TMP - Chapter 44 - The Beloved Secretary

Alex rubbed his face violently. "What have I done? Why am I getting so out of control when I'm around him?"

Alex dropped his ass on the couch, then turned his head to the ceiling of his room. His memory soon returns and his memories are shared with his beloved secretary, Bella.

The flash back

That night Alex and Bella attend an invitation party from their business partner.

"President, I beg you, you've been drinking too much." Bella tries to remind Alex of the umpteenth time by whispering, but it seems the man is still ignorant. "President, please. If you pass out here, I really can't take you home" he said, trying to persuade the man.

"Leave it. I don't care" Alex replied. Now the man has even drunk a drink from his bottle directly.

Who told you to make me angry and jealous, Bella. Tonight I will definitely not let you go home to meet that brengsyek man. Inner Alex.

Apparently, during that time, Alex accidentally caught Aaron, Bella's husband who was very much loved by the woman had an affair with Daisy. Alex tried to tell him but Bella didn't care. She even said in front of Alex's face that she loved her husband Aaron very much and would not allow others to mess with the harmonious household they had been building. That's what made Alex angry. For years she tried to harbor her feelings for her secretary because she knew that Bella had a lover until she was married. But now that Alex knows that the man Bella loves is not a good man, Alex decides to stop giving up.

"President, please don't be like this. Don't embarrass yourself in public" whispered Bella. To be honest he himself felt extremely embarrassed as almost everyone was staring in their direction. The condition of Alex who was heavily drunk certainly attracted the attention of other guests who were there.

"President, let's just go home, shall we?" persuade Bella while trying to get Alex out of the party with great difficulty. With Alex's tall and large posture, of course, makes Bella quite difficult to bring the man out of there to the parking lot.

Meanwhile, Alex quietly opened his eyes slightly staring at the back of Bella who was walking out of her room. Apparently, the man was pretending to be drunk. It turns out that she did deliberately kiss Bella in her fully conscious state.

Alex smiled wryly as he touched his own lips. "If it wasn't by pretending to be drunk, I'm sure, you would be very angry and hate me."
