Convinced that the one standing in the doorway was Karin, Sean rushed up from where he was sitting. Without saying a word, he rushed up to the woman and landed a slap in the face until the sound of the meeting of two skin surfaces echoed into the room.
"Sean, what the fuck are you, son!" exclaimed Anita when she heard the sound of pain coming from the lips of her favorite daughter-in-law.
"This demonic woman deserves it, Ma! In fact, the slap just now was incomparable to what he had done all along!" sean stared intently at Karin as if he wanted to devour her alive. The eyeballs are flushed, the jaws are hardened and the chest deflates all the anger within.
Karin's face paled when she heard Sean's words just now. Somehow the little heart of the woman said that the CEO had known about the crimes he had been doing to Xena. However, he did not want to guess.
Shaking his head weakly and saying inwardly. 'I can't think negatively just yet. Sean could have been angry because of another problem. Besides, didn't I threaten Imelda, Xena and the servants so they wouldn't divulge the secret I've been keeping in meetings. So even if there are reports that say I often do evil to Xena as long as there is no evidence then it will be safe.'
Karin braved herself in her heart. His head looked back at the hazel-eyed owner. "Indeed, what I've done all this time, Sean so you can slap me in front of your secretary" said Karin. The right hand touched his cheek which was hot from a hard slap that landed on the cheek. It was so hard that it left a trace of a palm there.
Sean grinned, then stepped closer to Karin. "Don't you think I'm such a fool that I'm fooled by the crocodile tears streaming down the corner of your eye!" Then, he glanced at Anita who looked so worried about her favorite daughter-in-law. "I'm not Mama Anita who can easily melt just because she saw her favorite daughter-in-law tear up."
Anita doesn't understand where Sean's talking is going. Eyebrows furrowed, the brain thought hard looking for the red thread over the commotion that occurred in his mansion. The more trying to think hard, the more empty the woman's brain can not think clearly.
Anita resigned and chose to ask Sean directly. "Sean, tell Mama what's really going on. Mama really doesn't understand what you're talking about."
"Do you know what she did to Xena as long as we weren't home?" Sean emphasized each sentence spoken while staring at Anita with a flash of emotion. "Mama certainly doesn't know, right, if it turns out that she always mistreated Xena when everyone was gone. Mama's daughter-in-law would snarl, threatening to even lock my daughter in the barn without feeding her and drinking!"
Karin was trembling. The head shakes to the right and left while the palms touch the surface of the cheeks. While Anita was still frozen in place. Can't believe that his chosen son-in-law would be cruel to his beloved grandson.
"I'm sorry, if I'm presumptuous," Clarissa said, bringing Anita's consciousness back. "But, what Mr. Sean said was all true. For these three years, Madam Karin has been treating Miss Xena arbitrarily. Not even infrequently, he was violent when you were all not home."
"Don't talk to you!" karin snapped in a loud voice. Staring fiercely at the figure of the woman in front of him.
"I? Indiscriminately talk?" Clarissa smiled mockingly as she stared cynically at Karin. "I wouldn't dare say that if I didn't have proof, madam."
Karin's eyeballs are getting perfectly dilated. The face is getting pale followed by a heartbeat that pumps faster than usual. The sweat was pouring more and more, flooding her beautiful face.
"Evidence? What evidence do you have, hem, to the point of daring to be so haughty in front of me."
"What's this?" Anita put her hand in the envelope and found several photographs of bruises on Xena's bluish body. That instant also the eyes of the great madam Anderson widened. The heart stops beating for a few seconds and feels itself being pushed from the top of a cliff as it gazes at the bluish body of its beloved grandson.
Surrounded by curiosity, Karin snatches the photo from Anita's hand. At that moment, he felt the earth where he stood no longer spinning. Perfect widened eyeball. The palm of the hand covers the mouth while the other side holds some photos.
"Why is Mrs Karin silent? Must be wondering where I got it all from." Smiling mockingly at the woman who once ruined her life. Inwardly satisfied to be able to witness for themselves the beginning of Karin's suffering.
Feeling cornered and unwilling to be evicted from Anderson's residence, Karin reprises her role as Sean Anderson's wife. Want to turn things around to get Anita's support back even though the damn woman has seen the evidence.
"What is your purpose in providing this evidence? Want to ruin my good name in front of Mama Anita? After that, you took my position as Young Madam Anderson, didn't you?" cynical Karin while unsheathing a sharp look. "Sad. You cheap woman, justify all kinds of ways to seize what others have! Absolutely disgusting!"
"You came here with evidence engineered to make Mama Anita hate me. Very good, you are!" karin is back. Trying to be calm even though in the heart there is a sense of fear if the effort fails.
Instead of feeling insinuated, Clarissa smiled faintly as she flicked her long black hair back.
"My only goal is to free Miss Xena from a demonic woman like you, Madam!" peekit Clarissa's.
Furious at Clarissa's words, Karin raised her hand and pointed it at the secretary's face. However, a burly hand blocked his wrist.
"Never touch my wife, Karin!" A thunderous sound like the roar of lightning echoed throughout the room. Even the window glass in the mansion trembled as if it was about to break.
Sean threw Karin's hand in the air and said, "I trust Clarissa completely that the photo is not fabricated. All this time, you did treat my son very cruelly Karin. You just pretended to be good in front of us, but behind instead tortured Xena. Absolutely outrageous!"
"I can't let Xena live in agony forever. Therefore, from this moment on I talak you!" sean said confidently.
