Chapter 78 Harja Sorrow

Arya has been back to her parents' house from before she went to Bali. His relationship with his father was still stiff and they always avoided each other. After a night of staying at the hospital with Dimas to look after Steven, Arya decides to return to her family home tonight.

After that Arya's mother informs the name of the hospital where her father's young wife will give birth, then Arya rushes to go there using her motorcycle which she named Lucky so as not to get stuck in traffic.

About 20 minutes later, Arya arrived at the hospital. He immediately searched the room where Astina and her future baby were treated and her family who were waiting there. After finding the place he was looking for, Arya's mother immediately approached him to speak.

"Thank God you arrived safely, son"

"Yes ma'am, so how's it going? Where's dad?"

"Astina is in a critical condition and she is bleeding. Must be performed immediately in surgery. Your father is inside accompanying you"

"so yeah... Where's Rido going?"

"The same Rido is being checked for his blood type because Astina needs a blood donor. It looks like Rido's blood type is suitable, but Dita's blood type is not suitable to be a donor. So it's less. For that, I asked you to come here because your blood type and your future sister seemed to be suitable. But it still has to be checked again by the nurse later."

"Yes mom, I'm ready. So now I have to go to which room?"

After checking, it turns out Arya's blood type is suitable to be a donor. He immediately did the donor and after completion he waited for the development of the process of giving birth to his stepmother. He still has not met his father who is still accompanying his stepmother. When it was time for surgery, Arya met her father because she had to wait outside with her family.

"What are you doing here? Don't tell me you want to make a mess here!" Ask Harja, Arya's father.

"I don't want to fight, Dad. You better focus on the safety of your son and wife"

After waiting for quite a long time, the whole family was actually surprised because there was no sound of baby crying from inside. Shortly after, the doctor came out of the operating room and called Harja.

With a heavy heart, the doctor told that Harja's baby who had been born could not be saved. They had tried their best but the baby boy did not cry, let alone breathe.

Doctors suspect there has been a problem with blood vessels in the placenta or placental abruption, where the placenta separates too early from the uterine wall when it is not yet time. This also causes Astina, Harja's wife, to bleed profusely.

Astina is still in a coma and does not know that she has lost her baby. Harja who felt very lost could not accept the sad news of the loss of her son. He even promised to sue the hospital because he was considered unable to handle his patients.

But Kusumaningrum tries to calm him down and advises Harja to focus on looking after his young wife. And finally Harja obeyed him. At about 10 pm Dita and Rido, her husband, came home. Arya also offers her mother to go home, but her mother still wants to stay in the hospital to keep up with Astina, so Arya also stays to accompany her mother.

While waiting for news, his mother would not eat at all. After several times persuaded by Arya, finally his mother wanted to eat even if only a little. Arya is really astonished by her mother who is very worried about her father's young wife, while Harja himself looks unconcerned with Kusumaningrum.

Throughout the night, Harja continues to accompany Astina in the VIP inpatient room. Arya also had time to ask her father if he had dinner, but his father instead told Arya to go, but he did not want to, so he prefers to accompany his mother outside the inpatient room because the others are not allowed to enter except Harja.

Early in the morning around 4, Harja felt Astina respond to his hand, but after that his condition even got worse. His heart rate almost stopped. Then Harja called the guard to take action. But after trying hard for about 30 minutes, Astina's life was not helped. The response from the grasp of his hand seemed to tell that he was saying goodbye with the baby.

Everyone mourns this sad news. Arya then informs Dita who is already at home. But Arya's mother was so sad that she fell unconscious. After awakening, he and Arya help Harja to take care of the bodies of his son and wife. But Harja refused. He contacted his personal assistant to take care of the bodies of the child and his wife in the hospital. Then he asked Arya and her mother to go home.

Harja is devastated by the death of his young wife and child. It seems that he still cannot accept and accept their departure.

Arya comes to the funeral with Dimas. Steven can't come because he's still recovering from a biopsy two days ago.
