Ch 40: Exams From Bai Long

Rey was still surrounding the Sword and trying to figure out what this sword was. Although Rey knew that this Sword belonged to the Lightning God but felt that there were still other mysteries.

Rey tried to concentrate all of her soul to look at the mystery behind this Sword and was shocked as her soul bounced around while trying to figure out the mystery of this Sword.

"Huh.., my soul was slightly injured from the bounce, is there still another mystery?" Rey murmured while looking around again and did not dare to pierce through the mysteries of this Sword.

This sword seemed so mysterious because Rey's soul was already strong enough but quickly bounced around and was even severely injured.

Rey's Soul Power alone was already on par with a Divine Realm Cultivator and if it met a Golden Core realm Cultivator it could still escape safely.

Rey holds his chin even though he is now in the Soul world where only his soul is here and his real body still has his room.

After a while Rey examined this Sword, she daydreamed for a while but when a beam of bright blue light lit up in front of her and illuminated her eyes.

Rey according to his eyes but use the eyes of the soul that is useful to see even though the blue light is very bright and makes the heat very painful.

After a while the bright blue light slowly disappeared and Rey noticed that there was a humanoid creature that looked like a human but had two small horns.

Rey quickly stood by as she looked at the demon-like creature and its aura was quite impressive. Rey was quite depressed with her aura alone and the creature smiled cynically as it looked at the distressed Rey.

"Are you the human who inherited the Lightning Sword?" Asked the humanoid creature while letting out its aura.

'Isn't this in the soul world that can't use inner power and why can these beings wear it?" Inner Rey while wiping the sweat that washes her.

"There's no need to think about why I can use my inner strength, all you need to know is that I'm the guardian of the Lightning Sword, I'm serving as the examiner of the Lightning Sword owner's eligibility" The creature was able to read Rey's mind.

"So you're going to test me?, I asked what exams will I take to get eligibility in your eyes?" Rey asked as she let out her manful aura despite not being able to give off an aura of inner strength/cultivation.

The humanoid creature smiled cynically and clapped but quickly hit Rey.

"Bug!!".

Rey bounced so far that several meters away, Rey stared intently at the humanoid creature and wanted to avenge his blow.

The humanoid creature quickly kicked Rey and Rey could only bounce back again. Rey coughed up blood and was surprised that physical strength could be used in the soul world.

The humanoid creature did not stop there, he quickly hit Rey, kicked Rey and beat Rey all out.

Rey herself was not strong enough to withstand the blows of the humanoid creature and was instead struck constantly.

"The heir of the Lightning Sword is very weak and it seems that you are not suitable to be the heir to the Lightning Sword" said the humanoid creature while putting on a condescending face.

The denigrated Rey quickly stared intently and darted towards the humanoid creature, unfortunately Rey was quickly hit and bounced again.

"I'd better kill you for being a weak heir, I don't know why that person bequeathed the Lightning Sword to you" The humanoid creature's eyes quickly wanted to kill Rey.

The humanoid creature was shocked by the dark energy and quickly alerted Rey. Rey herself had her eyes now turned blackish red and her gaze was terrifying.

"Loose creatures how dare you make me unleash my true power" Rey said quickly waving her hand and the humanoid creature bounced off.

Although Rey does not know what power it is but now she needs it to defeat this humanoid creature and become its rightful owner.

"W-how can you have that power" said the humanoid creature while wiping the blood of his lips.

"What power is this?, do you know it?" Rey asked raised the humanoid creature's body and pulled it.

"You how could you not know that power, whether you are really that person's child" replied the humanoid creature that made Rey not understand.

Rey only knows that Rey's father is actually a strong man, he feels his family is a powerful family of Cultivators and dominates the world.

"I ask once again what is this power?" Rey asked as she stared intently at the humanoid creature.

"I'm sorry for not being able to tell you what power this is, but if you're strong enough, you can definitely know that power" the humanoid replied, speaking politely and appearing very respectful.

"Sadly.., weren't you so arrogant ha bastard!!, what an attitude you had" Rey said as she threw the humanoid creature away.

"I'm sorry that I don't know you master, I'm BaiLong saluting the owner of the Sword" Bai Long replied then lowered his head and knelt down.

"Wake up, you said your name is Bai Long?, are you one of the dragon race?" Rey asked while thinking that Bai Long is a descendant of the Dragon Race.

"Right Master, I am one of the Dragon Ancestors who was given the task of guarding the Lightning Sword and serving the Master of the Lightning Sword" Bai Long replied with a bright smile.

"Because now you're my servant, can't you get out of this world and can you help me when I'm in trouble?" Rey asked while holding her chin.

According to Rey, Bai Long has a very strong and domineering power when there is in the middle continent.The strange strength of Rey is now gone and Rey feels very exhausted.

"I'm sorry Master, I can't get out of this soul world yet I can help Master practice the science of Lightning Sword and help me master to strengthen the soul" Bai Long replied.

Rey smiled brightly, although Bai Long could not help her in the real world but Bai Long could still help her to increase her strength and understanding of the Lightning Sword.

"Ohh....., yes do you know who the owner of the Lightning Sword was before?" Rey asked despite knowing that the previous owner was the God of Lightning.

"The previous owner was a True God/True God and comprehended the Lightning Dao until it was merged as the Lightning God" Bai Long replied then explaining about the previous owner.

Rey also wants an information about her real family and about why they are being pursued by the Holy Alination Tapa. Rey only listened to all the explanations from Bai Long and sometimes praised Bai Long for understanding a lot of information regarding the world of True Immortals.
