"Where are you going?" A tight grip on Nina's wrist caused the woman to slam into the chest of the handsome man who forced her hand when she wanted to escape.
Nina thrashed, her tears dripping with fear. "Please please don't take me back to the village. They're gonna kill me." He cupped both hands in front of his chest pleading with great.
"Are you villagers used to prejudge people? Who wants to take you back to the village? I'll take you home. Your body is so dirty it should be cleaned. Is this how you thank me after a good meal?" The man spoke so long that Nina could only silence her lips.
He was silent and obediently followed where his body was pulled by a handsome man who claimed to be the owner of a jacket on his body. The two rode a car drove to a housing that was not so magnificent but fairly very nice and luxurious. Nina repeatedly moved her head back and forth looking at every corner of the building in front of her. Much different from the appearance in a simple village only capitalized with spacious buildings only.
"Hurry in." Kevin's orders firmly.
Nina obediently followed him into the house. In the living room he was greeted instantly by a middle-aged woman wearing a beautiful house dress. Her face is beautiful and beautiful despite her age. Nina silently looked back not knowing how to say hello.
"Who is this, Vin? How pretty?" asked the middle-aged woman who turned out to be the mother of the handsome man.
"Mom, I put him in here for a while. I need to get back to the forest. After I get home, I'll explain." After saying that, Kevin also pulled the coarse jacket that Nina was wearing. Nina quickly took off the jacket and gave it to the man.
"Kevin, be careful." Nina's reflexes spoke with a voice that sounded so funny.
Hearing that Kevin only paused for a moment turning his head and stepped away again
"He's the guy like that. Let's take a shower and rest. Em...previously introduce me Sekar his mother Kevin." said the woman reached out.
Nina softly replied to that hand by saying her name. "Nina Anjelin, ma'am." she said.
The two women of different ages seemed to walk towards the room and Nina immediately cleansed the body. After taking a shower, he received treatment from the woman.
He pulled Nina's hand back. "It should be cleaned up again soon. Look at a lot of shit in your wound."
That day Nina was accompanied by Sekar talking in the guest room. Sekar continued to approach Nina as if curious until finally Nina told her how she was brought Kevin to the city. But only that is limited. Nina did not tell him the thing that happened to her that caused the father of her wrath.
"You're so big of a problem that you want to kill your own family?" tanya Sekar was concerned to hear Nina's words.
Lirih Nina shook her head. "Not really, Mom. It's just that my family is the one who upholds honor. That's why even mistakes we don't make can get us killed if it concerns us. And lucky Kevin and his friends want to save me." said Nina was grateful even though her life did not know where to go.
"You are very beautiful and gentle." praise Sekar who admires the figure of Nina in front of him now.
The two continued to talk to each other until finally it did not feel the night was getting late. Sekar asked Nina to rest as well as herself who also wanted to rest at this time.
"Kevin didn't come home, Mom?" asked Nina curiously.
Smiling standing in front of the door. "He didn't know when he was coming home. Later when it is finished the work well go home alone." said Sekar.
"Then what about me?" asked Nina who remembered Kevin's words before leaving to explain to the mother until she came home.
"Maybe he wants you to accompany mom here who is alone just the same servant. Let me not be lonely." Although it feels awkward but Nina feels happy if for a while she gets a place to live with a good person.
Finally, the door of the room was closed, Sekar headed to his room and Nina lay down her body closed her eyes. Before falling asleep the shadow of the face of the man who helped him in the dark of the night with a face full of scribbles only their two eyes looked at each other. So sharp and fascinating.
