CHAPTER 9

"Oh My God," Sean sighed harshly. "I don't have anything up there, and there's no way I'm sleeping on the floor without a single bed, at least lend me your couch" Sean said, bringing his face closer. Kiran closed her eyes, was she preparing to be kissed? Why did Kiran close her eyes? He is losing his mind. Your eyes should stay open Kiran!

Sean was silent, he did nothing. And now he's holding back his laughter. The girl did not want to be kissed but when Sean's face approached, Kiran closed her eyes instead. Is he going to say his body is betraying him?

"Open your eyes, what do you expect by closing those big eyes" Sean said with a tickled chuckle. Now he was laughing out loud until his body was shaken on the sofa. Sean held onto his stomach which felt a little pain from laughing too hard.

Kiran gawked, her mouth slightly opened and she felt very stupid now. "Stop your laughter or I won't lend you my couch" Kiran threatened with embarrassment.

Kiran fanned her face with both hands. His face was red like a tomato. He just wanted to go to the sea and jump in there. Let the cold water resuscitate him who has been acting so foolishly!

"Well, I'll stop laughing, but why did you close your eyes? You really want me to kiss?" chuckles Sean.

Kiran was just silent, she was cursing herself in the heart. "Of stop talking about it, or I'll really make you go to hell!" pekik Kiran's.

"All right, I'm gonna stop talking about it, but I want to say something and this is honest," Sean's words sound very serious and not just a joke.

Kiran glanced at Sean a few times. What strange atmosphere is being created now? There was a tension of its own that Kiran was feeling. Like talking about something that instens that can make the heartbeat becomes more fast.

"You're doing it again, ckkckck," Sean clucked.

"Do what?" ask Kiran who feels she didn't do anything wrong.

"Just shut up, not responding, when people are waiting for an answer you should say something," Sean sighed harshly, "this awkward situation makes me feel like I'm doing something embarrassing," connect Sean.

"You're overdoing it Sean, say you said you wanted to be honest, right?" ask Kiran.

Sean hooked his fingers, he felt very nervous. "I don't seem to find happiness in my life, every day all I do is hurt people with my rude words," sean said he then turned his head towards Kiran trying to record a trace of the expression Kiran showed after hearing what she had just said.

"What does this have to do with me?" ask Kiran. He really did not understand where this conversation was going. From earlier they chatted with the topic of discussion randomly. Moving around is like digging up information from each other.

"really? What about my personality? I think I hurt people a lot with this attitude of mine,"

"Yeah..." Kiran sighed, "it feels like I can't help talking about character and nature, just think about myself I'm sleepy!" kiran exclaimed and then moved from the sofa past Sean who was still sitting there.

Kiran's footsteps came to a halt as Sean pulled his arm, "thank you," Sean said.

Sean looked at Kiran, and really Kiran knew what Sean had just said was sincere. Kiran can tell from Sean's eyes. Although Kiran did not really understand about the conversation.

"Okay," Kiran nodded her head slowly. "If you need anything, just find me, try not to disturb my sleep" Kiran continued, then pulled her arm slowly from Sean's hand.

Sean smiled, "the girl," muttered Sean as he leaned his back against the back of the sofa.

Sean did not even know that Kiran was smiling as well. Kiran's heart was slightly knocked and her heart was pounding. It has been 6 years since she broke up with Rio and has not been in a relationship with any man. It feels like a mess.

Kiran thought her heart would never beat this fast again. But, since meeting with Sean pounding his heart like a runner who has run fast 100 meters. The leaflet was too strong and Kiran was worried now.

Sean was still watching the TV show while occasionally staring at the door of Kiran's tightly shut room. He asked himself. What exactly is he doing here? He felt like a fool and he felt even more stupid because he thought about his stupidity while laughing.

"Kiran," muttered Sean.
