Chapter 60 Sydney in Memory (1)

After being satisfied with the streets on Saturday, on Sunday Elena rested at home, so that on Monday she can move again in the office as usual in prime condition. Dimas and Redi are not in the office because they have to travel to Sydney, so Dimas' position at headquarters for several days is replaced by Arya, whose position is the deputy CEO.

On Monday the work was pretty tight. Because Redi is helping to accompany Dimas to Sydney, Arya becomes somewhat bothered with his work despite being helped by Elena and Cindy.

Dimas leaves early in the morning for the airport. Upon arrival at the airport, Dimas meets with Redi. Because he was used to traveling for service together, so the departure almost did not experience obstacles, because Redi was not afraid to take an airplane like Elena.

'But it's actually better to travel with Elena, because she's not as stiff as Redi. And she's beautiful and fun, so I never get bored. I should have received a female personal assistant just so as not to get bored like this, ' Dimas lamented in his heart.

But for Dimas actually having a male personal assistant is more effective than women. Like checking in at a hotel like this. Everything is taken care of by Redi, Dimas only knows it is in order. Actually if they have a female assistant they can do the same, but Dimas can not just give orders if with a female assistant.

Redi is also not the type who likes to walk let alone shopping. So if his day's work is done, Redi prefers to rest in his room until dinner time arrives.

The location of the hotel where Dimas stayed was close to the beach, so Dimas decided to go there. The atmosphere of the beach is so crowded, many people come there while waiting for the sunset.

Dimas breathed. He thought it would be fun and romantic if he could come here with a partner. Since the break from the entanglement of Diva, Dimas has not dated again. Suddenly he heard someone yelling at him.

"Hey, could you pass the ball, please!"

Dimas saw a beautiful woman wearing a pink bikini asking for a volleyball near Dimas to give to her. Dimas then helped pass the ball to the woman.

"Thank you"

Then he looked at Dimas closely.

"Are you... Indonesian?"

"Yes. You too, huh?"

Then they looked at each other. They felt they had met before, but they had forgotten exactly when. Friends of the woman then offered to join the play with them, because they were indeed short of one person. Dimas eventually agrees to play beach volleyball for a while until sunset.

Dimas played a team with the woman. They had fun, and eventually the Dimas team won.

"Include me, my name is Dimas" Dimas said as he extended his hand.

"My name is Viera" answered the woman, receiving Dimas' hand.

"Why do I feel like I know you?" Asked Dimas who felt some sort of deja vu.

"Maybe you do know me" he said, smiling with mystery.

Dimas was curious about the woman. Then he gave her his business card and offered to have dinner together. The woman said she would contact Dimas if he changed his mind.

In the evening, Dimas tells Redi to have his own dinner first because he has an appointment with someone, even though Viera had not contacted him at the time to tell him if he wanted to have dinner with Dimas or not.

Dimas had already gone to the restaurant where he was going to have dinner. He really hoped Viera would come. But after two hours of waiting, the woman did not contact him via cell phone let alone come. Dimas was disappointed.

The next morning, Dimas starts working with Redi. They will conduct a location survey because the company plans Dimas will open a branch office in Sydney. They were outdoors all day and had just returned to the hotel in the afternoon.

Dimas had no hope that Viera would contact him again, so he planned to eat at one of the seafood restaurants not far from the hotel where he stayed with Redi. The time was already showing at 8pm when Dimas and Redi started eating when Dimas' phone rang.

"Duh, again exciting to eat there is a phone gini like it doesn't fit really"

Dimas decided not to pick up the phone and continued eating. Redi who heard Dimas' complaint just smiled and focused on eating. Then Dimas' phone rang again.

"Have a moment, sir. Who knows how important it is" said Redi. Dimas then washed his hands and the ringing on his phone stopped, but soon rang back. Dimas squinted his eyes at the screen of his phone. Just an unnamed number, but it looks like an Australian code number. Dimas remembers Viera and picks up his phone.

"Viera's? Is this you?"

"Yes, you're right. Miss me?"

"Yes, I miss you. Where have you been?"

"Bussies. I suddenly had a job yesterday"

"okay"

"Still want dinner with me?"

"of courses. You where? I'll pick you up"

"No need. We will meet at the restaurant. I booked a place there"

"Okay, I'll be there right now"

Redi who was listening to Dimas' conversation on the phone just rolled her eyeballs. He was not surprised by Dimas's behavior. After this he will definitely stay so he will go home alone.

"Redi, I'm sorry I suddenly had an appointment with someone. You can go home by yourself, right to the hotel?"

"Yes Sir"

"Okay, if that's what I live for. If you are done, go straight home. I'm gonna pay for all this"

"Good, Sir. Thank you"

The portion of the food they ordered tonight was huge. Redi could not eat it himself, and Dimas had just eaten a little. Then Redi looked out and saw two homeless people who were asking for change to everyone who wanted to go in and out of the restaurant.

Redi then called the restaurant waiter and asked for help so that the remaining food was packed so that he could give to the two homeless people. After that, he walked back to the hotel.

The next day, Redi and Dimas resumed their work for the rest of the day. Redi does not know what time Dimas came home last night, but he was relieved that Dimas could still work with him, unlike his time in Singapore, like the story he heard from Elena when Elena and Dimas were on an official trip to Singapore.

It was already dusk when Redi and Dimas returned to the hotel. The plan is tomorrow morning they will return to Jakarta according to the travel plans that have been prepared in advance. And tonight Redi is back to dinner alone, because again Dimas has an appointment with someone.

Two days later, Redi returned to work as usual at the Loekito Corp headquarters. Yesterday morning he left Sydney for Jakarta alone.

After sitting down, Redi was immediately in the crowd of questions by Cindy and Elena who immediately approached her desk.

"Redi, where is Mr Dimas? She didn't come home with you?" Elena just silently listened while Cindy asked Redi.

"Russia, mba. Mr. Dimas extended in Sydney until an unspecified time because he himself did not say he would be there until when."

"Many more work, pity sir Knight. I'm afraid he's exhausted and sick."

"Hopefully nothing, mba. I'm here now and ready to help you." Said Redi steadily.

"Yes, luckily you don't follow the extension so you can help us"

"Yes, mba. Let's get to work because I have to catch up too"

"OK, ready" Then Cindy and Elena return to their desks.
