As Gibran promised me a date tonight, at exactly 19:00 Gibran came to my boarding house in his car.
I didn't think this would happen myself. Suddenly Gibran asked me out on a date. It's impossible for a handsome guy like him to have no girlfriend, that's all I always ask myself.
I was ready with my clothes on, I met Gibran who had been waiting outside the boarding house.
"I'm ready, brother," I said as I watched Gibran busy with his phone.
Gibran looked at me without blinking. Is there something wrong with my appearance?
But one word I still heard from his lips though faint.
"Pretty."
"Sister Gib!"
"Ah, yes come on!" Gibran suddenly misbehaved, he first set his foot on the car and I could only shake his head smiling at his adorable demeanor.
I didn't know where Gibran was going to take me, his face showing impatience.
The car stopped at a cafe parking lot. Unfortunately, I did not see any visitors there. Is the food here bad? Why so quiet? That was the first one that flashed through my brain upon entering the cafe.
"Sister Gib, is the food not good? How come there are no visitors but us" I asked Gibran. Curiosity is so deeply enveloped that it continues to whisper to question.
Instead of answering, Gibran smiled and called one of the waiters who served there. Ah, why should smile anyway brother Gib, adek can not stand the bang, want to cepet dihalalin hehe
My heart is already roaring mischievously with deg-degan going on a date with Gibran.
Waiters is seen carrying a tray that is neatly covered with red roses next to him.
"Thank you Ma'am" Gibran said after the Waiters put Gibran's order on the table.
"Good to enjoy, I hope you like the dish" said Ma'am Waiters.
"Sir, why so quiet?" I asked very curious.
"Yes Ma'am, because this cafe has been booked with Mbak's girlfriend. Excuse me first," he resigned.
I looked at Gibran in disbelief. He's booked this cafe just for a date with me? Butwhy?
Gibran apparently understood the meaning of my gaze, he asked me to taste a dish in the cafe.
"Let me clear, eat first!" I nodded obediently.
"Try opening that one!" Pinta Gibran to me opened the lid that was on the tray.
I was gaping with my eyes glaring, I saw the diamond ring in a very special heart box.
"K-sister, I-this?"
Gibran got up from his seat and took the ring.
"Farah, maybe you'd be surprised to hear what I'd say, but seriously this is sincere from my heart, I like you Rah, will you be the future wife and mother of our children later?"
Oh God..
There is no happiness other than real hope. I looked at Gibran in disbelief, did he really love me? Replying to feelings I have had for a long time?
I nodded, "I want to!"
Gibran smiled, he put the ring on my ring finger. Continued by kissing my hand.
The breeze adds to the atmosphere of romance is increasingly felt. I don't want time to pass, I still want to be in the current position and time, when Gibran expressed his feelings for me.
I want to love you simply
with a word that cannot be spoken
wood to fire that makes it ash.
I want to love you simply
with a signal that the cloud could not deliver to the rain that made it go away.
Tonight my heart was made intoxicated with Gibran's romantic attitude.
"I've loved you for a long time, brother, since we were in high school" I said.
"really? Why didn't you say?"
"Well I said, did Brother Gib at that time want to accept it?"
"Oh, maybe not, because..
"Ayu's color, right?"
Ayu was Gibran's girlfriend back in High School. Ayu is a cute girl, it's only natural that many guys are waiting in line to be her boyfriend, including Gibran.
"It's all the past."
"So I'm jealous" I said a little annoyed.
Gibran smiled, "Now I only love you, and you are not only my girlfriend but my future wife. I'll marry you as soon as possible, if necessary next week," Gibran said, making me round my eyes.
"Where can it be so fast" I said in disbelief.
"Why not? Just say what the dowry is, I'm ready whatever it is," he replied.
"But brother..
"I want to get married next week!"
Gibran's words were so absolute that I could no longer negotiate with him.
The problem of love is sometimes a strange thing when it comes to young people who feel they are old enough, especially for a group of people who already understand religion, already istiqomah njai and reluctant to follow the mainstream with the culture of courtship. So no doubt if the topic of love becomes a topic that is quite sacred among them, as if the material chat and guyonan feels bland if this topic of love does not enter the discussion. As if there is a relief outlet when the conversation has led to the problem of love especially to enter the realm of marriage.
Indeed, when talking about love afdholnya is also talking about marriage. Wh why? Because that is how Islam teaches about how to treat the sanctity of love properly. Love without marriage is nonsense. “If you love please marry me!”, that is how we often hear from some people. They hold fast to the principle, “Someone who let her partner wait too long, only she does not love!”. From these statements can be drawn the conclusion that people in general are holding the rule of “marry loved ones”.
Loving people will tend to do anything for their loved ones and avoid things that trigger arguments, even if they are always there.
Whereas if women love more there will be the possibility to be cheated, abandoned, until used. According to some of these experiences, it turns out that many also claim that they feel happier after marrying the person who loves him after having a relationship with the person who made him crazy. Even so, you need to know yourself as well whether love really comes because it is used to apply to you all this time.
Although it sounds cliche but the statement that marriage can not only be based on love is true. There needs to be a logic used before deciding on this long-term commitment because it is not only about the matter of marriage itself but also about how to stay married. Well, what do my own Readers think? hehe
