After closing the door to his room, Sam slid his face against the wall, right by the side of his bedroom door. His breathing sounded so heavy, a gurgle of sadness and disappointment was visible on his face. Sam repeatedly hit the wall with his palm.
"It should be the news of Vania's pregnancy, the most wonderful news of my life, having a child with the woman I love. But, why am I so sad and so claustrophobic about seeing Vania?"
Sam gathered the rest of his energy. He tried to look strong. He stepped his foot down the stairs. Arriving at the door of his grandmother's room, there was a sound of laughter from inside.
Sam held back his steps.
When can Vania and I talk and joke around in time?
Slowly Sam opened the door. Resa, her mother, and her grandmother looked at her.
"Hello jagoanku …." Seru Marina's.
Sam smiled, he hugged his grandmother. After releasing a hug on his grandmother, Sam sat on the edge of the bed, right next to Resa. Resa wants to stay away. But the distance was already fixed with Ramida sitting on the other side. Resa tried to relax, even though the beat of his heart rhythm did not want to make peace with him.
Ramida smiled to herself, looking at the hue of Resa's suddenly flushed red face, as Sam sat beside her. Ramida deliberately does not move, so that Resa stays in position.
Sam pulled his grandmother's wheelchair closer to him. "Is grandma happy?" Ask Sam.
"Grandmother is very happy, Grandma asked for one grandchild, you will love two," Marina exclaimed.
Sam grabbed Resa's hand. He held it so tightly. "I don't know what to do. But, thanks, 'cause you want to conceive my son, and you know that I-"
"This is indeed my duty, sir," interrupted Resa. He immediately pulled out his hand that Sam was holding.
Ramida could not stand Resa anymore, she felt sorry to see the reddening hue. "Resa .. You just rest, let mother, I take care" Ramida said.
Resa immediately stood up, he left Marina's room, and forgot to say goodbye to the others. Right in front of the door, Resa turned around. "Where was my vitamin?"
"Gosh, I forgot. Uh, it's the same you're Sam. You left earlier, you bought me a resa too, right?" Ask Ramida.
"Yes, I bought both. Resa's on the guest table, I put it there, when I came earlier." Said Sam.
"Living table? How careless of you! What if a maid opens the bag!" Ramida Bentak.
"Let me take it myself now, Master, Madam." Resa continued his steps back.
Ramida kept looking at Resa who had now disappeared behind the door.
Marina looked at her grandson's face. "Nr …." Call her.
Sam looked at his grandmother's face. "Yes new …."
"Sam, your grandmother and mother didn't ask you to love your second wife. But, at least you're responsible to your wife, you can't love Resa. But, can you pay a little attention to Resa? Especially now that she's pregnant with your child" Marina persuaded.
"I'll try, grandma." Said Sam.
**********
Vania and Resa are experiencing different things. Vania always looks fresh, she does not know and does not recognize morning sickness, she can do activities like usual days. Resa, he couldn't get out of his room. Even next to him was a container to drain his vomit, if he could no longer step into the toilet. This has been a natural remedy since a week ago.
In Sam's room.
Vania sat cross-legged on a yoga mat, her palms on her knees, her eyes still closed.
"Darling …." The whimpering of the voice kept repeating. But the one called did not respond.
"Darling …." Whining Sam.
Vania let out a rough breath, she opened both her eyes. "Sam! I can't exercise hard! At least let me do yoga, please .. If you don't like it, get out there!" Vania closed her eyes again, continuing her yoga activities.
Sam grunts. He was standing right in front of Vania.
Vania opened her eyes again. "Something seems to have forgotten about the agreement, didn't I apply these terms a week ago?"
Sam snorted, he immediately left his room. Looking at Vania, her emotions were always rising. Sam stepped down the stairs, the situation seemed quiet. Sam decides to go see his grandmother. As he passed through Resa's room. There was a sound of vomiting.
Sam stopped his steps, he looked to the right and left. Feeling lonely, no one saw him. Sam went straight into Resa's room. Didn't see Resa in bed. But the bathroom door seemed wide open. Sam looked at Resa's room. On the nightstand located near the Resa bed. Composed of various vitamins and a jar of white powder. Sam smiled. Somehow her heart was happy to see all the vitamins and unlabeled pregnancy milk again.
"Mom is smart" murmured Sam.
Uwekkkk!
I heard that sound again from the bathroom. Sam's admiration is gone. He immediately stepped into the bathroom. A woman is seen leaning in front of the sink.
Sam felt pity, out of his consciousness, he approached the woman and rubbed the woman's back.
Resa felt better, she opened the tap water, immediately gargled and washed her face. As he straightened his body he was very surprised, realizing who had rubbed his back. He thinks it's Ramida, it's Sam.
"Tu-tu-Master?" Resa stammered.
"I'm sorry, you're suffering like this, because of me."
Resa looked down, confused what to say. He wanted to step towards his room, but his body felt limp, until he lost his balance. However, that burly hand was on standby holding his body. Resa helpless, he resignedly fell in Sam's arms.
Sam helps Resa walk to the bed. The woman's face looked pale. Sam felt tired of holding the woman's body, he carried Resa to get to bed faster. Slowly Sam laid Resa's body on the bed.
"Do you want anything?" Ask Sam.
Resa tried to catch her breath. He got up from his position. He rested his back on the bed.
"Sorry sir, I don't mean to rule, but the milk glass is far, can it?"
Sam smiled, he grabbed the glass that Resa meant. Immediately he gave the glass filled with milk to Resa.
"What is this milk?" Ask Sam.
"Milk for pregnant women" replied Resa. With ease he straightened out the milk in the glass.
Sam was amazed by Resa. This woman knew that the fetus in her womb would one day be taken. But, this woman took care of the fetus with all her heart.
Resa put an empty glass on the nightstand next to him. He carved a smile on his face.
"Thank you, sir, I don't know how I would have if there wasn't a Master" Resa said.
Sam sat beside Resa, she leaned Resa's face against her field chest. Her fingers rubbed the hair of Resa's head. While his one hand, grasped Resa's palm so tightly.
"You're an amazing woman Resa. It's just that life is cruel, why do you have to be the wife of a man who can't love you?" Said Sam.
Realizing that Resa pulls herself out of Sam's arms. However, his body movement was restrained. Slowly Sam held the nape of Resa. The two look at each other. My gaze from Resa's eyes made Sam lose control. The two faces were getting closer. Outside Sam's consciousness. He pitted his lips against Resa's. That warm and gentle encounter, the longer it went deeper.
The ceklakkk!
The door to the room opens someone.
"Resa bagaimaaa--" the man could not continue his words, as his eyes saw the two people in front of him dissolve in the glances of the tongue.
