TMP - Chapter 20 - Threats To Aaron

Aaron frantically began to look for a suitable hiding place. He jumped into a dry bath and closed the curtain, but seconds later he felt it was not a safe place to hide. His eyes fell on the closet.

"Go first. Don't let my Papa beat you to pieces" Anna whispered as she tried to let go of Aaron's hand clasping one of hers clasped secretly.

"But darling," whispered Aaron with an unwilling facial expression.

"Go away. We'll talk on the phone, yes" whispered Anna, trying to persuade the man.

Having no other choice, Aaron reluctantly removed his hand from Anna's hand. His head shrieked even more when he saw the fierce face of his lover's father.

After Aaron left, Bella was able to breathe with great relief. "Finally, the brengsyek man left as well."

Bella looked at the God of Hope who had now changed back to its original form. "I'm really very grateful to you. If you hadn't come in time, Anna's body would've been tainted by the deworming man."

"There is no need to thank me, because it has become my duty. In every mission you run, you are entitled to 1 chance to press the emergency button, and that's when I will come to help whatever you need" he replied. "I suggest that you leave this place immediately. This place is very unsafe for you because it is close to where the man lives. If something like this happens again, then sorry, because I can no longer come to help you. Your chance to ask for my help through the emergency button will only be available when you go on your second and third life missions. Well, that's even if you manage to complete your first mission in time."

Then in the blink of an eye the tall-looking man's figure disappeared without a trace before Bella.
