Sometimes what we think is good but not necessarily good for the views of others. And so did Kevin's decision. At the time he had to grieve with the state of his wife and daughter. Kevin got a promotion in his office. But unfortunately, the promotion must pass an experiment where Kevin is given the challenge to repair a branch of the company that almost went bankrupt outside the city.
It was hard for Kevin to accept the challenge. It is better to remain in his original position as long as he remains in the same city as his wife and daughter. But after contemplating one night and seeing the state of his wife and daughter there was no meaningful development. Finally, Kevin realized that he was really not needed to wait for his wife and daughter. With a heavy heart, Kevin finally made the decision to accept the challenge. Kevin is very hopeful, hopefully with him away from Regina. His wife and daughter were healed.
And it turns out that the tough decision taken by Kevin increasingly feels heavy getting permission from both parents. Mr. Raka and Tika's mother disagreed with the decision. Tika's mother is convinced that Kevin really hasn't changed and still loves Melati. Mr. Raka tried to force Kevin to cancel the decision that had been known by the office.
"Papa doesn't think about your decision, Kevin. At times like this, you are more concerned with your career. If you are afraid of being fired. Papa is ready to give what we have for you to open a business. What did Mr. Bayu and Ms. Siska say after learning of your decision, Vin?"
Mr. Raka said very slowly and lethargic. Pak Raka's energy seemed to be running out to vent his anger at Kevin. Since hearing the decision and request for permission from Kevin, Mr. Raka has vented anger and disappointment in his son.
While Tika's mother was no longer able to say words. His anger really peaked so that it could not be shown through words. Tika's mother was very disappointed. The woman positioned herself like Regina. It will surely be more hurt so realized that her husband is more concerned with career.
In front of the two parents. Kevin just lowered his head. His decision was unanimous can not be contested again even though his parents did not give permission, Kevin will still leave.
"If you insist on putting your career at risk. My mom and dad will not leave anything to you. We will leave what we have to your daughter" Mr. Raka said. The last threat he thought would make Kevin overturn his decision. It turned out that Kevin nodded his head in agreement with what Mr. Raka said.
Raka rubbed her face in frustration. Somehow he will explain to both of his besi about Kevin's decision. For two days, Kevin did not go to the hospital. Mr. Raka had trouble finding words to make excuses when Mr. Raka and Siska's mother asked about Kevin's absence in the hospital.
"You shouldn't hang Regina's status if you act like this. The regret you showed these two months turned out to be just a lie. You should have divorced Regina when she left home. Your attitude like this is more painful than throwing a divorce on Regina."
Unrelenting stop Mr. Raka trying to resuscitate Kevin. But the man remained in his stance. What makes Mr. Raka and Siska's mother even more shocked, it turns out Kevin's invitation tonight, not just asking for permission. Kevin asked his parents to come to the house to inform him of his decision. That is, Kevin does not need permission from both parents.
"You don't go crazy Kevin, if you have the slightest feeling. Ask your two in-laws for permission before you leave" Tika's mother snapped.
From earlier on strike but saw Kevin had pushed a suitcase from his room made Tika's mother finally make a sound.
"No more time ma. Tonight, I have to go. I'm tipping home. If Regina is conscious. Please tell him. That this house is his too" Kevin said. The man continued to step towards the door of the house ignoring the angry gazes of his parents.
Those words accompanied Kevin's departure from the house. Kevin no longer answered. He put his suitcase in the car and ran to the car door. Without looking at his parents who were also standing in front of the house. Kevin took the car away.
It turns out Kevin can't even see his parents before he leaves. From the rearview mirror, Kevin can see a glimpse of Tika's mother leaning her head into Raka's arms with a cry clearly visible on the woman's face.
Not only were his parents sad. Kevin was also sad because he had to part with both parents who were very dear to him. If allowed to choose, Kevin also did not want to part with his parents let alone have to part with his wife and daughter. He wanted to hear his daughter's first cry. She also wanted to see Regina come to her senses from her criticism. Because of the mistakes in the past. Kevin will accept this punishment if it brings good and healing to his wife and daughter.
The night trip was even more gripping when Kevin's car was out of the city area. It was no longer the tall building he had passed through on that trip. Now that the tall tree passes adds loneliness to Kevin's heart. The journey is still long. If there are no obstacles, Kevin will arrive at his destination at eleven o'clock tomorrow. Actually, the office provides airline tickets for Kevin's departure but the man chose to bring his car because he wanted to be alone.
Kevin was alone. With the car taking itself further and further away from the city, Kevin sometimes shed tears. His heart was so empty, Kevin really felt lonely. Staying away from someone who is very loved is not easy for Kevin especially with their current household situation. It could be after Regina realized not the apology that Kevin will receive but a divorce lawsuit.
Imagining that, Kevin repeatedly hit the steering wheel because he was upset with himself. Sometimes Kevin also stops his car when his heart throbbing pain considering all his bad deeds to Regina.
"Regina, daughter. Wake up. I've been away from your side. A bad person like me is indeed inappropriate for both of you," Kevin said in a sobbing voice. Kevin deliberately stopped his car no matter how many times along the trip. Kevin hugged the steering wheel as if it were Regina's wife.
Kevin continued his journey. He was tired from driving alone. The hour hand shows the number one in the morning and Kevin plans to find a safe place to rest in his car.
Just now, Kevin stopped his car in front of the diner that was open for twenty-four hours. Kevin felt his phone vibrate a sign of an incoming message.
"Regina and your daughter. It's past its critical period."
Kevin was crying happily getting a message from Mr. Raka. Kevin kissed a picture of Regina and her daughter that Raka had just sent. Kevin felt his decision was not wrong. Kevin was also happy with his father's attitude. It turns out that behind the angry words issued by Mr. Raka. It turns out that Raka still cares about Kevin himself.
And what Raka did, that also made Kevin sobbing. It turns out that's the real affection of the parents. Any anger at his son is still thinking about his own son.
