Ghost Ship SS. Ourang Medan's

A Story of the Ghost Ship SS. Ourang Medan's

Man of Medan is a game based on the Dutch merchant ship SS. Ourang Medan in 1947. Because this merchant ship was declared sunk in the middle of the sea, leaving a million mysteries that until now are still in question.

Some say that this ship sank around the Strait of Malacca, but some say that he sank in the Marshall Islands in 1948.

Events Before the SS. Ourang Medan Drowned

Ss events. Ourang Medan began when there were two American ships sailing in the Strait of Malacca, namely the City of Baltimore and Silver Star ships. The two ships unexpectedly received an emergency radio message known as “SOS”. The message is divided into two parts and is separated by the morse code that cannot be interpreted.

The code came from the SS ship's communications operator. Ourang Medan contains a terrible report about the death of the captain of the ship and all the crew on board. More or less, this is how it is:

“All officers include captain are dead lying in chart-room and bridge. Possibly whole crew dead………………………….. I die...”.

“All workers including captain have died floating in the navigation and steering room. It is likely that all the crew also died........................... I died...”.

Hearing the harrowing message, the Silver Star ship was located closest to the SS. Ourang Field directly moved to the coordinates. When it was almost there, the crew from Silver Star immediately looked up from afar as they approached the SS ship. Ourang Medan's.

Arriving next to the location of the ship, the crew from Silver Star began to shout at the Ourang Medan ship which if seen visually like there was no sign of life. Seeing no response, the Silver Star crew attempted to establish radio contact - including the ship's horn. And, my dear, their efforts failed as well.

Finally, the last action was taken, which was to board the Ourang Medan.

Hoping for survivors, rescuers continued their search around the ship. Arriving at the boiler room, the Silver Star crew felt a chill that should not have happened because the temperature was at a point of 43 degrees Celsius.

Not finding any signs of life, the Silver Star crew tried to tow the Ourang Medan with a large mine while sailing back to the nearest port.

The Sinking of the SS. Ourang Medan's

Not yet sailed, it turns out strange events on the Ourang Medan ship again occurred. Suddenly there was a smoke that was greeted with fire in the cargo section of the ship.

The sudden incident sent rescue teams from the Silver Star ship running, including plunging into the sea to save themselves. Fortunately, the rope tied to the Ourang Medan ship was broken until the Silver Star ship along with its crew still had time to get away from the Ourang Medan ship and survived.

The instant the fire came out from the Ourang Medan, it turned out to be a very loud explosion and it happened right before the eyes of the Silver Star crew - followed by a huge fireball.

Along with the explosion, finally the Ourang Medan ship sank in the Strait of Malacca between the island of Sumatra and the Malaysian peninsula.

Considered Hoax Story

The sinking of the SS. Ourang Medan is actually still a mystery - even considered a hoax. This could happen because data on the sinking of the Ourang Medan ship does not exist in Lloyd's Shipping Register (an international shipping agency).

There is no record at all of when and where the SS ships were. Ourang Medan built. No wonder many consider that this story is just an urban legend that has not been proven true.
