The Story of Aira

"Assynn...!!"

Aira stopped her activities after hearing the greetings from outside.

"Ryan..?!" muttered. "Then yes?" he's still not sure.

Shortly thereafter, footsteps approached his room. Aira could immediately know that the one who came was her mother, because the door of the room was left wide open.

"Turn off the ironing. There's Ryan outside." so the mother reported.

"Ryan?"

"Yes, get out!" mother's word.

Aira and her mother walked out of the main building. Then the mother takes the direction to the kitchen to make a drink, while Aira meets Ryan who is waiting for his arrival on the terrace.

"Hi.." said Aira.

Just a few days without meeting, their attitude became awkward. As if I had just met.

"I bother?" ask Ryan. Aira replied with a headband.

"How are you?" ryan asked again after Aira sat in the seat opposite to the seat occupied by Ryan.

"good. How're you?" aira replied while asking again.

Their conversation paused for a moment, as they saw the arrival of the mother.

"Drink first, son Ryan. It looks like it." said Aira's mother.

"Thank you bude, so it's a hassle." Ryan replied.

"It's just iced tea, don't bother."

Aira's mother returned to the back, after putting iced tea and snacks on the table.

"You look so tangled, you're sick?" Aira was a little worried.

"No, maybe because I've been thinking too much about you lately" Ryan said. "Until I find it hard to sleep." he said.

"There are many other things you need to think about. Why should I think of me anyway...? I'm fine." said Aira.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you" Ryan said. "You must be mad at me, right?" so did Ryan.

"I met an old friend, he was in pain on the road. Then I took him to the hospital." Ryan began to tell the chronology without Aira asking.

"Because her parents can't come yet, I was asked to look after her until they arrived. And this morning his parents just came, because they just got his plane ticket. So I went straight to see you. I know you're off today."

"Is it so bad? Until you don't have time to tell me?" so swear Aira who can only bounce in her heart.

"You're forgiving me?" Ryan looked into Aira's eyes.

"Nothing to forgive. Next time do not repeat. I was thinking why-why, maybe Gio hurt you." said Aira who is.

"No. I haven't seen him yet" he replied. "Did he see you again??" Ryan was curious.

A slow nod from Aira made Ryan again hold his anger in front of Aira.

"He hurt you?!" ryan's tone was a little up the octave.

"No. He just offered me a ride. But I refuse." Aira was very honest, because that was the fact. "He also came to buy my father's fried rice" he continued.

"Find me...!!" the Ryan snort.

"Well, what time is it tomorrow?" Ryan doesn't want to talk about Gio anymore.

"Morning" said Aira.

"All right, I'll pick you up tomorrow." Ryan is excited.

......................

That day when Ryan had just reached the courtyard of the shopping complex, his phone suddenly rang. Tiara called. Aira didn't want to ask anything. He just slowed his movement off the helmet, because he was curious.

"Yes, why?"

"...."

"I'm driving my girlfriend to work."

"Huh, girlfriend?!" muttered Aira. He was the one who was with Ryan.

"I'll be there later, my boyfriend wants to see you too. I'll call you later, bye..." Ryan put his phone back in his pocket.

"By the way I like the origin." said Aira as she handed her helmet to Ryan.

"Sorry, I have to do it. Let him not expect me too much." replied Ryan.

"He who?" ask Aira.

"The person I helped."

"Ooh..."

"Wait with me after work?" pinta Ryan's.

"To meet Him...?!" sahut Aira with the last word full of emphasis.

"Smart!" Ryan patted the top of Aira's head.

"alright. I go in first." pamitnya.

"OK." replied Ryan.

"Eh, Aira...!!" ryan exclaimed before Aira moved away. "Aren't you going to be my boyfriend?!" goda Ryan's. Although he basically wanted the relationship to happen to him and Aira.

"Work..., work...!!!" exclaim Aira as she passes.

"Sorry Tiara, because your position has been replaced by the presence of this sweet girl." Ryan said.

In the afternoon Ryan and Aira actually came to the hospital to visit Tiara. But arriving in front of Tiara's room, Ryan undoes his intention to knock on the door. Because he heard something from inside.

"I'm grateful that child wasn't born in the world. Because in reality you want me to just hurt Ryan, right? How can you now be angry because I miscarried???!! You evil man!!!"

"At first yes! But once I know there is a fetus in your stomach, I want our relationship to be more serious and you give birth to that child which is my flesh and blood. Who is more evil? A mother who deliberately took medicine to abort her future baby, or me???!!"

"We'd better go!" bring Aira. Ryan just nodded.

