Unexpected Love
CHAPTER 22

Arriving at the dorm room, Shifa rushed to clean her body. Zainab, impatient to hear Shifa's story of what happened today, was waiting for him on his bed next to Shifa's bed.

“You've eaten yet Shif ?” asked Zainab who saw Shifa who had just come out of the bathroom.

“Hehe not yet Zai,” while smiling towards Zainab.

“Then let's eat first,” invite Zainab.

“You've cooked ?” ask Shifa.

“No,” reply Zai briefly.

Hearing Zainab's reply, Shifa furrowed her eyebrows wondering what Zai was saying.

“So, want to eat wear what Zai ?” shifa asked in a soft tone.

“Hehehe... You will like toast kan Shif, so eat bread plus warm milk must be delicious. I made you yes. What jam do you want to wear ? Chocolate or Strawberry, Rasberry, Pineapple, and Nut ?” ask Zainab at length.

Shifa simply shook her head while slightly smiling. He already understood Zai's nature and mannerisms which always made him smile.

“Hemm... We only have Chocolate and Strawberry Zai jam,”.

“Oh yes heheh. Yasudah then Chocolate aja yahh let you happy,” said Zainab who walked to the dining table in the kitchen to prepare dinner for Shifa.

Celine and Zano have arrived at the Black Wolf's wish. As Zano walks towards her room, Celine wants to ask what happened with Shifa on campus.

“Kak Zan,” call Celine.

“Hmm ?” zano.

“So you can tell that Shifa is on campus ?” ask Celine curiously.

“Insting,” Zano reply briefly.

“You’re lie,” said Celine who does not believe in Zano's answer.

Zano simply smiled without saying anything and walked towards his room.

“Hish.. What the hell is the same about Zano. Lately I've seen him a little bit strange,” Celine said speaking to herself.

Marcel who saw Celine had come home to him and heard Celine's last words.

“Home home ?” ask Marcel.

Celine turned her face towards Marcel who was walking towards her. As usual Celine did not answer Marcel's words.

“As usual, you never answer me,” said Marcel.

Celine who was still curious about Zano looked at the stairs leading to her cousin's private room.

“Makesure, you think that your cousin has been a little weird lately, right ?” marcel.

Celine who was surprised to hear Marcel's words turned her gaze towards Marcel's face.

“Where do you know ?” celine asked in a curious tone.

“Eat him, you don't cuekin I mulu Cel. Missing info, right?” marcel said, mocking Celine who was beside him.

“Ih... Cepetan reply !” celine's orders.

Marcel simply smiled gleefully without answering any questions from Celine. Celine who was furious saw Marcel's behavior hit Marcel's arm many times.

“Jawab no ?” threaten Celine.

“Iya-iya pardon Mr. Putri.” said Marcel.

Celine stopped her blow.

“Okay, well.. Before I answer, you should make a promise,” said Marcel.

“What ?” ask Celine.

“You don't ignore me anymore and you promise not to tell Zano if I tell you about this info, how ?” ask Marcel.

Celine thought for a moment and then agreed on what Marcel was asking for.

“Okay...” said Celine in a firm tone.

“Okay deal yes Cel.. Be careful if you do not keep your promises,” threatened Marcel.

“Iya-iya. Now, what's that info ?” ask Celine.

“Actually, that Zano seemed to be falling in love,” Marcel whispered into Celine's ear in a soft voice.

Celine, who could not believe Marcel's words, snorted in annoyance.

“Hishh... Impossible,” said Celine to surprise Marcel who was standing next to her.

“What is Impossible Cel ? Bener Zano is falling in love,” said Marcel reassured.

“As you know, Zano's brother has never been in love before. I stress, never liked any girl,” said Celine still in disbelief.

“You don't realize what ? Every time Zano meets two of your friends, the mood changes. Hadeh Celine's.. Said you ever falling in love but still not sensitive as well,” said Marcel while shaking his head.

Celine thought for a moment after hearing the remark from Marcel. Celine recalls the events when Zano met Shifa and Zainab.

“Yes too yes. Why have I not been aware all this time, but the question is, brother Zano likes Zainab or Shifa ?” celine said in her heart.

“Hey..,” Marcel's remarks startled Celine and spread her mind.

“Marcel, I want to ask you. Sis Zano likes Shifa or Zainab?” celine said loudly.

“Shifa,” reply Marcel.

“OMG... Though all this time..” said Celine in heart.

“Celine looked at me?” Marcel wondered in his heart.

A few seconds of silence ensued between Celine and Marcel. However, Celine realizes it, turns her face away from Marcel's sight and leaves the man she loves.

“Malah went..,” said Marcel who saw Celine leave him alone.

In the dormitory Shifa was having dinner accompanied by Zai at the dining table.

“Shif,” call Zai.

“Iya ?” ask Shifa.

“You why can go home with brother Zano ?” ask Zai.

“Oh it.. This afternoon at college, I was freaking out about Zai. I didn't realize it was 5 p.m. When I was going home, it suddenly rained. So I plan to wait for a while in the campus courtyard until the rain subsides. But, it turns out I just realized Zai, the campus is very quiet, there is not a single student or staff who berbatu there,” Shifa explained.

“You didn't meet Arka's sister ?” ask Zai.

Shifa shook her head.

“No Zai, when I delivered the documents in the lecturer room, Kak Arka was not there,” said Shifa.

“Then ?” ask Zai.

Shifa recounted the incident again while chewing the food in her mouth.

Shifa who heard the explanation from Zai just kept quiet and continued eating.

Shifa who chews her food justifies the speech from Zai. Suddenly Shifa remembered something.

“Zai,” says Shifa.

“Ya ?” answer Zai.

“It turns out Arka's brother recognized Zano,” Shifa said.

“Created ?” zai said with a surprised expression.

“Iya. When brother Zano picked me up at the college, they met,” Shifa said.

Zai seemed confused because he did not understand Shifa's words.

“Means how Shif ? Last time you said brother Arka was not on campus?” ask Zai.

“I was shocked by Zai.. Turns out Arka's brother has not come home,” said Shifa.

“Then ?” zai asked seriously listening to Shifa's story.

“Kak Arka was one generation with Zano when they became students,” said Shifa.

“Then we ask Celine,” said Zai.

Shifa finished her meal. After she washed the dishes, she sat back down on the dining table chair and continued her story.

“Btw... One more thing I want to ask you Shif,” said Zai.

“What is Zainab ?” answer Shifa.

“Nothing happened between you and brother Zano ?” asked Zai hesitatingly.

Zainab was afraid that her question would offend Shifa.

“You mean how Zai ?” said Shifa who looked confused at her best friend's question.

“Begini..,” says Zainab.

Zai's tone of voice turned serious.

“Tadi, when you haven't cleaned up. I smell a perfume that is familiar to me and I just remembered that it was the scent of perfume Kak Zano,” said Zai.

Shifa who heard the words from Zainab recalled the incident she had with Zano on campus earlier this afternoon.

“Shif,” call Zai.

Shifa's face looked red and turned sad after hearing Zai's words.

“Shifa.. You okay ?” asked Zai who suddenly felt worried about Shifa.

Shifa who was just silent and daydreaming for a moment.

“If I tell Zai, I must be very embarrassed and. I know also brother Zano must have been accidentally too. But even if it's just a hug, I don't think it's normal. I have to answer if Zai,” Shifa spoke in heart long enough.

Zainab breaks the Shifa reverie. Zai knew that Shifa was confused as to what to answer.
