THREE MEN AND THEIR PAST

THREE MEN AND THEIR PAST
Father And Daughter

The happy news brought by the three men was of course very warmly welcomed by their respective families. They even directly discussed the marriage that must be implemented immediately. Given the age of the three men who almost set the age at twenty-eight years, so all family members agreed, the wedding should take place immediately.

Happiness is also currently being felt by each woman. They can regroup tonight with the people they miss. Although they have no intention to stay back in the house, but at least the relationship that had been severed has now been connected again. They enjoy their night by sharing stories again until bedtime arrives.

Geck! Geck! Geck!

"Well asleep, son?" said someone in a slightly quiet voice after knocking on the door of one of the rooms.

"Not yet, Dad, just go in, not locked," said someone from the inside.

The door opened and a middle-aged man smiled as he entered and stepped closer to his son. The man smiled and looked at the little boy who had fallen asleep in the bed that the man was sitting on. "Your son is already big, Mbi," said the man who is none other than Arimbi's father.

Arimbi then smiled as he rubbed his son's hair. "As you can see, Reyhan is growing up well, Dad."

The man breathed his heavy breath. "Sadly, I didn't attend and watched over this one of my grandchildren."

Arimbi suddenly turned his gaze to the man he respected so much. "It's okay, Dad. What's important is that now I can see my grandson to adulthood."

The man then changed the direction of his gaze to some photos stuck on the wall. "I'm sorry, son. I really made your life suffer."

It was the same night, but in a different house.

"Can papah come in?" asked a middle-aged lung man after knocking on the door of the room and heard a speech from inside the room indicating that the occupants had not slept.

"Just in, Pah," said the occupant of the room while directly sitting from lying down. As soon as the door opened, the man smiled and stepped closer to his son who had just returned to occupy the room. He sat on the edge of the bed where the girl was. "What's up, Pah?"

The middle-aged man smiled. "It's nothing, son. Talk to you" replied the man. But instead of starting a conversation, the man was silent while looking at the photo of his son on the wall.

Papah gasped and spontaneously returned his son's gaze. But it did not last long, because after that, the man lowered his head. "Is your Uncle in good health?"

Eliza smiled and approached her father. The woman sat next to the man. "Of course it's very healthy. Uncle Iksan is a strong man, Pah."

The papah smiled. "When he was sick, when he was a kid he was very lazy."

"really?" eliza asked with sparkling eyes. His heart was quite happy when Papah said that. Eliza knew that her Papa must have missed her sister too.

"Maybe because Papah used to be angry with him because he liked to waste money, so he was angry and we ended up fighting. Though Papah meant, Papah just wanted to advise him."

Eliza smiled and then she threw a question to the Papah and unconsciously the man told her past with his uncle.

Still on the same night but in a different place too, a man also asked permission to enter the room of his son who had just occupied one of the rooms of the house. The child was quite surprised when the old man he called Papah asked permission to enter his room and the child invited him to.

Not sleeping yet, Ri?" asked the Papah as he sat on the edge of the bed where his son was. The awkward atmosphere immediately felt, as the father and son had never sat together like this in their entire lives.

"Never, Pah," replied the child who was none other than Rianti. "Is there a need for Rianti?" ask the child in a soft voice.

The man smiled as he looked at the photo of his son wearing a toga shirt. "It doesn't feel like time is passing very quickly, and you're already a mature woman huh, Ri."

Rianti smiled. "Yes, Pah," that's all Rianti used to say for now because he was confused about what to say.

The Papah then lowered his head and sighed deeply. "I'm sorry Papah, Ri, all this time Papah was really never fair with you."
