Chapter 2

The Border

Then, he laughed out loud like a madman, “I hate you, Rumi! Hate it! Why should I leave Dad and Mom's house? Huh! Why don't you just stay with Uncle and get all the torture?”

Rumina was astonished, she could not believe their Uncle and Aunt were evil and torturous. Akila's their own niece. Moreover, the couple has not had children for a long time, his presence should be a gift and not a burden.

“That's where possible! All this time they've been nice to you if you guys come home?”

Akila did not answer his sister's questions; he laughed once in a while single-handedly laughing at his fate. Luckily he was loved by a man like Austin who was handsome and dignified. The only person he trusted as well as his pride. No woman can be near and love him either. Once a woman is caught smiling at her husband, that moment will also be an enemy forever.

While Rumina did not know what was considered funny, by her brother she laughed.

The old sedan car stopped at the border between the two cities, Mayore and Asradele and pulled over near the hill beside which was the great river, Malhy. The river is what characterizes the city border.

“Down!” akila said as she removed her seatbelt.

Rumina refused, she was reluctant to go down because the atmosphere of the border was quiet and it was getting dark. She was afraid that Akila had left her there alone. He rarely goes away from home because Mom and Dad are always worried. The farthest distance he ever traveled was downtown Mayore, there was a big mall and always a lot of discounts. Not far from there is his workplace — Robinson Botanica — he became a laboratory assistant Mark, an old man who has worked for eleven years.

“Subscribe!” akila's voice shocked her, “Or do you want me to crash this car on the hill so we both die together?”

“No!”

Death is not in his brain at this moment because tomorrow is Monday, it is a day that makes him more excited. At the end of each month, Alza Ayesar would come to check on everything related to his farm. Seeing Mr. Alza from far away was already a lot of fun. He likes it in silence. How not, he is a man of honor and neat, he knows for sure his wife at home has taken care of it very well. The parasite is much more attractive than Akila's husband. She would rather flirt with Alza if she had the chance than flirt with her sister's partner.

Alza is the owner of Robinson Botanica in Mayore and where Rumina works is the third branch. The factory is located in Jawarasen province. Much bigger and much more magnificent. Rumina wanted to have a chance to see their biggest factory. Every year there will be selected employees and have the opportunity to take training there. This year is his hope because he already has competence as a participant.

So, he must not die, face to face with Alza is his greatest wish.

“Alright, I'm down.” Rumina finally removed her seatbelt and got off lazily when the car door was already open.

The gentle breeze greeted as soon as he stepped on the ground, his shoulder-length hair fluttering and disheveled. It looked as though dust was billowing faintly like a shadow of smoke.

Akila pulled Rumina away until they stood near the roadblock and the Malhy river. The skinny white-clad girl shuddered as she looked down. His long eye book blinked several times holding back the tears that were barely coming out.

“Are you afraid of death?” said Akila. Rumina was silent, she ventured to see her brother's face dressed in thick makeup, right in her eyeballs.

“Say you're scared!” Akila said again while sneering. Both of his hands were placed on his stomach.

There was a loud scream from a young woman. His voice was so heartbreaking as if his life was in danger. Meanwhile, the wind again blew in rhythm with the sun that began to enter the gap of the dispute.

“Look at the sky, just like that even though dusk is sometimes beautiful and sometimes gloomy, but the sky never changes, it accepts twilight as it is!” Rumina said while smiling sweetly at Akila, hoping that her brother would give her affection.

“Omong empty!”

“Let me live! Please, Brother! Tell me what you want, as long as you don't kill me!”

$$$$$$$$$$

Rumina entered a hotel room that night with tears on her cheeks. No, it was not her brother who brought her to that place, but a womanly man who walked and spoke like a woman. He picked up Rumina, dressed her and told her to go into the room where she was.

Chequek!

The sound of the hotel room door being opened, Rumina turned her head and her eyes immediately widened perfectly.

“Mr Alza?” she was strangled, and she shut her slightly open mouth.

“Do you know me?” alza said while furrowing his brows. If the woman knew him, then it would be dangerous. He is famous for his good reputation and does not like to mess with women. However, today was different, he was half dead. Moreover, he had to face a visit that he did not like tomorrow.

“Yes! Sure, it's truly an honor for me to meet you!”

Rumina spoke fluently, well-ordered because she used to use formal language with Professor Ryco.

“Who are you?”

“I Rumina Ayes, introduce!” Rumina reached out her hand, “I'm one of your employees at Robinson Botanica!”

Alza ignored Rumina's outstretched hand until the girl pulled her back. He's disappointed for sure.

“What?” Alza thought badly about the company's performance in the third branch.

Turning employees into night workers and flirting with striped men is not an exemplary act. In addition, saying that meeting them was an honor was a big mistake. How is it possible to meet people of different types and not have a relationship is an honor?

The action is then continued by having sexual intercourse that has no ties and is only done for the sake of mere satisfaction. This is a shame and should be prevented.

“I don't want my employees to be night women and serve striped men!” alza.

“What do you mean? Who is the woman of the night?” ask Rumina.

“You!” alza answered firmly.

Rumina then fell silent, but later confirmed that she was not a woman of the night. Even so, he did not mind if he had to become a woman of the night just for the sake of Alza. However, he was very concerned about his family and felt that this was not true.

Alza then sat down on a sofa and Rumina sat facing him. Just then, Alza looked at Rumina's face and felt shocked. He realized that Rumina was the woman he had seen at the border of the city.

Alza was very surprised and asked, “Are you not at the border?”
