The Revenge of the Actor

The Revenge of the Actor
Court Decision

The expected day arrives. Sean has been preparing for a divorce hearing to be decided by a judge. Thanks to the help of a famous lawyer, everything can run smoothly without obstacles. Especially during the mediation hearing, young master Anderson did not attend one of the important parts of a divorce before the judge knocked on the hammer. Therefore, the stages to a court ruling can be faster than usual.

Anita sits anxiously waiting for her beloved son who is still in the courtroom. Sean is accompanied by David and Rio-lawyer Anderson's family has been an hour away yet to show any sign of going out.

"Mama calm down, everything must be going smoothly according to the expectations of all of us," said Clarissa while holding the palm of Anita who began to sweat. He tried to calm the mother-in-law who had seemed agitated.

"What if the devil is caving in and corner you both? We all know what Karin looks like. He was cunning and always had the sense to counterattack his opponent. Mama's afraid Sean's divorce lawsuit was rejected by the judge." Anita's face grew increasingly frustrated at the thought of Karin remaining part of the Anderson family. He will feel more and more guilty to Sean and Xena for wrongly choosing the wrong woman as Sabrina's replacement.

"It must be granted, Ma. We have evidence of footage, photos of the violence Karin committed against Xena and the accounts of witnesses. I'm sure with that evidence, the judge immediately filed for Sean's divorce. It could even be that Karin was arrested for child abuse even though Xena was only a stepson there was still a law" Clarissa said. The woman rubbed Anita's shoulders gently. "We pray, may all things be made easy for God."

Shortly after, Sean was accompanied by law enforcement and David out of the courtroom. The water full of satisfaction is clearly drawn on the face.

Anita got up from the chair, then approached Sean. "Son, how? Did your divorce suit get granted by the judge?" asked the middle-aged woman with anxious expectation.

Sean nodded his head. "Of course it's granted. Can't you see how happy I am today? After a long time, the expected day finally arrived. The day I was freed from the shackles of my ex-wife."

Hearing Sean's remark, Anita can breathe a sigh of relief now that Karin has been gone from their lives forever. There was a smile of happiness clearly visible on the face. David, Clarissa and Rio. Everyone is happy because they can file a divorce lawsuit.

David reached out his hand forward and said, "Thank you, Mr. Rio. Thanks to your help, all the affairs finally went smoothly according to our expectations."

Rio received the helping hand and shook the hand of the American man. A sweet smile she gave to the client. "It's been my duty as a lawyer, helping clients in need."

When everyone was in a happy mood, a group of reporters approached. They flocked to Sean who was standing next to Clarissa.

"Sir Sean Anderson, is it true that your divorce was due to the presence of a third person?"

"Mr Sean, is there no possibility for you and Mrs Karin to unite? As far as I know, Mr.'s ex-wife is Anderson's family's favorite son-in-law."

"Gossip that is circulating says that the person in your house is a secretary in Anderson Group. Then, is the woman next to you the actor?" asked one of the reporters while looking intently at Clarissa.

A row of questions from reporters continued to be addressed to Anderson to make Clarissa breath tight. The camera shot was highlighted on Clarissa's figure standing next to Sean. It seems that the reporters were trying to dig deep information about the news that was warmly circulating in the country.

Instead of silencing his mouth, the reporters continued to scout Sean with questions that increasingly made the man emotional. They continue to corner Clarissa, as if the woman played an antagonist in the household story between the young master and the young mistress Anderson.

Seeing Sean and Clarissa become soft food for the news hunters, David did not have the heart. Especially now there is a prospective grandson in the womb of the secretary. He swung his feet through the crowd. The middle-aged man tried to take the body of the son-in-law away from where it was.

"Papa?" sean's strangles were held back when he saw the silvery-haired man next to Clarissa.

"Redirect their attention. Papa will take Clarissa home" whispered David. Thinking this was the only way Clarissa could escape the reporters.

Sean glanced at Clarissa. The heart was torn apart as if stabbed by a flash of a sharp knife. Tucked into remorse for allowing his beloved wife to take him to the courtroom. If he knew there would be this incident, it would have asked the wife to remain in the mansion with Anita.

Without a second thought, Sean took a few steps forward trying to lure the reporter into following him. That way, he hopes their concentration breaks out and David can get Clarissa into the car.

There was a moment of silence in the car. It looks Clarissa is still quite surprised about the incident earlier. The woman was still silent even though she had already left the religious court a few minutes ago. Neither Anita nor David would bother. They make room for the woman to calm down.

"From tomorrow Papa will ask Antonio to find a bodyguard for Clarissa. Papa doesn't want this to happen again." David's words broke the silence.

Anita who was sitting next to Clarissa looked at her husband from the rearview mirror. "Mom agrees, Pa. But ... if you can find a female bodyguard so that Sean does not get emotional when he sees Clarissa go among other men. Papa knows for himself what if Sean is angry," said the middle-aged woman. "It is better to prevent before something unexpected happens."

David returned Anita's gaze from the same rearview mirror. In a loud voice the man replied, "Well. Papa will find one female guard from three male guards. While out of the house, Clarissa must be escorted by guards. Papa was sure the reporters wouldn't stop until they got what they wanted."

"You, Ma, must be careful in speaking words. Don't let your words boomerang us all" David explained. For almost thirty years of married life, he knew very well how the character of Anita who was unable to control herself. Sometimes I say things that shouldn't be said.

Anita sighed softly. David's words were not only a warning but also a commandment to be obeyed. "Yes, Pa. I'll be more careful in my actions." Clarissa preferred silence rather than engaging in a conversation between her two in-laws.
