Advice from a Close Friend
"I'm pretty glad you're looking after her, Ri. Although Dandi is a jerk, as a fellow man I know, this time he really wanted to change. Then, mending you marry again with Dandi."
Two women in the same place, showing the same reaction, heard the words of the only man there. "You're saying Rianti is like that, Pah? Do you know what Rianti's story is with that guy?" tiwi asked in a voice that was quite loud because it was so shocked by her husband's words.

"Ri, if you keep thinking bad and don't want to open up, you can never marry until you're old."
Although it sounded cruel, what Agus said had a point. Even scathing criticism is sometimes needed for someone, not to hurt, but to spur people to act or behave better. So too with Rianti. During his stay in this small town, no one is free to pay attention, criticism and so on except Tiwi and her husband, to make Rianti comfortable in the past.
