TRM CHAPTER 48 - Emperor's Ghost
Arnette went to the palace on a horse and who would have thought that Agam could also use the animal.
"Over the last two months, I've been trying hard to prepare myself here" Agam said as he rode his horse. Although not really proficient but he can control the horse that Agam Riding.
"You prepared yourself well" commented Arnette. He also rode his horse.
They rushed to the palace where Emperor Erik was waiting for them.
Not only the emperor Erik but the two crown princes, William and Bastian were also in the Imperial hall.
Arnette's arrival is welcome but all attention is now on Agam walking behind the sword master.
"I'm facing, Your Majesty," Arnette knelt before the emperor while holding his chest.
While Agam just bent his body and helped Arnette to stand up.
For Agam, the old man who had never considered his flesh and blood to exist even made the child like a sword, was not worthy of respect.
"Currently, you came with your mistress, ", William quipped.
"It seems not to be a mistress but a gigolo who satisfies the captain in bed until he has an illegitimate child" Bastian added.
The words of the two people made Agam emotional, only a few seconds with them Agam had been made unable to hold back.
When Agam opened his mouth, Emperor Erik interrupted him first.
"You two, shut up!" emperor Erik snapped with a loud tone.
When things went quiet, Arnette did not believe that her father would yell at her two favorite children in public.
"I called you here to tell you something" Emperor Erik now spoke to Arnette regardless of Agam's whereabouts.
"Arnette Bavaria, you used to wear the last name of the royal family but never got the title of royal princess so from now on you will be the crown princess!"
"And your son will be a legitimate prince!"
Another with Agam who was getting more and more emotional heard him.
"Why is it now?" protest there.
"After everything that's happened, why now?"
"It's too late because Arnette doesn't need any of that!"
William and Bastian stood up, they appointed the guards to arrest Agam for acting presumptuously in front of the emperor.
"Capture her! How dare to speak harshly to the emperor!" shouting William.
"Back him in the dungeon!" added Bastian.
Although the two of them did not agree with his father's unilateral decision but they did not accept if anyone did anything rude to the emperor.
"Wait!" Emperor Erik instead held off the guards who were about to capture Agam. He was curious about that handsome young man who dared to be rude to him.
"Include yourself properly!"
To draw Arnette's hand close to her, she will teach Arnette to rebel so as not to submit to those who have not appreciated her all this time.
"I am the husband of Captain Arnette and the father of the son who will save your kingdom" said Agam.
"A... what?" Emperor Erik did not believe what he heard.
"We're married and I'm taking Captain Arnette away from here, haven't you ever considered my wife part of the royal family?" agam.
Arnette had just been silent because he had not expected Agam to dare to such an emperor.
"Therefore, I will give my wife the love and family she never got all this time" Agam said with excitement.
