian. Only Julian was the one who every day asked the news of his wife and child. Jenna hasn't returned to the Mansion yet. He still lives in the apartment.

That afternoon, Jenna accidentally came to the office and immediately met Julian in his study.

Julian was quite surprised when Jenna came to his office that afternoon.

"Jen," said Julian who immediately approached his wife and hugged Jenna's body tightly.

"Are you busy?" jenna asked in a flat tone of voice. When Julian was still holding her.

"No, I'm not busy. I just wanted to go outside for lunch. Can you please accompany me to lunch?" julian said to his wife, who at that time he still hugged.

"Alright" Jenna said.

Julian then faded his embrace and prepared to walk out of his study.

Holding Jenna's hand along the corridor. Julian invites Jenna to walk to his car in the parking lot.

Arriving at the parking lot Julian then opened the car door for Jenna and fitted a seat belt for her wife.

After that, Julian immediately rushed up to the steering wheel and drove his car towards the restaurant that wanted Julian seven back then.

Along the way to the restaurant Julian took Jenna to chat. Jenna just asked Julian the question.

Jenna came to the office that afternoon, actually, Jenna wanted to tell Julian something important. About his intention to resign from the office.

But because Julian invited him to lunch. Jenna also abandoned her intention to tell Julian. She chose to accompany her husband for lunch.

After a while, they arrived at their favorite restaurant. Usually in restaurants that is what they always approach if they want to have lunch together.

They arrived at the restaurant. Julian then invites Jenna to find a nice seat to enjoy their lunch at that time.

Jenna tells Julian to look for a dining room that has little privacy. Because Jenna wanted to talk to her husband about something important.

Julian complied with Jenna's request. After that they ordered food. They enjoyed lunch as usual.

As usual, Julian indulges Jenna with his service. Offering the food she had ordered Jenna to taste.

It's just that Jenna's still being cold towards Julian.

After they finished enjoying their lunch. Jenna then prepares to tell Julian what she's about to say.

"Julian, I want to have a serious talk with you" Jenna said softly.

"Speak what, don't make me tense baby. These few days your attitude is cold with me. Our relationship is okay, right?" julian said, looking at Jenna's face with a sense of big question marks. Julian also looked a little worried.

Julian felt Jenna was already cold with him.

"Okay, what do you think you're gonna say. I don't mind if you want to give me a treat, honey. Honestly, I'm really happy if you don't work and focus on keeping the kids at home. Didn't we get married in the first place I told you not to work. I'm glad to hear this news. So, when are you going back to the Mansion?" julian asked as she clasped Jenna's hand on the table.

"I don't know when I'm going back to the Mansion. My mom hasn't returned from London. I resign from your company, I give up all my positions."

"I'll take care of it."

"How did the meeting go at the top?"

"Everything went well." replied Julian lightly.

Julian then stood up from his chair. Then he walked towards Jenna. Julian then sat down right next to Jenna, who was sitting on a sofa in a restaurant display.

He put his hand around his wife's waist. Julian pulls Jenna's body possessively to stick more to her.

Then, Julian grabbed Jenna's chin to make her look at him. Sighing heavily, Julian kissed Jenna on the cheek and also kissed Jenna on the lips possessively for a while. Jenna just kept quiet, and resigned. But Jenna didn't return her husband's kiss.

"Why don't you return my kiss" Julian said. Jenna only speaks a thousand languages. There are thousands of words of anger that actually want jenna overflow. But somehow Jenna just held him off. It was her tears that were dripping down her cheeks.

"Honey, I don't think our current relationship can be said to be good. What's up, Jen, tell me. I don't like our cold relationship. I want us to be as warm as ever. What's up, tell me. Is there anything less clear. Does this still have anything to do with Vale?"

When Julian mentioned Valerie's name, Jenna then swiped her gaze at Julian's face with a sharp eye.

"There's something you're hiding from me, Julian. And you haven't been honest about it." Jenna said.

"What's the matter, baby?"

"Your relationship with Valerie" Jenna said in a choked voice.

Julian then took a long breath. He understands the fear of his wife. While still embracing Jenna's waist and by looking at Jenna's face with a close distance. Julian wants to reassure his wife that there is no special relationship between him and Vale.

"Jenna, between me and Vale there's no connection. My relationship with him is good. But it's only a good relationship because he's our co-worker and also because of Elenor's Vale Mommy."

"Then what about your heart. Didn't you always flatter her all this time. Always say Vale and Elenor are special people in your heart. Then, what does Louis and I mean in your heart? I've never even sensed you specifying me and Louis."

"Jen, that's not true" said Julian, who inexplicably said the word Jenna made her heart sliced.

"I know Julian, Vale and Elenor have been a part of your life, I know that. But you're making it a non-priority of me and Louis. It's not just about me being jealous of how you treated me and Louis and comparing how you treated Elle and Vale. It's about your assertiveness. I know you care for me and Louis, too. But I don't really see that you can take care of my heart and my feelings. It's not easy for me Julian. Resisting a feeling of suspicion that I might have been wrong. But you yourself have no attempt to be firm." Jenna explained with tears.

"I'm sorry if it makes you uncomfortable. But I've never distinguished and compared you to Valerie, Louis and Elenor" Julian said, wiping her tears with both hands.

"Louis and Elenor they're the same as I love Jen. I love them, you're my wife, Vale's just the past."

"That's how it is, then why do you keep Vidio and his picture."

And jenna's question leaves Julian at a loss as to what to answer.
