Faiq was riding Yuno on a motorbike, they were wearing long white Koko clothes. The sky this afternoon is blue with a few clouds adorning it.
The wind did not feel cold, even the remaining warmth from the sunlight last afternoon was still felt. Yuno wrapped one of her hands tightly around Faiq's waist. The other hand holds a flower with water in a jar of used lebaran astors.
They kept quiet, no one started the conversation. In each one's mind. Enjoy the quiet afternoon.
The motor turns, goes into the cemetery. Actually Yuno was here. Every want ramadan and before Lebaran. Pray for a name engraved on a gravestone that he does not know who.
"Let's get down." Faiq get off the bike. Yuno.
They walked between the tombs, straight inward among the tombs of those who died 12 years ago.
Right in front of the tomb marked Archie they stopped. Yuno never thought that what she gave every wish to Lebaran was the tomb of the mother who had given birth to her.
"Don't cry, Archie's mom will be sad." Faiq rubbed the head of Yuno who was now wearing a white peci.
The boy was already grown, Faiq had not expected the time to go so fast. The small hand with her fabulous hair was now transformed into a teenage figure who had an adult attitude.
"What kind of a man's mother, Dad?" ask Yuno.
"He's a good mother who wishes you happiness."
Once again Yuno wiped her tears with the back of her hand. Unable to endure sadness. Yuno wanted to have a chance to get to know her mother.
"Let's read Yasin" said Faiq. He took the little yasin book out of his shirt pocket.
They offer Archie their best wishes, wishing that she knew that her son had grown up and loved her even though he had never met her.
There are three things that will not break even though we are dead, namely charity, useful knowledge and children of righteousness who pray. Faiq hoped that his upbringing towards Yuno would make the child a righteous child. I can pray for Archie.
The afternoon sky was getting darker, the wind was blowing through the leaves. There is no pride, pride or greed among those who are buried here. They could only sigh in hope that their children would send prayers.
Yuno and Faiq ended their prayers and poured flowers mixed with water, leaving the tomb area. Just a few steps they stopped. Staring at a man with a bouquet of flowers in hand. Wearing a neat black suit and handsome face. The man hurriedly turned away like he was evading.
They left it and headed for the bike. Back to go home. Yuno held onto Faiq's waist tightly, unable to hide her sadness.
"Would you buy some fried sausage?" ask Faiq.
Faiq knew very well his son was in need of comfort. It is not easy to accept a reality that has never been imagined before. No matter how hard the boy is. Faiq knew that he was just an ordinary child who could be sad.
Meanwhile at Archie's tomb, the flowers that Yuno spread were still wet. The arid soil is partly watery. Ren sat down beside her. Slowly put a bouquet of flowers on it.
"I'm visiting Sie, I've met our son. He's grown up well. Thank you for giving birth to that child. I owe you a lot."
The sun began to set, orange light shone on the clouds until the birds chirped back to the nest. Ren's still there. Look at the tomb after a trip away from Jakarta.
For the first time in 12 years he met Archie. The woman he loved lived the name. Can't answer anything he says.
"Sie, you always said that you loved me. I said I love you too. But it was a lie. I said that because I didn't want to make you sad.
"It seems like karma has already hit me, after you there is no my heart is completely empty. This time I'm telling the truth, I love you Sie."
The man looked down, tears dripping down the 12-year-old tomb. It's been consumed by time and time. He was late for a very long time until the grass thrived on top of his tomb.
Their children look healthy with the new family. He did not see the slightest growth. How did he walk, how did he grow teeth, what was he like when he heard his first words, how was his first day at school? Ren missed all that.
"You don't have to worry, Sie. From now on I'll take care of our son."
Ren moved, he walked away from the tomb. The leaves around were blown off by the wind. Azan magrib was clearly heard from there.
The tomb was now deserted, there were two flowers there for Archie. One of her children, the other from her husband. The hope of the two is the same, Archie is calm even in a different nature to them.
