The Kitchen That Never Touched

Rey decides to send a message to Alza, informing her that Rumina is sleeping in her room.

The message was read, but not answered. Indicates that Alza has not slept and does not dispute his actions.

The next day in the morning blind, time still showed Rey and Alza not yet awake at 06:00. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to the two, Rumina goes outside the apartment. He was hungry and wanted to cook something. No restaurant is open that early.

The apartment environment close to the office, is like its own environment. In fact, he memorized a place that sells some kitchen items and groceries. He chose some vegetables, fish and fresh fruit that was there.

“Rumi, are you shopping so early? Is there a problem with your Mom and Dad?” ask the vegetable seller who is his subscription. That's where he was shopping after work to take home and cook the next day.

“Nothing, Uncle! They're doing fine! Do you remember what day it is? I'll make the snack as usual!”

The old man patted his head. She memorized Rumina's habit of making snacks for her co-workers every Monday, as an expression of gratitude, because she was born that day.

“Then, are you going to cook it in the office?”

Romina thought for a moment then nodded and replied, “ Ah, yes!” smiling nervously he did not want to be caught lying if he was going to cook in the Boss' apartment.

“Well, this is for you! No need to pay, it's free!” said the shopkeeper gave a fresh cabbage weighing one kilo gram to the girl.

The girl smiled widely, “I'll make a cabbage capcay with this, do you want Uncle?” said.

“Not bother!”

After finishing and paying for some of her groceries, Rumina returned to the apartment. He began cooking, after cleaning some kitchen furniture that was quite unused. The rest of the room in the apartment was clean.

He does everything with pleasure and, humming. Although, he does not know what Alza or Rey likes, but he still makes snacks and breakfast as he usually makes for friends at the office. All this time they never protested but instead praised the cuisine.

Rumina slices finely all ingredients like cabbage, carrots, mushrooms. Then, sauteed with sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil and on black. Not to forget he mixed with peas as a complement.it was a special capcay made.

There is also processed kite with yellow seasoning, white rice cooked with onions and salt. He also made a snack from fried dumpling skin and filled with leftover vegetable ingredients. To make it more delicious all the remaining vegetables were mixed with chicken milk. Another food supplement that is soenynya is an omelette with spinach leaf contents. He also brewed boiled corn in round slices. He arranged neatly on the table.

Alza woke up at eight, immediately smelling the appetizing smell of food, but ignored it because he thought the next-door neighbor was cooking.

He used to do an examination around ten. So, he will just leave for the office after finishing breakfast at the restaurant he subscribed to.

He took a shower and changed his clothes. Once tidy, he exited the room before nine or exactly around 08.45 am. Not to forget he wore other branded watches available in the apartment.

“Good morning, Mister!” Rey greeted him with a slightly strange smile, the man sitting in front of the dining table with an empty plate in front of him.

He felt surprised when he woke up earlier, slowly he heard the sound of someone busy in the kitchen. He had to get up to see who was there. Then, he saw everything Rumina did in the kitchen that she never touched every time she visited.

But he still pretended to be asleep until Rumina finally went into the room. And, when the girl came out, she was well dressed for going to work.

Once knowing Rey had woken up Rumina said sweet things and told her the reason for cooking.

“Rey, I thank you for helping, also express my gratitude to Mr. Alza. I'm cooking breakfast for you two, I hope you like it. I'm sorry I don't know what your favorite is and sir! So, I just cooked my favorite food!” rumina said after she finished telling the story.

“You want to go to work?” ask Rey while fixing her sitting position.

“Tell him directly!”

“Alright! I go first!”

Alza furrowed her brows at the driver and the food on the table.

He also asked, “Tumben you cook?” He sat down in front of Rey, “You were so slow to eat without waiting for me?”

Rey showed me an empty plate sign she hadn't eaten.

“That girl cooked for us, sir! Not me!"

Rey then told him that Rumina had bought some groceries in the store around the apartment and cooked for them as gratitude. Especially if he managed to see the face of Alza every Monday at the end of the month. He would return to cooking the next day.

The girl was familiar with the office environment, so she could prepare all her dishes. It's simple, but it looks good. Alza saw it all.

Alza filled the empty plate that Rumina had prepared with some food, then tasted a little.

“This is not bad!” Alza muttered while hearing Rey's story.

Rey also eats after Alza, she also feels a match to his taste.

While conversing, they finished the meal without waste.

“What Master will let the girl stay here?” Rey asked while rubbing her mouth with a tissue. It's already finished.

Alza shrugged her shoulders in ignorance.

When he woke up he did not remember that there was a girl who lived in the apartment that night. The smell of the food came from the kitchen.

“You know, what's his name?” tanya Alza after sipping mineral water that has also been prepared by Rumina, “She once said, but I think it does not matter!”

“Oh, I also forgot not to ask!”

Alza looks upset.

“In the meantime, I'll ask Mark!” said Rey, while sending a message to one of the company's important employees.

After a while.

“Name Rumina Ayes, Sir!”

“Enter him to the list!”

“Indeed he entered as a participant, Mister!”

Alza nodded, their last names slightly similar.
