Gia kept crying. Intentions want to help, it becomes troublesome. Even now he's the one who got Lexy shot.
"Don't cry" that's what Lexy kept telling Gia all the way to the hospital.
Arriving at the hospital, Lexy was immediately taken to the emergency room. The doctor immediately hinted to perform the operation.
Now, Gia is with Jack sitting in front of the operating room. Gia still regrets her mistake.
"Sister, Uncle won't do anything, will he?"
"It's going to be okay," Jack replied to Gia's encouragement. Gia was like a little brother to Jack. Initially, he was assigned to guard Gia while Gia was in college. But since Gia graduated, she was assigned to be Gavin's personal assistant.
Gavin comes with Dad Chris to the hospital.
"How's Lexy doing?" ask Dad Chris.
"He's been shot, he's in surgery" Jack replied. Gia just looked down and was silent.
"Are you okay, baby?" ask Dad Chris to Gia.
Gia just nodded her head. To be honest, he was very scared at the moment. He was afraid that Dad Chris would scold him, but Gavin even scolded him.
"What do you think of Gi until you do that? how dare you go after Lexy," said Gavin.
"I know I'm wrong, but if I don't, I don't know where Uncle's going."
Gavin let out a rough sigh. Gia slips into Dad Chris' arms and hides his face in Dad Chris's chest.
Mom Clara came soon. He just finished visiting Anna. Mom Clara is also very worried about Lexy, because Dad Brandon, already considers Lexy as his son. He didn't want anything to happen to Lexy, because Dad Brandon would be in shock.
It's been almost 3 hours, but the operation hasn't been completed either. The longer Gia got more agitated, she felt chaotic at this moment. He doesn't want to lose Lexy.
The door to the operating room finally opened, a doctor came out,
"The Lexy Smith family?" call the doctor.
Dad Chris got up from his seat, followed by Gavin and Jack. While Mom Clara accompanied Gia who was still agitated. He was afraid to listen to the operation.
"The patient is safe. We managed to remove 2 bullets lodged in the back of his body. Fortunately, it did not hit the vital part. After this we will transfer the patient to the ward. You can wait for him there" said the doctor.
Dad Chris and the others breathed a sigh of relief, "Thank you, Doc."
The doctor left them. Gia who heard it could breathe a sigh of relief. A round of tears fell in the corner of her eyes, she was relieved and happy Lexy survived.

"What exactly happened?" ask Dad Chris to Jack.
Jack who saw Gia was at the bedside Lexy finally invited Dad Chris to get out of the room.
"I don't really know, but from what I caught, Gia went to follow Uncle Lexy who left secretly. Once he gets there, he sees Uncle Lexy and Mr. Joe getting involved in a fistfight with the men who kidnapped Mr. Joe."
"Where is Mr Joe now?" ask Dad Chris.
"It looks like they brought him in again because when I got to the scene, there was only Gia and Uncle Lexy."
Dad Chris sighed harshly, "What exactly do they want? Jack, you call Han, ask him to call Mr. Ken."
"Good, Sir."
Jack leaves the hospital to see Han. Dad Chris went back into the room. She sees Gavin and Mom Clara sitting on the sofa, while Gia sits beside Lexy's bed.

Gia fell asleep while sitting next to Lexy. Lexy who was beginning to wake up, opened her eyes. He realized that Gia was sleeping beside him.
There's nobody in that room. Slowly, Lexy raised her hand and rubbed Gia's head.
"Uncle, Uncle is conscious?" Gia held Lexy's hand.
Lexy smiled at him. Lexy could see the fatigue in Gia's eyes and she knew that her little girl was crying because her eyes looked so swollen.
"I'm fine Gift. Why do you cry like that?"
"I'm scared."
Lexy smiled back.
Gia immediately hugged Lexy, putting her head on Lexy's chest.
"Uncle, I'm sorry. Because I'm Uncle so. I'm afraid I can't see Uncle anymore."
Lexy felt a warmth seeping into her heart, she rubbed Gia's head again.
"Uncle doesn't blame you. I know Gift, you're just worried about Uncle."
Gia lifted her head, looked at Lexy, then she wiped away the tears on her face.
"Have not cried again, you look ugly if you cry" Lexy said as she held Gia's cheek.
Gia held Lexy's hand which was holding her cheek, then she slightly lowered her head.
"Uncle, I want to apologize, about .... "
"Kiss?" Lexy laughed too.
"Uncle teasing me?" Said Gia with a reddened face mixed with embarrassment.
"No, Uncle just asked. Did you like that kiss?" lexy asked with a smile.
"Uncleee!!!"
"Come closer" Lexy asked.
Gia thought that Lexy wanted to whisper something to her, so Gia brought her ears closer.
When Gia's face was near Lexy, Lexy slowly brought her face closer to Gia's face. No matter what happened, Gia felt her heartbeat move very fast, as her face could feel Lexy's breathing.
Slowly, Lexy kissed Gia's cheek. The touch of Lexy's lips on Gia's cheeks instantly made Gia's face red.
"Uncle?" gia said as she held onto her cheek that Lexy had just kissed.
"Uncle just gave you back your kiss that time. We're even, right" Lexy said with a laugh.
What Gia was feeling right now was not anger, but rather warmth in her heart. Gia still continued to hold her cheek, while looking towards Lexy.
The warmth in Gia's heart became fuller, until now filled her feelings and thoughts. Without thinking, Gia approached Lexy and immediately touched her lips to Lexy's.
Gia is not a woman who is good at kissing because when she kisses Lexy, it is indeed her first kiss. After he kissed Lexy, he raised his head slightly, with the face looking at Lexy and their eyes locked together.
Slowly, Lexy held onto Gia's head and brought Gia's face closer to hers. He drew closer and then touched his lips on Gia's lips, very gently.
Warmth and tenderness filled the hearts of the 2 people. Gia really felt it all in her heart, as did Lexy. He had never kissed a woman, and Gia's kiss had become an opium to him.
