Chapter 12: The Test of Persistence

Elyra smiled mysteriously, hinting that their adventure had just begun. "You have to pass tough tests to prove your ability and determination. Only by passing these tests will you understand the secret of this temple."

Ardi's eyes sparkled, filled with enthusiasm and determination. "We're ready to pass those tests. Show us the way, Elyra."

Elyra nodded. "Let's follow me, adventurer."

He led them through the hallways of the library and towards another space that was no less majestic. There, they saw a series of radiant portal doors opening in front of them. Each door brings a picture of a different world.

"Each portal door leads to a different world of exams" explains Elyra. "You must pass three tests to prove your persistence and wisdom."

Valen frowned. "What's the first test, Elyra?"

Elyra smiled faintly. "The first test is the test of courage. You will enter a world where danger and fear abound. But you must stand firm and fight against fear."

They chose the first portal door and were suddenly thrown into an unfamiliar world. Dark forests and strange creatures challenge them, testing their courage and quick reactions. In a fierce and tense battle, they protected and supported each other. Large trees and thick fog became the backdrop around them.

Strange creatures they had never seen before appeared from within the shadows, launching a surprise attack. Ardi, Valen, and Aria must fight tenaciously against the creatures, using their skills and fighting skills to deal with the threat.

Valen, with the arrow and bow in his hand, moved nimbly. He pointed sharp arrows at the creatures meticulously. Every arrow he released hit the target with a deadly speed. He jumped up and grappled with some of the approaching creatures, using his shrewd martial skills.

Aria, with the magic wand in her hand, manipulates the magic elements beautifully. He unleashed a burst of magical energy emanating from his staff, destroying the creatures with his magic power. His magic attacks changed the course of the battle, creating opportunities for his comrades to attack.

The battle became more and more intense, and the creatures did not give up just like that. They counterattack tenaciously, trying to overcome the courage and skill of Ardi, Valen, and Aria. The battle was swift and action-packed, accompanied by the sound of colliding weapons and magic gliding through the air.

However, with great teamwork and unwavering perseverance, they finally manage to overcome the mysterious creatures. The creatures one by one fell down, and the dark forest began to calm down again.

Their breaths were wheezing, and sweat was running down their faces. But with a smile of satisfaction, they knew that they had overcome the first exam successfully. Upon seeing that all the creatures had been defeated, they developed a mutual attitude of encouragement and cheering celebrating their victory.

After a grueling battle, they saw a bright light at the end of the forest passageway. They continued to walk forward and finally came out of the dark forest. Elyra was already waiting there with a proud smile.

Tired but feisty smiles adorned the faces of Ardi, Valen, and Aria. They know that this adventure has proven their determination and courage, and they are ready to face the next tests on their way to the secrets of the ancient temple.
