Sian walked out of the operating room with a limped step. Slowly her tears rolled down her cheeks. Regrets and guilt re-engaged Sian. It has been the last time Sian lost someone's life during an operation. Whenever a patient dies in surgery, it always makes Sian grieve.
Although he was used to experiencing situations like this, Sian was always sad and could not get used to him. She would cry alone in a closed and dark room without anyone knowing. After being satisfied crying Sian will act as if nothing happened. Even in the depths of his heart he was deeply saddened by the loss of life so precious to him as a doctor.
Death can't stop Sian just by doing surgery. If the operation is successful, but if God wills another in a short time everything will happen. Just like today, Sian always remembered that he was not a god who could manage one's life and death. With that in mind, Sian always remembered fate while carrying out his duties as a doctor.
Early in the morning after calming down, Sian ventured to walk to daycare to see Raihan. When he got there Sian saw a big commotion and Raihan cried in the middle of the commotion.
Sian ran towards the commotion.
“What happened here?” Sian asked a nurse who was standing by to see the commotion.
“They are the ones who collect a debt to the mother of the crying child the doctor.”
Sian looked towards Raihan who was crying because of the attraction by those people.
“The one who owes them is his mother, but why even his son who became a tantrum?”
Sian looks very angry. Unknowingly Sian clasped his hands tightly together.
“They did not invite the child to the doctor, but they wanted to fight over the child for under-home, as a mediator of debt repayment.” Answer the nurse back.
“What can the 5-year-old do to pay off his mother's debts?”
“Say the child has intelligence equivalent to adults at his age, plus rumors spread if the child ever wanted to be recruited by a large company with fantastic pay. However, her mother declined the offer because her son was still too small to accept the offer. That's why those people want to fight for adoption rights over the child.”
Sian grew angry when he heard that the people wanted to take advantage of the debt in order to adopt Raihan for reasons that Sian could not accept.
Angrily Sian mediated the commotion.
“Stop!..” shouted Sian loudly.
Instantly the men stopped fighting over Raihan, and stared back at Sian. They seemed to dislike Sian's current presence.
“Who are you?” ask one of the debt collectors.
“I am a doctor here,” replied Sian who was still calm.
“Then what business do you stop us?”
“Are you aware of having made a fuss here?” ask Sian to those people.
“Have not cared about him, this boy should be us down now.”
“Cannot, we are entitled to bring this child.”
The men fought Raihan again by pulling Raihan as they pleased. While the nurse who was on Sian's duty to guard Raihan was very overwhelmed to face these people.
“Stop!!!” sian shouted back very loudly.
Hearing Sian yell back at them, one of the debt collectors approached Sian with great anger. The man pulled the white uniform monkey that Sian was wearing at the moment.
“Basic doctors don't know themselves!”
The man was about to hit Sian. However, he stopped cyan with his words.
“Hit only if you dare,”
“I'm not challenging you, but I warned if you hit me now, then I'll sue you for acts of violence.” Said Sian who made the man immediately let go of his chariot.
“And I will also sue all of you,” said Sian staring at the people.
“On what basis do you want to close us all? While we did nothing against you.” Say wrong of them.
“Vonice that he said.” Follow one of them too.
“Are you aware, by making a scene in this hospital you can be sued for disturbing the comfort of the patients here, as well as making a big loss to this hospital.” Sian said by showing the damage caused by them.
“Do you know, if you can all be sued for damages for this damage. And one more thing, I can also sue you for the torture of minors. Do you all want me to sue, indemnify and be held in jail?” sian asked with a landslide victory.
Hearing Sian's words made the people unable to wiggle anymore. What Sian said would really happen if they continued to make a fuss here.
“Keep, if not this child who paid his mother's debt who else?” ask one of the debt collectors.
What the person said made Sian take out his business card and give it to the group of collectors.
“You can send your account number as well as a certificate of how much Raihan's mother owes you on this number. Later I will transfer your money, and before that you leave here now.” Pinta Sian firmly.
After listening to Sian's words, the group of people took the business card that Sian gave them, and then they left the hospital as soon as possible.
After it is safe. Sian approached Raihan with a crouch.
“Is Raihan okay?” ask Sian gently.

“Tante, where's mama?” ask Raihan.
Sian silenced. Somehow she couldn't bear to say that her mother had left alone. However, Sian did not want to lie to Raihan at this moment. For the sake of Raihan Sian telling the truth what happened to his mother.
“Raihan listen to auntie, but before that Raihan promise not to cry.” Said Sian while inviting Raihan Pingki promise.
“Alright, Raihan promise not to cry.”
Then Raihan made a promise of Pingki with Sian. Then Sian told her the truth about her mother's death.
“Raihan forgive aunt, aunt can not save mama Raihan.” Said Sian who immediately hugged Raihan.
Like his promise Raihan did not cry in the slightest when he heard his mother's death. Unlike 5-year-olds in general, Raihan looks like an adult even though he is only 5 years old.
“I'm sorry aunt Raihan, really sorry aunt.” Said Sian repeatedly to Raihan.
Right now Raihan looked calm once, and he did not even cry in the slightest. He was the one who was comforting Sian at the moment, not Sian who had to comfort him.
