There was a knock on Randy's door that woke them both up. The knock gets louder every time the person at the door hits him. Fara is shocked to see how late they both are and wakes up, it's 9am and Fara is still in Randy's bed.
Fara bets Randy that the person at the door is Amanda.
Randy immediately put on his robe and tidied his hair. "Don't move," she said convincingly and Fara nodded her head, as if she was very brave when in her heart it fell apart.
Fara is afraid that if the man is the amanda who then finds her in her fiance's room, fara does not want to be "a surrogate mother behind the blanket along with another woman's fiance".
Fara can't say that hiding behind a blanket while Amanda is alone with her fiance is exciting.
Fara had always imagined what if Amanda would pounce on her in the near future, even until now. Randy was still at the door and had no idea what was going on, nor could Fara hear anything under the thick blanket.
After a while Fara hears Randy's door shut tight, Fara quickly opens her blanket to see if he actually leaves. Luckily he's gone and so is Randy. No need to waste any more time in her room, Fara packed all her belongings and returned to the room to change clothes.
As Fara bathed, she was unaware of the chaotic situation that was happening outside, until Fara finally asked the waiter beside her before filling out all the details. Fara's mouth agape at the news, as it turns out the protesters opposed to Randy's release learned that he was no longer in police custody and had already been released.
They had moved their location here to pressure him into confessing his crimes more. Randy had just issued an order that all workers should go home before noon to avoid them getting involved in his mess, he also said that every meeting with the doctor, family visit, shopping, work or anything that requires them to leave must be postponed.
Randy considers Fara and has made preparations for Fara to leave as well, he does not want Fara to be part of it despite Fara's voluntary desire to stay, Randy is worried about the baby inside Fara coming out of him within two months.
Fara packed her bag and was very ready to go but in style waited for Randy to come and say goodbye to Fara personally, there was no hope for that to happen while he was still busy talking to his lawyer. The only people who hugged her were Ella, Alena's parents, Mallanda and a little bit of Amanda, they barely even touched each other.
Revan was the one who drove him. To cover up the silence between them, Fara thought of bringing up a conversation that had never been talked about before, but Fara was a bit scared to see her reaction especially since they almost never talked to each other for almost a month, there was always a greeting in the morning at breakfast but that was it.
Fara doesn't even know that Revan is staring at her while looking for a way to start a conversation, Revan voices that if Fara wants to say something, Fara should talk instead of just staring. He had absolutely no way to speak now.
"Randy didn't do it" he said for no reason, which made Fara wonder what he meant. Fara thought long before finally coming to her senses.
"Um???. No, no, no, I know he didn't do it, he already told me and I trust him," he said
Revan gave her a "since when have you guys been close to trusting her every word to each other? he didn't say anything about it. If that's the case, tell me what's bothering you, you're looking at me like there's something important you want to tell me" Revan looked at Fara after the car stopped at a red light.
"Alright, but this has nothing to do with what's going on, this may not be the right question, but I never really asked what your job is, meaning almost everyone knows you here..." Revan cut off Fara's conversation.
"Randy's legacy?, does that mean you didn't inherit anything?" Fara's question may sound disrespectful, it would be better if she kept quiet instead of always trying to know all the time.
Revan chuckled but Fara did not find anything funny.
"Well, I think it's time you found out the truth, me and Randy might be brothers but we just had a blood relationship through our mother, our father was different"
Fara's jaw was agape at the sudden answer, Poor Revan, it must have been very torturing to her.
"Ella, my mother fell in love with my father, they were dating but they couldn't get married because my mother's father never supported them. Even they were preparing to marry Randy's father when he found out that she was pregnant with her child, I was raised with a lot of lies, she said, I just found out a year ago when Grandpa died and put all his money away for Randy."
When she finished talking, Fara was crying so much, the story was so emotional that made Fara remember the burly man Ella was sleeping with, there was a possibility Ella still loved Revan's biological father. The most painful thing for Fara is imagining Revan sleeping and thinking that he is part of a family that never wanted him, and waking up only to accept the harsh reality. It was Fara's fault for bringing it up.
"Are you crying? Wow, I didn't expect my story to be that sad. I'm going to take the route even further, I heard there's a road construction across there"
Fara sighed while wiping her tears. He had to completely refrain from crying every time he heard a sad story.
Arriving at Fara's mother's house, Revan helps her get things off the car. After he finished, he waited in the car to say thank you, but the atmosphere became a little heated.
He starts by saying how much he has considered his feelings and is even very aware of his growing relationship with Randy, in the midst of all this she said that she could not hold back her feelings for me anymore without wasting much time, Revan wrapped both her hands around Fara's waist before moving slowly to kiss her, Revan, as Revan's lips touched hers, Fara did not allow her to kiss, Fara turned her face away and let her lips fall on her cheeks.
She understood perfectly and cupped Fara's face, "i hope we can both finish it," she entered the car before turning on her engine, "I'll call you," she said before leaving.
Fara sighed imagining being in the middle of two brothers who were in love with her,
when Revan's car is no longer visible, fara goes into the house to rest because she is tired and her mother is still busy watching her favorite cartoons and is not wanting to talk to Fara.
