TRM CHAPTER 62 - Farewell

Before reaching the palace, the Bavarians cheered for the arrival of Arnette and the knights.

The woman smiled as she watched the residents, maybe today was the last time Arnette would see them.

Releasing the great responsibility he had been carrying, was a tough decision for Arnette.

However, he would do anything for Theor.

"The knights have arrived, Your Majesty," one of the palace guards told the emperor Erik.

Previously the state of the palace was very gripping, some buildings were damaged because of the monsters that attacked.

Emperor Erik wanted to see firsthand how Theor looked like to be his own grandson.

"You will gain territory and raise it with your son" Emperor Erik told Arnette.

After the farewell was over, they spoke four eyes.

"I'm sorry but I refused it" Arnette replied. For the first time, he refused orders from the Emperor.

"Have I not refused a request all this time, Your Majesty? I always do whatever the order is so I can be acknowledged but it's not what I'm looking for..." Arnette looked at her father with teary eyes. "I just want to be loved!"

Arnette gave an unopened can of soda to Agam. "It's a sign of farewell so let me go!"

"Arnette..." Emperor Erik felt guilty. "I'm sorry, I promise to love you!"

"There is no need if Your Majesty wants to make amends let me go and..." Arnette asked for something she had wanted all along.

The woman wanted to get a hug from her biological father and called him father.

Emperor Eric granted Arnette's last wish.

While Agam waits for Arnette with princes William and Bastian.

They still don't respect them.

"It turns out you are quite capable of defending the palace" commented Agam.

"Do you still doubt our abilities?" they become angry.
