Mary scratched her head hard. Making the ponytail hair that was once neat now messy. He glanced to the right. The crowded streets. Many cars passed by on the road
end to the bridge. His feet continued forward until he arrived at the mouth of the bridge. What if this bridge collapses? Of course all these vehicles will fall and he….
DRRR….
Mary's mobile phone shook her wild imagination. He saw the name ‘Mario’ on his phone screen. Mary did not immediately lift it, she sighed heavily while clenching her hands before preparing to lift the call from her brother.
“Ha...hello?”
“Mary!” Greet her brother who looked carefree. “How? How?”
Mary hush. I want Mary to silence Mario's mouth and throw away his curiosity. There is no harm in asking the results of the University entrance test to his sister, but the behavior of Mario who
that enthusiastic look weighed a little on Mary.
“Hhh...The announcement will be just a few hours ago,” murmured Mary in the heart while slightly rolling her eyeballs that clearly looked dark brown.
“Reply reply, it's already night. I want to sleep!” There was the sound of a pillow that Mario embraced.
“Yyaah. That's”
“So? You're accepted?!”
“Mm..ya..”
“Good wits!” Mario's call made Mary decide to be quiet and not continue talking. Mario sounded
so happy. He also did not forget to give advice to his sister who was only younger that year. Mario told her to work part-time, dating, welcoming party 20 years, and so forth that he seemed to often do.
Mary's mouth smiled small. He was happy to hear the voice of the brother he missed. They haven't called each other in a long time like this. Since their father who lived with Mario died
world, Mario is busy taking care of himself until he forgets that he has a sister who lives far away in the land of people with mothers who choose not to take care of him anymore.
“Hei,” Mario disperse Mary's daydream again. “you're okay ‘kan? Sorry I haven't been able to see you,”
“Already..” Mary calms her brother who feels guilty seeing his sister trying to live.
self-contained. “I'm used to being alone, remember?” Mary replied as if reminding her sister that one night suddenly her mother brought another man home with some suitcases of money and left not to return. “Tak what. Your place is also far.” Continue with strong.
After a few conversations, Mario fell asleep. Mary had to turn off her phone first. He shook slowly. A little sorry that he had lied to his brother. Yep. Mary was rejected outright on the University of Arts entrance exam. I don't know what's wrong. School in art High School did not make it through to the number one art university in the city.
“Hhhhhaaaahhh Mary took a deep breath while looking to her left. The view of the river complete with orange twilight also seemed to look at him. Mary daydreamed for some time today. He was confused as to what he should do after this. Does he have to do part-time work? Enroll in college again? Les in various places? Or just kill yourself like that guy?
“Oh!” Mary rounded her mouth to look at the man who was a little far away from her. The man who looked almost the same age as him bravely sat on the bridge handler who looked slippery.
Mary rushed to him. “What did he do? What if it falls? Or... she was on purpose?”
He was now behind the man. The man's back showed that he was staring at the sky. “Pe..excuse me,” foolishly Mary greeted the man who was about to jump from the bridge. The man turned his head, removed one of his earphone cables. “a. Stop it!” Snapping Mary, then she looked around. There was no pedestrian other than him. There were no cars passing by either
stop to stop this reckless man.
The man looked at Mary with a slight smile, while Mary was busy tidying up her hair
covering his face with the wind. “Do not do that!” Excited again. “I will
call police!” Mary held up her phone. “This is not the end of everything!
Don't surrender! Just think again, if you..”.
“Halo?” The man seemed to receive a call through the earphones he was wearing. “Be...really?!” his eyes widened, the man looked shocked by what his interlocutor said. Still holding his right ear, the man said he would leave soon to see the caller. He immediately moved to change position and stopped sitting on the edge of the bridge. “Hey, help me.” He said, to Mary.
the slippery ones made the man seem like he was about to fall. Mary who was holding her hand was also attracted until her body hit the handle of the bridge. Mary screams in shock. Now the two hang on this pedestrian-only bridge.
“Toloong!” The man screamed in fear, in stark contrast to his pretentious action earlier. Mary also asked for help. The river that looked cold and deep was now ready to occupy it. His slippery hands made him despair. I want him to curse at that guy. If only Mary hadn't done some heroic stunts on him.
“Hhhh..hh....” The man's breath is wheezed. He has now managed to save himself because of his arm
his strong and agile legs can move quickly.
The man extended his hand. I'm gonna go get Mary to help her up. But what power. Mary's slippery hand forced her to let go of that tight grip.
BYUURR!!
Mary fell into the river.
It all went dark. Mary unable to open her eyes, she began to feel the cold water soaking her body.
“I'll die.” Mary thought in her last seconds. But his mind seemed to be wrong, for now he saw a bright light. Very bright.
Mary looked around, so crowded in that ‘tok’. A place so bright with so many people gathered. All looked confused, some were crying, some were examining his body by touching it as if in disbelief. Mary followed in the direction the men left. They looked like they were waiting their turn. No one talks to each other. So did Mary. Now he has to face the ‘creature’ in front of him.
“Mmm.” Looks a tall creature in white robes and –of course-shining bright is reading
big map. It seems like a report. “Ah, suddenly once,” murmured. “hei!” the figure called out to someone again who this time was wearing a black suit and black pants complete with his black tie. The figure approached. “He's not dead yet, is he?”
“Yes, My Lord,” replied the wearer of the all-black suit. “but he had already fallen into the river and drowned. So what can I do, his death will speed up.” Answer's relaxed. Judging by his figure and
the power that he has, apparently the figure dressed all in black is the Lifesaver.
“Tu...wait a minute!” Mary Excited. “What is this?! Me where?! You're who?! Why does it decide my life and death?! And again, I was helping people who were going to kill themselves!” He continued long, looking up because the figure looked very high.
The shining white robe was as if it was common to face a human like Mary. People who do not believe in his death. A man who does not accept his destiny.
“Ya already,” he closed his big map. “as usual, give him a mission first. There are already too many curious ghost spirits here.” His words made the Lifesaver nod slowly. Now he opens his black book.
“You received a mission from ‘Langit’. You must finish it within three months.” The Lifesaver read the writings in his book.
“Hah?!” Mary half in disbelief. “ka..if not?”
“You'll die”
I want Mary to protest to all these strange creatures here. But what power, because this is business
alive and dead, Mary chose to accept it. “A..what is the mission?”
“You should make this ‘target’ happy and achieve its success. They were all filled with negative aura. If they all die at an undetermined time, I'll bother.” Definitely brief. Mary still can't believe it.
"What does that mean? How's it?" It was like he was asking all those questions, but the Lifethrower had pushed him slowly and made him drift away from him and from
human queue.
“Oh!! He's conscious!!” Mary opened her eyes slowly. The flashlight disturbed him. He wakes up and
looking around. He is now on a police boat complete with lifeboats, and two moody policemen who are likely to drown him a second time.
“You okay, Miss?” The policeman shook his body slowly.
