The Story of Aira

The Story of Aira
6

Since the meal, Aira felt Icha as if she was avoiding him. While Rangga continued to pout her about the same, her private tutor and her closeness to Ryan.

But Aira tried not to care about that. Because he was focused on teaching the children who would soon take the final exam.

Until one day...

"Thank you for driving me" Aira told Ryan.

"Either. Tomorrow to teach again?" ask Ryan.

"Holiday, Saturday" he said..

"Yaaa.., can't send you home again dong." said Ryan.

"Not to be lebay. I'm in first."

Just now that Aira landed her body on the mattress that someone gave her, it was heard that someone closed the door very hard. To make Aira come out, the mother who was in her room was surprised.

"Dad...?!" mumbling mother.

Dad's eyes are so round and red. He looked at his only puppet princess who was still in front of the door of his room.

"From today stop teaching!" hardik the father.

"Why then?" ask Aira. "And I gave my permission, too."

"Don't ask Aira too much!" the tone is getting higher.

"Yaaah.., sit down first." mother said.

"Shut up, mom!" mom also had to beat her husband. "This kid has ruined our good name!" the father shouted while pointing at the face of his son who was still confused.

The veins on the father's neck appear protruding and twitching. It scared Aira. This was his first time seeing his father this angry.

"Me?!" muttered Aira. "Ke...., why me?"

"Les is just your alibi. You deliberately accepted it because you were in a relationship with that child! So that you can continue to meet him so!!"

Aira's eyes started to glaze over. Even in a split second those tears wet his cheeks.

"No dad, that's not true." Aira was trying to straighten out so that Dad wouldn't misunderstand me. But the father seemed to not want to listen to anything.

"First I was proud of you. Can blend well with them. Doing a lot of good things. But the more you do it the worse. Even you're ruining other people's relationships!"

"Dad, I didn't do that. Really...!" Aira grabbed her father's hand, but father brushed aside violently.

"Enough Aira!!" his jolt. "Even his mother stopped him in the middle of the road. In front of many people he said that you always look for attention to Rangga, to make Rangga leave his child. Then you also approach the boyfriend of the person again. Which often takes you home. What do you want to be, huh?!!!"

Dad threw the plastic chair in any direction, until it hit the glass and broke.

"Dad's been.., it's not good to hear people." Mom rubbed her husband's back.

"When have you been like this?? Did you ever teach that kind of disgusting thing to you?!" I didn't stop being angry.

"Dad disappointed with you. You have hurt my mother and father. I'm sorry to bring you here, Aira!!!"

After that regretful remark, father went to his room. Mom approached Aira.

"Honey.., calm yourself down. Go to sleep, let the mother talk to the father." Mom immediately followed the father after rubbing his daughter's back.

Aira was still crying, she was sitting on the cold and damp floor. His head was propped up on a bamboo booth that confined his room to the living room.

Aira's eyes were fixed on one thing before her. He dragged his weak body in shock at hearing all of his father's insults. Get closer to something that catches his attention, then pick it up.

"I'm sorry, mom. I've let you all down."

The glass is now in his right hand. Whether the demons mastered it, until Aira had the courage to cut his own hands repeatedly. He seemed to want to make himself in pain before finally leaving forever, and not let his parents down again.

Slowly Aira smelled the rancid aroma of the red liquid slowly filling his hands. With tears in her eyes, Aira moved and opened the back door of her house

Kriyet...

"Dad.., Aira to the back." Mom ran. Dad caught up with him.

In the backyard, Aira was seen standing at the edge of the well. His eyes were blankly facing down the well, with tears flowing nonstop.

"Yinoo!!!" shouting mother.

"Airas!!" he ran and hugged his daughter from behind. "Oh my God, son." cried the father smelling fishy.

The father gently pulled the body of his daughter, then washed Aira's hand with water that was deliberately swaddled to take ablution.

Aira really did not feel anything as the father's hand washed his hand, and as the remnants of the water permeated through his wounds. He only felt pain in his chest because he found out that his father trusted others more than his own son.

Dad carried Aira to the room, then treated the incision so much on Aira's left arm. No screams from pain. Again only clear liquid came out of Aira's eyes still staring blankly. His father and mother cried while treating the wounds.

"I'm sorry dad.., please don't do anything like this again, son.." whispered dad. "Sleep. Mom and Dad will be with you."

Aira threw herself on the bed. He was between his father and mother. There is no speech. In the arms of her parents, Aira stared only at the huge worn-out plastic hanging from the ceiling of her room.

......................

"Astaghfirullah.." he said softly.

Aira flinched as she looked at the few cuts in her hand. And two antiseptic plasters stuck there.

"You...!!" aira screeched while applying a slight pressure over the two plasters.

"It seems so deep.." so he murmured inwardly.

Before moving on to take ablution, Aira looked at herself in a mirror hanging on the wall of her room. Red eyes, puffiness, swelling. Because he kept crying all night.

"Ayaaah.., can't you hear my explanation. I didn't do any of that."

Aira looked at the wound on her hand and returned her tears, when she remembered the series of events last night that so suddenly struck her mentally.

"Eh, it's up." Mom went into her daughter's room. "Let's go, hunt for the day" said the mother with a smile.

"Mother.." she said softly.

Mom hugged Aira, then rubbed her daughter's back.

"All will be well. The truth will soon be revealed, son. I'm sure my mother's son is a good son. Mother's water won't hurt anyone else. And after those kids graduated with good grades, I'd be proud of you." said the mother.

"Thank you mom..."

"Let's take ablution and pray. Let me tidy up your room" he said.

The sky was starting to light, mom was already busy in the kitchen making breakfast. My dad was shopping at the market.

"Bude...!!!" call someone from outside.

"Yes, ma'am." I went out to see that guy.

"Ina's mom said tell her to take her order, 'cause she wants out" she said.

"Okay, thank you ma'am."

After that, I went back to the kitchen.

"Aira, I'm staying first."

"Where are you going?" ask Aira.

"Grab some vegetables at Ina's mother's place, I ordered sam bu Ina yesterday."

"Let me take the ma'am" said Aira.

Aira goes to Ina's house to take her mother's order. After returning from the house, Aira accidentally meets Ryan.

"...!! Wait!" with a little running Ryan approached Aira.

"Hi.." That's all Aira said.

"Why didn't you return my message last night?" ask Ryan.

Yeah, from last night until this second Aira didn't check her phone. Let the flat object lay on the table.

"Sorry, I haven't held HP since last night" he said. Very flat, expressionless.

"Ra, what's wrong with you?" ryan was starting to worry. He felt something different.

"No what. I have to go home, mom is waiting for me." said Aira.

"Hhhhh...!!!" jerit Aira slow.

Ryan pulled out Aira's left hand, as Aira was about to step up.

"Why Ra?!" Ryan was panicking.

"Free, Ryaaan. It's sakiiit...!!" aira said enduring the pain she felt.

"Ah, sorry." Ryan immediately took his hand off Aira's hand.

"Let me see!" ryan said later.

"Don't!" Aira hid her hands behind her back.

"Aira, please...!" pinta Ryan with a very sharp look. "Or I'll force you!!"

The threat did not make Aira give up. He did not want to linger in that place. Nor do they want to create new gossip material for people who will see them later.

"Ryan, I have to go. Excuse me!" Aira left Ryan who was still glued to that place.

"What's going on??!!" thought Ryan.

"I'm sorry, Ryan..." Aira closed her eyes for a moment.

"These injuries are not worth the father's disappointment. Nothing compared to the pain of not trusting me anymore. Do I have the right to demand revenge for their actions against me??!..."
