Advice from Mama

That night Julian returned to the Mansion with a slightly chaotic feeling.

*And after that, the second party (Valerie) no longer has the right to claim (baby) in any form to thwart custody by one party (Julian)*

That point is what now makes Vale a little creepy when reading it.
