CHAPTER 37: FRIENDSHIP MISSION

Nindy's eyes piqued every detail of the report from her division through the computer screen that had been on since morning. Unlike the other division heads in the company, Nindy is known to be the most disciplined in work affairs. The clean-skinned woman with her clear chin line always came earlier when compared to other division heads, including Lukas, a member of The Five Hunters. No wonder if all the staff in his supervision often talk about it in the back because his arrival is always early makes his subordinates inevitably participate in discipline like him. Occasionally the woman hissed while kneeling her temple slowly because the reports from the staff who were handed to her suffered many incongruities.

“Still morning, Nin. Dizziness you look,” greet Ega while confirming the identification mark that drapes around his neck.

“Can be crazy me, Ga. I've asked for a revision of this report three times, but it's still wrong too,” grumbled.

“Sepusing it until you also missed some mistakes that are here,” said the brown-eyed woman while putting a blue folder that she brought from her room. Folder contains a monthly report that should be no more mistakes when it reaches the Ega table, in fact there are still some things that must be corrected so that Ega is forced to return it.

“There again? Oh God!” grunts her while shuffling her beautiful curly hair. Instantly he gulped down the mineral water he used to bring himself from home.

“The new employee really made my task double!” his protest sighed.

“Ah, which the other day you introduced me to it?”

“Hm,” answered while nodding small.

“Should I go down to your division to direct it? I have a little free time today if you don't mind me entering your division,” bargain Ega that makes Nindy immediately shook her head.

“Ah no, no. I can still handle it. You'll just intervene for the work stop, Okey?” nindy was convincing.  Ega nodded before finally hinting himself back into the room.

“Sst!” call someone after Ega re-enters his room. He examined where the short call came from and immediately Nindy snorted to find out who was now taking turns coming to him.

“Don't piss me off, Luke! Look at my crazy job!” nindy's grouse was almost depressed. The man chuckled.

“Still this morning, beautiful. Resist emotions,” seduce the man to his best friend.

“Don't tell me you're here just to have breakfast.”

“Aish, come. I am not as hungry as it is today,” concluded Lukas on the woman who had furrowed her eyebrows because of annoyance.

“Lantas what?” as usual. The man then conditions Nindy to get closer.

“I have friends. How about we find him on Ega?” the man whispered in Nindy's ear.

“What are you crazy about!” Nindy suddenly shouted, which then made Luke smother the woman's mouth to shrink her voice.

“You're crazy, huh?” nindy lirih. Luke now shifted an empty chair and sat close to Nindy.

“Honestly I don't have the heart to see the current Ega. Since his separation with Evan, he has become a non-talking and moody figure. You know, I feel like I lost the old Ega,” obviously that guy. Nindy sighed, staring at the tightly shut door of Ega's room.

“I feel that too. As a woman, I really know how the pain she feels,”.

“Maybe now it's time for him to open his heart again, Nin. He needs our support.”

The two friends were silent for a moment. Their eyes were equally fixed on the door of the closed room that was located a little far ahead of them.

“You till when, Nin? He was too young to live his own life. Even we are both unmarried, while he has become jan”-

“Control your mouth, Luke!” nindy growled while hitting Luke's mouth with the tip of a leaf-shaped pen that had been in his grasp. The man complained of pain. Lukas then pulled out his smartphone, opened a photo gallery and showed one of them to Nindy. Photos of two men. One person was more or less the same age as himself, another person looked a little older.

“This one is called Biondi. The best graduate architect. Doctor's son. Handsome right?” Nindy nodded observing the photo of a man her age with hair tied to the photo.

“How can this handsome man look for a soul mate? Even the sky goddess was willing to descend to earth to chase after him,” Nindy was gobsmacked.

“His father asked me to find him a mate, which is why I told you. I also do not understand why a man as handsome as he is unable to find his own partner,” he explained.

“If this one is Mr. Willy. They're both office partners. Widowers. He must also have experience in household affairs,” explained Lukas who immediately made Nindy land a blow on his shoulder.

“So what do you think?”

“Of course I would choose Biondi if you offered it to me,” the whole time Nindy made Luke land a small grapevine on the woman's smooth forehead.

“Taketh no harm we try. But you're the one who offered him.” Nindy said as she stroked her reddened forehead.

“Why me? What if he's mad at me?”

“You think he wouldn't be mad at me if I offered him?”

The two friends then engaged in a small debate, before the door to Ega's room finally opened.

“What are you guys fussing about?” ask the woman who came out of the room while walking closer, to make Lukas and Nindy immediately silent. The two were hinting at each other to have one of them answer that question.

“Uhm, ti, no. We only talked about the problem of my report that never finished,” Nindy replied in stammering.

“A, I, I'll be back in my room. Bye!” Luke rushed away from the noise he had just created, now left Ega who was still staring fixedly at Nindy with a gaze as if asking for an explanation. The glass-legged woman scratched her nape while grimacing reluctantly.

“I'm waiting for your answer, Nindy!” I asked back with great pressure.
