TMP - Chapter 33 - Finding Mistakes

Hawei Basement Room Group.

Anna and Kay get off the same car, while Alex gets off his own car driven by his personal driver. As soon as he got out of the car, Alex immediately stepped wide towards the special elevator leader while being escorted by two personal guards. Anna and Kay ran after him and followed behind him until the five of them entered the elevator.

Arriving on the floor where her third room is located, Kay immediately showed a work desk for Anna who faced directly with her own work desk. It is located right in front of the President Huang's room which is separated by a large glass wall.

"Kay!" call Alex as soon as he's in his big chair.

"Yes, President."

"Give him these files and reports." Alex pointed to a file map that piled a lot on top of his desk. "Have the new secretary work on it, when it's done give it to me."

"Good, Sir."

"And you, represent me to meet Mr. Keenan to check out the Mars hotel we're going to acquire next month" he said.

"Ta-pi, President. Do we have to let Anna's secretary complete all this work on her own without being mentored? He's still very new" asked Kay a little worried, afraid Anna made a mistake and ended up being scolded all out by Alex.

"Leave it. I want to see how smart your secretary of choice is, to the point that you're willing to risk your career just to get her into this company."

Alex's words successfully made Kay difficult to swallow. Not knowing what else to say to defend himself, let alone Anna who he clearly knew that Alex hated him so much.

"Ba-well, President." Kay lowered her head politely and took the stacked files and she took them and placed them on Anna's desk.

"Call me if you want to ask me something or are having trouble. The president is giving me another assignment outside, so I can't be here to accompany and help you finish all this work" Kay's assistant whispered.

Anna nodded with a smile. "It's okay. Surely your duty is no less important than this?" Anna pointed at the pile of maps with her eyes. "You just calm down, don't worry. I'll call you right away if I need your help."

Kay also nodded back while smiling. "Yes, then I go first." Kay patted Anna's right shoulder gently before leaving. "Spirit!"

"Yes, spirit," Anna replied. "Be careful!"

After Kay left, Bella stared at all the files piled up in front of her. The job that he missed so much over the past few months can finally be re-worked with the same position as before, namely the secretary of the company's president Hawei Group.

Bella's Spirit. You should impress President Huang on Anna with your work. Inner Bella, encourage herself.

Meanwhile, Alex sits leaning back in his great chair while waiting for his new secretary to finish the task he just gave her.

When Anna was focusing on her work, suddenly the phone on her desk rang, without lingering she immediately picked it up.

"With Secretary Anna Harold, can anyone help?" he answered after sticking the phone in one of his ears.

"Get into my room and bring all the files with the report you've finished checking and working on. I want to see it" Alex said.

"Well, President," said Anna, putting the phone back where it should be.

Just be careful if he gets to work on it carelessly. I'm sure I won't let him stay here beyond 1 week. Inner Alex.

Not long after their phone connection was cut off, Anna immediately entered Alex's room with a stack of folders in her hands. Alex who saw that instantly frowned.

He's not playing games with me, is he? How could he accomplish such a task in just 2 hours? Alex's inner self was inexhaustible and did not believe in the ability of his new secretary.

As she recalled, only Bella's secretary was able to get the job done quickly and neatly, without making the slightest mistake.

"Please check first, President. If something is still wrong and needs to be fixed, tell me to fix it again" Anna said after putting the files on Alex's desk.

Cih, from the way he spoke, he was like a professional secretary only. Alex muttered inwardly as he looked at the new secretary with a petty look.

Alex began to examine file after file, report after report that Anna's secretary had just completed. What he expected was actually a mistake made by the supposed secretary, so that he could vent his frustration on the girl. But unfortunately, after Alex checked as many as three files and reports, he did not find what he hoped for.

Kay smiled back as she placed a medium-sized paper bag on Anna's secretary desk. "Then you won't have to bother ordering it anymore, because I already bought it for you."

"Well, thank you so much, Assistant Kay. You're very kind" said Anna smiling happily.

"Together." Kay did not stop smiling, then glanced at Alex who seemed to be focusing on examining the files that Anna had completed. "Oh yeah, did President Huang scold you?" ask her in a whisper.

Anna shakes. "No. I won't let him scold me" he replied, laughing.

Seeing Anna who was so cheerful even though her work piled up made the man laugh with relief. "It's great of you, huh? Oh yeah, I can help you, so we can go home early tonight?"

"Of course, a lot" he answered and laughed again.

Apparently, Alex was secretly watching the two. He was getting inflamed seeing the interaction between his assistant and secretary that looked so close and familiar.

My suspicions are right. There was no way a bar-bar girl like her could work with a becus without being helped by someone. Apparently it was true that Kay had helped him. What do you think, all this time Kay who secretly taught and guided him so that he could replace the position of Bella. Inner Alex.

At half-time 9pm, the work given by Alex was finally completed without any mistakes made by Anna's secretary. It certainly made Alex's mood so bad, because he could not vent his frustration on the girl. Especially when he saw Kay driving the girl home, the more annoyed he became.

"What exactly is the relationship between the two of them? Why do they look so close?" murmured Alex spoke to himself. But he quickly dismissed that thought. "Ah, for what I take care of their business. If they have a special relationship, it means I no longer have to worry about the bar-bar girl going back to teasing me like I used to."

Meanwhile in Kay's car.

"Is there really something I want to ask you?" said Kay, focusing on driving her car.

"What's that?" asked Anna curiously.

"Actually, where have you been all this time? I've been to your apartment a few times, but I've never met you. I asked some of the residents there, but no one knows where you're going."

Bella is confused, not knowing what to answer Kay's question just now. It was impossible for him to answer the truth to the man. That means, he will break the rules set by the God of Hope, and he will definitely get punishment from that god. What form of punishment? Bella couldn't guess either.

"Did you deliberately go skinny on someone in order to take the place of Bella's deceased secretary?" ask Kay. Once upon a time, Anna used to say that she was very envious of Bella's secretary and wanted to be like that woman in order to be close to Alex at all times.

"Thank you for worrying about me, my friend" Anna said with a laugh. However, his expression instantly became flat after he looked out the car window.

Just so you know, Kay, your worries are true. Anna committed suicide because of a broken heart.
