Ch 42: Preparing for the Ancient Ruins

"Ohh.., yes my master heard rumors about an ancient ruin that was near the Thousand Sword Sect to be opened within half a year" Fam Yuan said.

Rey is a little surprised about an ancient ruin that will open in the near future and also Rey actually wants to finish her affairs in this Holy Phoenix Empire.

"An ancient ruins huh?, can you explain the details about these ancient ruins?" Rey asked while holding her chin.

"Alright my master will explain the details" Fam Yuan replied then explaining about these ancient ruins.

These ancient ruins are referred to as the ruins of a person who was in the Emperor Realm, according to rumors saying that these ancient ruins housed the tomb of an Emperor realm Cultivator and according to rumors also said that many treasures.

Rey herself is interested in the treasures that lie within the ancient ruins but Rey still does not know what kind of danger will come to her while in the ancient ruins and what kind of creatures are guarding her.

Fam Yuan also explained that these ancient ruins once appeared in the past two decades and killed nearly 80% of the incoming Cultivators.

According to the cultivators who had survived inside these ancient ruins there was a lightning barrier that struck anyone who wanted to go deeper and there were many powerful monsters.

Cultivators who enter are only allowed in the Divine Realm, on top of that they will be struck by lightning to death and their age should not be more than 25 years and above.

Ancient ruins that managed to be explored only until the fifth door, according to experts who had been there this ancient ruins has many areas and five doors it is only a prefix.

The experts who managed to get out of the ancient ruins gained many treasures and their cultivation improved greatly.also most experts would send out their disciples since they knew quite a bit about the ancient ruins.

Fam Yuan also said that participating in the ancient ruins was not just the Thousand Swords Sect, but rather all the first and second-rate Sects were nearby and sometimes there were faraway Sects as well.

The sects that often participated in the ancient ruins were usually the First Class Sect which was none other than the Wind Dragon Sect, Bright Cloud Sect, Golden Lion Sect and Burning Fire Sect.

The Ice Heart Sect also occasionally participated but only rarely because they only had a few disciples, the Ice Heart Sect only had female disciples and had no male disciples.

There were also people from the Holy Phoenix Empire participating, the Thousand Swords Sect was also participating as well as other small and large Clans and there was also a Hall called the Empty Hall that was very domineering.

"Just calm sir, I will help you when you are in trouble and I will not always be with you for life" Fam Yuan replied with a smiling experiment.

"There is no need this time I will come alone because I have not been adventuring for a long time and make my whole body hurt when not moving" Rey said with a smile as she would train diligently to increase her strength.

Fam Yuan nodded then left Rey's room and disappeared quickly. Rey herself is now in her soul room and wants to practice in the soul room alone.

"Sir why are you here?" Bai Long asked who quickly knew of Rey's whereabouts.

"I want to train my Self-Defense Spirit" Rey replied briefly then looking at the huge blue Sword.

"Ohh yes Bai Long would I be able to learn martial arts if I was in the soul world?" Rey asked as she looked around the blue sword.

"You can learn it sir, but please note that you can only be in the soul world for once a week and it will take a few more hours to get back here" Bai Long replied.

Rey nodded then began to practice her Martial Spirit which was now moveable and seemed very domineering in every swing.

Half a year had passed since Rey trained in the soul world, now Rey herself had achieved excellent Martial Spirit mastery and had a very good understanding of the Sword.

Rey now stands in front of a very large mountain and very sturdy.in the world of the soul apparently there is a small world that is still like ancient times and there are many mountains.

"Heaven Splitters!!" Rey's shout quickly drew his sword and a sickle-shaped sword quickly split the mountain into two pieces.

"BOOM!!".

The explosion made the world quickly split in two and a very beautiful slash appeared.

"Happy master has understood your martial arts are getting more expert and very domineering" Praised Bai Long who approached Rey and smiled brightly.

"No this is only the second part of the Heaven Splitter" Rey replied then back to the soul world where the Sword was located.

"Alright I've been here for half a year, I need to go back to prepare for the ancient ruins" Rey muttered then out of the soul world.

Rey opened her eyes slowly, Rey was surprised to see Fam Yuan who was already in front of her and seemed very excited.

"What about the preparations for heading to the ancient ruins?" Rey asked while holding her chin.

"Everything has been prepared you can immediately see everyone who will participate in entering the ancient ruins" Fam Yua replied with a bright smile.

Half a year of Rey training herself, she now felt strong enough to fight against experts in the Divine Realm with the help of her Martial Spirit who had already been upgraded to Xuan level Six.
