Chapter 13: The Test of Inner Strength

With vigorous steps, Ardi, Valen, and Aria returned to the room where Elyra was waiting. Their faces were filled with excitement after successfully overcoming the test of courage. However, as his gaze turned on the other luminous portal door, they felt a tense tremor in the air. Elyra stepped forward firmly, hinting that it was time for the second exam.

"What's the second test, Elyra?" valen asked curiously.

Elyra smiled mysteriously. "The second test is a test of inner strength. You will enter a world where you must overcome your own doubts and uncertainties. Only by finding true inner strength can you continue on this journey."

They walked towards the second portal door and stepped into a different world again. This time, they were in the middle of a beautiful and calm forest. The birds chirped merrily at the branches of the trees, and the sunlight shone on the colorful flowers.

However, in the midst of that beauty, a disturbing question arose in the minds of each of them. They feel doubt and uncertainty about their abilities. Are they strong enough? Can they handle this test? Elyra pointed towards a bridge that crossed a small stream.

"The bridge leads to a cave hidden behind trees. In the cave, you will meet challenges that might shake your confidence" said Elyra.

With determined determination, they walked over the bridge and entered the dark cave. The dim moonlight illuminated the cave passageways, creating mysterious shadows around them. They felt a tremor of tension that grew stronger as they stepped deeply into the cave.

As they reached the last room, their eyes looked at a large mirror standing in the middle. However, their faces reflected in the mirror were not as usual. Their faces looked weak and doubtful, reflecting the fear and doubt in their hearts.

"This test of inner strength will test the extent to which you can overcome the doubt and uncertainty in yourself" said Elyra. "You have to stand in front of a mirror and face yourself. Only by finding true inner strength can you overcome this test."

Ardi, Valen, and Aria looked at each other doubtfully. However, they know that this is part of their journey to success. With a deep breath, they stood in front of the mirror and looked at their reflected faces.

Their gaze shifted from the look of their doubtful faces to the memories of the past. They see moments when they manage to overcome difficulties and challenges, moments when they help their friends, and moments when they feel proud of their achievements. "I'm not strong enough" Valen sighed, feeling the pressure within him.

"I don't know if I can continue," added Ardi, feeling doubt in his heart.

"Am I capable of being a true hero?" aria thought worriedly.

However, as they looked at each other's faces and looked at the mirror with firm determination, the dark light slowly began to dim. Their inner strength grew stronger, overcoming the doubts and fears that crept within them.

"I know I'm strong enough" Valen said firmly, feeling confidence in himself.

"I will go on and not give up" said Ardi, feeling a fierce determination.

"I am a hero in myself," Aria said excitedly, feeling the confidence growing in her heart.

The mirror finally emitted a bright light that filled the cave. The light brought out their true inner strength, defeating the darkness of doubt and fear. With the mirror now reflecting off their determined faces, they knew that they had successfully overcome the test of inner strength.

They returned to the outside of the cave with steady steps and a face full of confidence. Elyra greeted them with an appreciative smile. "You have overcome the second test brilliantly. The inner strength you find within you is a priceless asset."

A relieved smile and a burning spirit adorned the faces of Ardi, Valen, and Aria.
