"Malli?" Rey muttered to read the name of the sender of the message. Rey reads the message Malik sent to her and breathes a rough breath in the air. He put his cell phone back on the table and dropped it on the bed. His gaze was now fixed on the ceiling of the room while thinking about the incident that happened a few hours ago. There was not the slightest expression on Rey's face as she recalled her impromptu marriage to Yura. The man's face was still flat and hard to read.
While inside Yura's room, the woman was now seen covering her face with both palms. I don't know what will happen in her life in the future after she officially became Rey's wife. She does not expect her job journey and Rey will be the beginning of a new relationship in their lives. A relationship he never imagined again after deciding to forget Rey in his life.
"Lord...why is it that when I try so hard to forget it and have removed its shadow from my mind, you bring it closer to my life?" Yura Mumbled.
Three days later, Yura and Rey say goodbye to the village device to return to the city because their work has been completed and will return to the village with an indefinite time.
Rey's car drove away from village A accompanied by a wave of the hands of residents and village devices. On the way back to the city, Yura seemed to be silent while thinking about what had happened the past three days.
Too many things make him feel strange with the attitude of the villagers who are more friendly to him when they already know what happened to him and Rey some time ago. The villagers behaved as if nothing had happened between them. Things Yura never expected before considering their mistake were quite fatal if justified by the villagers.
Unlike Yura who keeps thinking about the villagers, Rey seems calm without any burden of mind in her life. The man's face was still flat and cold without the slightest change after changing into Yura's husband status.
Lately Yura thought why Rey did not mind their marriage considering all this time Rey always showed dislike to him. It should be that the man showing her disbelief might even intend to divorce her.
Yura chooses not to ask Rey why Rey seems not to mind their current status because she wants to keep her heart from getting hurt after getting an answer from Rey who could have hurt her.
"When I get to town I'll take you to meet your family and my family." Rey broke the silence between them.
"I mean Brother?" Yura did not understand Rey's words.
"I've sent Aidan a message to gather our families after we get to town." Rey replied without looking at Yura.
"What's? Don't tell me you want—" Yura's words were interrupted because Rey cut her off.
Yura shook her head. "No, no. I don't agree! Father and Mother will surely be very surprised to hear this news." Yura.
"I'm not asking for your opinion. Agree or not, I'm still going to see both of our families today." Rey said without a word.
Yura was made speechless with fingers interlocked. He could not imagine how shocked his family would be to learn of his current status. Moreover, their marriage was based on coercion because of an unexpected incident before.
Yura goes through the rest of the way to town thinking about what to say to her family after Rey reveals her current status. Remembering both her parents and Rey's parents, Yura made her remember the figure of the woman who will be betrothed to Rey.
"What about Flower if he finds out that Rey's sister is married to me?" Yura muttered softly. Yura shook her head as the shadow of Flower smashing into her suddenly flashed across her mind.
"She definitely wouldn't accept if Rey suddenly became my husband." Yura muttered then remembered Flower who was very visible to put feelings on Rey and especially her parents had betrothed her and Rey since she was still in the womb.
Besides Flower, Yura also thought about the reaction of her best friend who was none other than Rachel if she knew if she had changed status to be the wife of her brother.