The two did not go home immediately, they sat in the hospital garden first.

"It's true that the baby belongs to Gio." murmured Ryan.

"Why does it belong to Gio?" the question spontaneously came out of Aira's lips.

"Nothing." replied Ryan. "Therefore I took care of you from him, afraid that the thing that Tiara experienced happened to you as well" he said later.

"Well?!" Aira still doesn't understand.

"Gio always wants to take what I have. Because he always thought, my mother has taken away his father. Me and the Gio brothers, my mother Gio's father's second wife."

"So he's your brother?" Aira just found out.

"Eem." replied Ryan. "Enough Tiara. I won't let him take you away from me. Even though I realize you're not mine. But you're the only girl I'm close to right now." Ryan looked at Aira who was beside him.

"I'm not an easy thing to pick up!" chirps Aira with a contrived expression. He deliberately did it to melt the atmosphere.

"You can say yes...!!!" Ryan pinched Aira's cheek in dismay.

"Sialaaann girl...!!" yell at someone while kicking the wind.

Aira and Ryan turned to the source of the voice. Gio. Yes, that person is Gio. His face was filled with anger.

Ryan stepped off his stool, he approached Gio. Aira followed behind him.

"If it's a fucking Tiara, then what are you?" said Ryan. "You two are the same. You better repent." he said.

"You...!!" furious Gio.

Gio's anger seemed to level up in front of Ryan. He clenched his hands, ready to hit his sister. But the presence of Aira, made him doubtful.

"We'll just go!" Aira pulls Ryan's hand, then leaves Gio.

......................

"Just go home, don't stop by." Aira told Ryan.

"Ready!" said.

"Be careful..."

Ryan left Aira's house. Aira immediately closed the gate, and locked it. He had caught the front of the house who was watching himself while smiling.

"Yet...!!!" Aira quickened her steps towards the house.

"It's so annoying anyway. Don't remember what age?!"

"What's wrong?" mother asked, because she heard Aira who kept grumbling.

"Neighbors ahead, upset mom...!!" whining. "I don't like him seeing me like that. It's horrible!"

"Sstt.., by the way, it's so." scolded mom.

"Indeed she is. I don't feel like I'm here long." Aira entered the room without saying goodbye to her mother who was in the living room.

"Aira.., Aira.." muttered his mother while shaking her head.

Later that night, Aira and her mother went to the front shop to buy candles. They both forget that their area has a turn for power outages.

"Aah!" Aira was startled as the flashlight beam pointed towards her face.

"Sorry to surprise." The guy was the neighbor's front om. Rendi Sir.

"Bude and Aira's deck where are you going?" asked Rendi while glancing at Aira.

"To the front kiosk sir. Buy candle. We are out of stock." replied Aira's mother.

"Let me help shed some light" he said.

"Not necessary, sir. There's this." Aira turned on the flashlight from her phone.

"Excuse me, sir." said politely.

"Be careful.." replied Rendi.

"Dak deck deck deck. Since when do I have a sister...!!!" grunts Aira annoyed.

In front of the alley many young men were hanging out, because it happened that the patrol post was in front of the narrow alley to the Aira rented house. Even so, Aira did not feel afraid or hesitant. Because the young men in his neighborhood never harassed him. They always slightly nodded their heads and smiled kindly whenever they met the Aira family. They also have great respect for Aira's father. Only one is unsettling, namely the front neighbor.

"We help you shine ya bude." said a young man politely, while turning on the motor light.

"Thank you, so troublesome." reply Aira's mother is no less friendly.

"Thank you." Aira did not forget to thank them for their kindness.

"Sama-sama." said some of them.

Aira pouted again as she approached her house. Because Mr. Rendi was monitored still sitting in front of his house while playing his cellphone.

"The splinters?" said Rendi sir.

Aira ignored him, she immediately went in leaving her mother.

"Yes, sir. Excuse me.." Aira's mother closed the gate again and locked it tightly.

"When can Aira live comfortably here?!... Once there, now there is also Mr. Rendi who seems to disturb the peace of my daughter."

A mother's feelings are never wrong. Lately Aira's mother had time to suspect Mr. Rendi, but he always suppressed his bad prejudices. But tonight he really saw it all. Exactly what his daughter often complained about.

"People's views of us will never be the same. Someone looked in the shade. There is cynicism. Others see us full....

Aahh, stop.

If only I could close his eyes. Maybe I'll do it and I'll never open it even if he begs me. Those eyes were horrible and disgusting.

Astaghfirullah....!!!

O Allah.., keep me away from bad things...."
