“Miranda?” the reprimand of the baritone voice made him turn his head and be surprised.
A handsome, tall, well-groomed man in a neat suit is now in front of him. “Mas Damian,” hisses in disbelief when he saw his ex-husband was there. Even Sandy who was by his side, was just unmoved not understanding who that man was. He only felt confused because his employer called another man by the name – mas.
There were no sharp and annoyed gazes from the radiance of the man's eyes and face. Miranda only saw a shady, gentle look the same as before, when the two were still in a happy household, before leukaemia claimed Agatha's life.
There was no grudge in Miranda's heart. It was a long time after her divorce with Damian was over. He was completely sincere and forgave the man. However, that was not what surprised him. He was only confused by the presence of the man in Indonesia.
The smiling man further eroded his distance with Miranda. “You, how are you Miranda?” tanyakanya.
“Ba–baik.”
Damian smiled wryly, realizing the nervous look of his ex-wife. I don't know if something has scratched his heart. That's what Damian feels now.
“Mama!” call Misel half yelling towards Miranda. The boy immediately hugged Miranda, looking as both of his pigtails moved along with the movements of his body.
Miskel looked towards Damian. “Who's name is he?” tanyakanya.
“Emm this–”
“If he's a bad guy let Miesel call Papa,”.
Eva approaches Sandy, her eyes encoding the question of who the man is. But Sandy just nodded.
“Then call Mr. Miko. I don't want to be blamed if something happens,” pinta Eva. Sandy rushed to get her phone.
“Not darling... Nope. He's this..”
Damian looked towards Misel. The child was so beautiful, the look on her face was a little similar to that of her late daughter – Agatha. Probably because her mother's genes are the same. “She's your daughter?” ask Miranda, which made the woman nod.
Damian bent his knees and looked at Misel. “Hallo, sweet sister. My name is Damian, you can call me Uncle Damian. This uncle is his friend Mama Miranda,” he said as he reached out his hand.
Mikel looked at his mother, and Miranda nodded, until she returned Damian's hand.
“My name is Misel, Uncle,” reply.
The man was satisfied, seeing Misel was like treating longing for his late daughter. Had it been good, he might have pulled Miskel into his arms. However, since it was the first meeting, he couldn't possibly be that sassy. Moreover, looking at the gaze of Misel who looked so afraid of him. “You are as beautiful as your Mama,” praise Damian as you look at Miranda, who makes her turn her face away.
“So, Mama's friend is not just Mommy and Aunt Alena?” misel asked, his hand adrift on Miranda's fingers.
Miranda nodded. ”Ya darling.”
“So, what is Mas Damian doing in Indonesia?” he asked Damian who was now standing in front of him.
“Vacation."
Miranda nodded, trying to understand even though it felt strange, as the man continued to stare at her.
“Take your nyari,” he continued making Miranda quite surprised.
“I? What's wrong?” miranda asked astonishedly pointing at herself. “I didn't bring anything. When out of your house, it was Mas.”
“I know,” sela Damian. “However, that's not why I'm looking for you,”.
Sandy and Eva were still worried, the two did not dare to do anything, because Miranda had signaled through her hand to be quiet. However, Sandy who did work for Miko, of course everything that happened with Miranda was never separated from her report. He tried to call Miko, but never picked up. He finally chose to send a message with a photo of Miranda.
Damian tried to look around, like he was looking for something. Until his eyes stopped at one of the cafes not far from his reach.
“Can we talk to each other for a while over tea,” bargain.
“Why not just here,” Miranda said.
“Come, this is very important,” urged Damian to beg.
”I can't if it's just the two of you, because I'm a married woman too. It would be very inappropriate if until my husband's friend saw that I was alone with another man,” Miranda replied.
Damian was silent, looking at Miranda. His focus was shifted to the woman's hand which was rubbing her protruding stomach. “So, you're married again?” he was a little surprised.
Miranda nodded. “Iya. And now I'm pregnant with my husband's child.”
“Back with Alby?” tanyanya guess.
Miranda chuckled, then shook her head. “No! My relationship with my ex-husband has indeed improved, but that does not mean we have to refer to it. Our relationship is purely that of Misel's parents, the rest are just ordinary friends. And we already have a couple of each.”
A happy glow on Miranda's face. The happy hue he had seen when Miranda was still with him. Before then he often fought over the disease suffered by Agatha.
“Ya already then you can take your daughter,” bargain Damian later.
Miranda nodded. “Not only my daughter. I will also bring my two friends,” he said turning towards Sandy and Eva.

“So, what important things do you want to say, Mas?” ask Miranda.
Currently they are in one of the cafes that Damian had been to. As Miranda requested, there was Miskel, Sandy, and Eva. Although Damian actually feels uncomfortable, but what can be done. He can't force Miranda. He should respect Miranda's decision.
“This is why I want to apologize to you, Mir.”
Miranda looked at the man for a moment, then smiled faintly. “I've forgiven you, Mas. I never hated you at all. Our household problems are over, all pure indeed it is our destiny is not a match.”
“Thank you."
From the sentence spoken by Miranda, immediately Sandy and Eva understood who the man who was in front of his master.
“Can I tell you honestly that I regret divorcing you. After our separation, I felt very lonely. I thought what if we were still together. Previously, I intended to return to Indonesia to look for you, other than to apologize. I also want to improve our story.”
Damian's sentence made everyone on the table surprised, except Misel who was busy with ice cream in her hands.
Miranda shook her head, “That's impossible,”.
“I know, Mir. It was just my thinking when I didn't know you were married. You know me, as bad as I am. There's no way I'm taking someone else's wife. By getting sorry from you I was happy, my heart was relieved. I feel like one of my burdens is lifted. And I can enjoy the rest of my life in peace.”
“Sisa live?” ask Miranda.
Damian nodded. “Iya Mir's. I mean–”
Bugh!
Suddenly a bump landed on the man's body.
