“Can't!” sambar Ethan with high intonation, his body walked forward. The expression on his face was implying dislike. “Why are you so determined to join us? Your presence is unwanted, from the beginning we never asked for your help!”
Melvin remained silent, seemingly reluctant to respond. While Lyman came forward to calm Ethan who began to ignite emotions.
“I know we are all suspicious and uncomfortable with his whereabouts. But without Melvin's help, we can't do this ritual. Meanwhile, if we stay strong arguing and do not find a way out of this problem, then our time will be wasted,” explained Lyman to give an explanation.
I agree with Lyman. Regardless of what purpose and purpose Melvin would like to join us, in this condition we need his help. After the ritual is done, we will split with our respective goals.
Because I think Melvin has other goals, he can't possibly have faith in magic and fantasy worlds. But I don't know, all I can think about right now is wanting to immediately meet a cloaked man in order to transcend the other world.
“Know this I can invite others. Why go with that fool? I really don't want to!” as Ethan said, his body turned back, his legs kicking in the wind to channel his frustration.
Magani. “Don't be selfish, Ethan. I know you hate him so much. He has done a lot of noise and repeatedly consciously hurt you. But for now we all have no other choice. Believe me, we can all guarantee that Melvin will not mess around and hurt you again.”
I walked closer to Ethan, wanting to persuade him without trying to corner him. “Come, Ethan.” I pat her shoulder softly. “Only for this time only, okay? We will make as much distance as possible so that you are not approached again by him.”
Ethan snapped a coarse breath, the brown hair covering his eyebrows he ruffled at a glance. “Ah, yes you have. How else would you like? But if this ritual works, I don't want him to keep following us. The point is he is only allowed to help to complete the ritual event.”
After making a mutual agreement, Melvin was finally allowed to join. He was already approaching and mingling with all of us, Lyman started making dots and also pairing threads on the ground that formed a star formation.
Previously, Lyman knew about what steps to take besides forming a star formation, Lyman told us to look for colorful pebbles buried or hidden around the field as a form of requirement that must be met.
In the spacious back garden of the school, which was only a stretch of dead grass and was filled with dried leaves from old trees that were estimated to be hundreds of years old, the atmosphere was very gripping. It was like we were on a horror movie set.
Over 10 minutes we were all looking for the colorful pebbles that Lyman asked for. It is quite difficult to look for it because it is like looking for a needle in a haystack, because dead grass piled with dry leaves makes us difficult.
“Do we have to cast a spell?” I asked Lyman who was busy putting the colorful pebbles we had been looking for before, he put them in the middle of all of us.
“According to the instructions in the book, we must chant a chain spell. So each person had to say a word of two spells, then directly spliced with the other,” Lyman explained, he had already entered into the formation.
It starts with Lyman, Ethan, Magani, me and Melvin. With each other connected by a line of connecting threads, our bodies are adapted to the formation in order to form stars through the help of connected threads.
We all stood at each of the points Lyman had prepared, the distance between our bodies was quite far. And the gentle breeze made a void within the distance that stretched out made us shudder occasionally.
Lyman started telling me what to say. After the briefing and everything understood, finally the summoning ritual of the robed man will begin immediately.
The atmosphere suddenly became more tense after everything began to close their eyes, Lyman muttered long spells first. I just listen, until later to talk when I'm on my part.
“Under the shade of the universe, we came. In the free space that intervenes, we ask. To you immortal soul with invisible body, let us see. We invite you, if you agree then please come to us,” Lyman said in a voice that was too slow, but still heard among the whistling wind.
“Ti siamo, omo in tunica.” I remember, when Lyman had said this sentence, the chain spell was ready to begin.
“Dento pino di koragio ti siamo.” Ethan continued.
“Veivei, siamo conte.” Magani's part was spoken, I started to ponder to speak.
“Opriamo cost korpo.” Finally the sentence was spoken, although previously my mind had blackened fear of my tongue sprain when saying the strange sentence.
“Koste repiro e perte,” closed Melvin, a chain spell that somehow means we have done together.
Before Lyman gave the cue through the sound of a snap of a finger, we were all forbidden to open our eyes. I don't know what's going on, but the wind is blowing more than twice as fast as before.
My eyes were itching to see what was happening, but Lyman first reminded me of the ban. He warned that whatever happened should not open his eyes, let him stay in place until the time comes to open his eyes later.
The sound of the old gate rusting from being moved by the wind, was so loud in the ears. If I don't remember Lyman's ban, I'd love to banish the sound by clogging the ear holes.
And suddenly...
BOOM UP!
The sound of a terrible explosion was so thunderous, out of nowhere the sound of the explosion, I was just worried that the school guards could hear it. Before long, Lyman began to give a warning to walk forward while stretching out both hands but still with his eyes closed.
I could feel my hand touching another hand, and it must be Lyman and Melvin's. The distance between our bodies was already close to each other, and we started holding each other.
In the darkness that enveloped, I tried to keep holding my legs together so that I could keep treading and stepping on the ground. A strong wind impulse, like wanting to lift this body and bring it to something that has been trying to attract since.
“Slow down, let's open our eyes!” tell Lyman, his voice is intentionally high because the wind that blows almost muffles all the sound that enters the ear.
And when my eyes had opened perfectly, it would have been a shock when the first thing I saw was a man with a super-high body about two meters above standing in our midst. When my head looked up, the man in the dark blue robe had no face, aka empty.
The hood that covered his head while hiding his face, only showed a flat, pitch-black appearance without any face shape plastered. I blinked, a little creepy.
Did the summoning ritual we did succeed? And the man in our midst is the real form of the cloaked man we were so eager to meet?
“Call and surrender accepted.” He spoke, his voice like a giant that I knew where I had heard his voice. Echoing like a rumble in the rain.
We all looked at her figure unblinkingly, not paying much attention to what she said. As his body moved, shifting to show what he was behind, our eyes shifted to look.
Glowered. My mouth opened wide as my heart rate increased. It turned out that the strong winds that were trying to blow away came from a black hole that could suck up anything.
And suddenly the force of the wind to pull our bodies felt stronger, so our defense almost collapsed. Just being able to hold on to each other, trying to ward off the wind currents that kept trying to pull us in.
“No need to hold. That black hole will take you to a new world. The world you need to explore and find out for yourself how to survive. The call cannot be canceled, then everything that is waiting for you there must be faced,” he explained.
As the wind currents grew more and more unbearable, one by one our handles came off. Magani who had screamed had to fly first into the black hole.
All I fear is one. What will we feel when we enter the black hole? Is it the same as in the movies; that the body will be destroyed unceremoniously? Then maybe the intention of the cloaked man is that we will die and be reborn in a new world.
