That night in The Hit a faint sound could be heard of the voice of someone who was talking in the pantry. It was Jay and Mary. Mary sipped her warm coffee while leaning leisurely on the table.

“Finally..welcome yes,” Mary repeated the sentence again. He congratulated them many times on their appearance on TV in a few days.

“It's also thanks to you, Mario,” Jay replied shyly. “Hhhaah.

we.” Jay stretched his body a little. “Good work,”

Jay's words made the pantry atmosphere quiet. Mary is reworking Jay's sentence. He's been there a month. Means it's been a month as well as the time he spent for ‘save’ BEYOND and his life. Now this target will step towards success. But is that the right move? Will this move make ‘misi’ Mary successful?

“Mario?”

Jay bent his face to look at Mary. Shocked Mary. “You why?”

“Ah.. eumm. ti.no.” Rebuttals. Then he scratched his head trying to change the topic. “This

about Justin..”

Jay seemed interested in Mary's new topic. He watches his story. Stories about experienced

Justin. The story of Justin and his girlfriend and also his dream.

“Ah.. the child.” Jay shook his head softly while smiling at the story Mary was worried about

Justin.

“Ck...Why does PD Bane forbid you guys to date anyway? ‘Kan Justin is so sorry. They can't either

feel the sweet SMA love story..”.

“Haha, it's a risk, right?” Jay shrugged both shoulders.

Mary nodded, sign ‘right also’. “You're the closest to him, any suggestions? Justin will be busy after this. Until can't meet Jane,”

“Mmm...It's time they ‘part’, yes?” Jay seemed to think. He held his chin and stared

ceiling. “I don't like sad parting.”

Mary really wants to know who Victor really is. He remembers the news that stated that

victor's house burned down about two days after the graduation ceremony. The news was told again by her friend when Mary attended a class reunion held three days before some male students in her class chose to enter the military, the time span between that reunion and Mary's graduation ceremony

that's about six months.

“Who spread the news?”Mary thought as she set her feet on the gravel path, the umbrella she carried was dragged to make a noise. “Why did Victor who could run away and live in Jimmy's house just shut up with the news spread? Why didn't he try to tell his friend that he was alive?”

“Excuse me.” Mary entered a small grocery store near where Victor was hit yesterday. His hand was still holding the paper containing Victor's home address.

An old mother walked out while rubbing her wet palm onto her cloth pants. “Yes?

What do you want to buy, young man?”

“Ah no, aunty. I want to ask you an address.” Mary brought her body closer and read the contents of the paper.

The shop owner's mother immediately rounded her eyes and took Mary out of the store while pointing at the building in front of her. It was a ground with bricks on it. The mother said that the house there had just been torn down and would be rebuilt into a building that would be used as a store on it.

“The house was burnt to the ground, so the landowner just knocked it down.”

“Burned?” Mary scrunched her forehead. Aunty's story is increasingly the same as Victor's.

“Iya. The house contained a family without a mother. One night, the house burned down. He said the whole

family members die in it.” The mother ruffled her waist while trying to remember the incident, her eyes narrowed like a blaze in front of her. “Ah no, no, no!” The mother lashed Mary's arm. “There is a strange, young man!”

“Surprisingly, the police only found one old man's body inside. He did not find any family members

the others!”

“Indeed how many family members are there?” ask Mary to keep this mother going on with her story.

The owner of the butcher shop and the fruit shop on his right-hand side joined in. Without feeling the conversation they were attended by several mothers.

“Iya! One woman and one man!” a mother with her dormitory replied. “This case

pass that. Mary walked away after saying goodbye to all the mothers who turned out to be quite a lot. He went down the alley that had a makeshift lighting. It was time to pick up Justin. The sky looked cloudy, Mary was grateful she had brought an umbrella.

“Argh!”

Suddenly someone pulled Mary's collar and smashed it into the concrete wall beside her. Too strong a collar grip made Mary short of breath.

“J..Jimmy?!” It was Mary who saw Jimmy was being rude to her. The umbrella he had brought

falling and somewhat rolling, but the most severe is the grip of Jimmy's hand that does not escape from Mary's collar. “Se..sak! Release!” Mary pushed Jimmy hard. Jimmy's bouncing back a little. “Uhuk! Uhuk! Uhuk!”

“I know you're going to do this,” Jimmy is closing in on Mary again. “I'm asking you to stop.

Now too!” Jimmy pushed Mary until she fell onto the hard asphalt.

“Jimmy! You!” Mary is of course emotional. But suddenly the rain began to fall spatter by speck as if

relieve Mary's emotions. Mary then ran away and cleaned her hands.

“Back to The Hit. I have to pick up Justin,” Mary's orders in a limp tone for not wanting to

fight with Jimmy again.

“No! You will definitely come back here!”

Mary looked at Jimmy while shaking her head. Wonder. Jimmy was stubborn once for protecting

her best friend. “Serah.”

Mary walks to Justin's school with Jimmy following behind. Mary tried to be friendly and

invites Jimmy to walk beside him, but Jimmy refuses. Mary is now like the man who carries her shadow.

“Jimmy? You coming to pick me up?”

“Already, don't mind him,” Mary immediately pat Justin as soon as she finds him in front of the gate.

Mary walks with Justin and Jimmy, who is still behind them. Justin chose to remain silent and not interfere in the affairs of the two men.

“Hey, Jim,” Mary looked back at Jimmy. The movement of his head indicates that Jimmy should be under the umbrella with Justin. Let Mary walk behind them. Jimmy answered Mary's body language with a slug. Jimmy tried to cover his wet head with both arms raised above his head.

“Ckckck...” Mary shook her head in annoyance. He saw Jimmy who only wore the shirt looking wet and cold. He then told Justin to hold an umbrella. Mary took off her jacket. “Nih”

Mary stretched out her jacket and put it on Jimmy's arm. Mary hopes Jimmy uses it as a rainblock even though it's not as effective as an umbrella.

Mary then ran towards Justin and took shelter under the umbrella, holding the algae umbrella

any more. The umbrella was directed at Mary to cover Justin. Mary's left shoulder looked wet. But he let it go, the important thing is Justin the new idol, this is not wet. Mary felt a little cold as the rain started to crack her white t-shirt. Justin who was not aware of it kept going while playing

game on his phone.

“Ah!!” Someone shouted from behind them. Mary and Justin turned their heads. “Justin! Look!” Jimmy pointed at the street in front of Justin and made Justin look forward again.

Jimmy put Mary's wet jacket on Mary's body. Mary looked at Jimmy confused. He's silent.

“Yes!” Mary was suddenly shocked. Her face flushed. “Jimmy saw it!” Mary exclaimed inwardly when she realized that Jimmy saw the bandage that Mary – wore to cover her chest, visible from behind her wet white shirt.

Jimmy remained silent. Her face flushed. Mary then covered her chest by crossing her arms in front of her chest. “K.you...seen it?” Ask Mary to make sure again.
