Chapter 89 The Funeral of Steven and Jade

By midnight, Sylvia finally arrived. Mr. Rizwan, Steven's family lawyer came home a few hours ago. While adjusting her breath for coming in a hurry, Sylvia apologized to Steven.

"Sorry I came very late. This is beyond my estimation"

"It's okay Syl. But we have to hurry because we have not much time. I don't know how long it's gonna last"

Then Sylvia immediately took out her equipment. He was trying to save Steven. Then he started removing the syringe and injecting it into Steven's infusion device.

"Dims, this is not the time to think about that. We have to hurry to take care of Tev's cremation process. We don't have much time"

After Steven and Jade were cleaned and tidy, Dimas, Arya, and Hans, who were finally able to be awakened and immediately bathed and dressed, immediately brought the bodies of Steven and Jade in the coffin. Simultaneously, Elena finally regained consciousness and walked out of her room.

"We're going to the crematorium, Elena. We'll meet at the funeral. Mr. Rami's gonna take you to the funeral." Hans.

"What's? The crematorium? I mean Stevie's gonna be cremated, pi?" Elena who did not know about Steven's request became surprised and immediately protested.

"Wait up, brother, at least let me see Stevie one last time" Elena pleaded again. Arya looked at Hans and Dimas for their approval and finally they agreed. Elena cried to see Steven who, although his head was bald due to chemotherapy, still looked handsome. After Elena kisses her cheek, Hans, Dimas and Arya head to the crematorium to cremate Jade and Steven's remains.

After that, one of the ARTs at Steven's house told Elena that he was entrusted by Dimas to prepare for the funeral. Dimas has also prepared all-black clothes on the bed. Elena thought it was a bit strange because Dimas had prepared everything as if he knew that Steven was going to die in the near future.

The cremation process that only Hans, Dimas, and Arya should witness according to Steven's mandate, takes approximately two hours. Jade's cremation process takes place faster than Steven's because his smaller body size makes the process go faster.

Sylvia shows up moments later and helps Hans, Dimas, and Arya take care of Jade and Steven's remains. Hans had prepared two name-labeled urns to store the remains of Jade and Steven.

After the cremation process was complete, the four of them breathed in relief and continued on their way not too hurriedly to the burial ground. The plan, the bodies of Jade and Steven will be placed in the same burrow, next to the tomb of Almarhumah Helen - Steven's mother according to Steven's request.

Before leaving for the funeral, Hans, Dimas and Arya took the time to change their clothes because the smoke from the burning process of the corpse was still attached to the clothes they were wearing.

After learning of Steven's death, Emily immediately contacted her mother who after a fight with her papa had disappeared to relieve her emotions. Meilinda finally shows up at Steven's funeral. Emily also contacts Aldo, who is out of town but immediately books a plane ticket to come to Steven's funeral. Because the distance from the cremation place to the cemetery takes longer than 3 hours, making Aldo had time to come to Steven's funeral.

Most of those who came to Steven's funeral were crying. Dita and her husband Rido, as well as Lili who had been considered as her own sister by Steven, also came to take Steven to his final resting place.
