Chapter 64: The Power of Truth

Buddha is the greatest belief of some people in the Moon Land. He is described as a simple man full of compassion. As someone who freed himself from six emotions and seven desires, the monks had a fairly good temperament.

There are several Buddhas that the author refers to. Gautama Buddha, the first person to reach Buddha, or Kasyapa Buddha who has not yet attained enlightenment, all Buddhas have some similarities. They are free from worldly things.

But Buddha is still a human being. He cannot truly free himself from the six emotions and the seven desires, the worldly things. Avoiding is the best.

Straight sects were spread out of various sizes from small to large. The monks who spread kindness will be found easily in every temple.

The teachings of Buddha may be extraordinary. But compared to the lawless world here, the Buddhist rules would be like paper. Therefore monks need to learn martial arts. The most common is to use the power of faith to purify evil spirits such as hostesses at the end of the month, ehh...?!

Hell Bridge porters are a fairly well-known Buddhist sect. Being a large sect, the Temple of Hell Bridge was practically the greatest neutral power in the Shu Empire. This year, they sent a young monk to follow the Dragon and Fairy Stage.

The middle sects could send three to ten of their best candidates, in contrast to this Hell Bridge Temple. It is not because of anything, but it is difficult to take the path of the Buddha.

From childhood, monks will experience meditation training, sutra singing, and listening to lectures. These things keep them away from the six emotions and the seven desires, the mundane things. Resulting in the straight Qi of the power of faith made them a calm, generous, and sincerity-filled figure.

But perhaps the straight nature of the Buddha is not fully usable in this life. Just look at Wang Chong, whose face was already flushed red with anger. Wang Chong's opponent was Wu Tang, the sole representative of the Hell Bridge Temple.

Wu Tang has gray kasaya (monk robes), wooden sticks, and peach beads. His eyes continued to be closed as he grasped the staff with his left hand and formed a darma seal with his right hand.

Wang Chong himself was a representative of the Divine Spear Sect. He wore a silver battle suit that made him carry the aura of a war general.

Right now, Wang Chong was feeling extremely hot. Not because he was sweating inside the iron fist, but because of Wu Tang. Ever since the referee decided the match up to this point, he had not touched the end of Wu Tang's cloth. Especially since Wu Tang was constantly lecturing Wang Chong.

"...the human heart is unpredictable, only when it forms the heart of a Buddha..."

"...Brother, let us abandon all ambitions in our lives to become Buddhas..."

"...there is no sin that cannot be forgiven. As long as one wants to repent, the generous Buddha will give his grace..."

Over time, the spear in his hand shook. His gaze began to blur, and he could see a faint Buddha shadow looming over Wu Tang. But Wang Chong immediately dismissed this feeling. This is the power of a monk's lecture, absorbing the power of faith!

"Balding monk! You better purify someone's funeral than to attend this festival. Your talk makes me dizzy!"

"Good man, I am only doing the Buddha's duty to spread goodness. Purifying one's funeral is another form of kindness. Your hands are already stained by sin, with my help, you will be able to live a new life," Wu Tang replied indifferently.

"Fuck with sins! After reaching the peak of strength and power, look who dares to resist! The Buddha you were talking about was nonsense," without thinking about what he said, Wang Chong shouted at Wu Tang.

When he opened his eyes, the monk's face turned grim. "Buddha never says nonsense. There is always a second chance. Be generous, repent immediately before you receive divine punishment!"

"Come on! Defeat me and I will repent, hahahaha!"

Before Wang Chong finished his laughter, Wu Tang had attacked with a palm strike. The Swastika mark swirled on his forehead as a transparent Buddha figure appeared behind him. (Swastika is not a Nazi emblem well)

Right now, Wang Chong felt himself overwhelmed by an unforgivable sin. Even the Buddha chose to judge him. The loving Buddha face behind Wu Tang had been replaced with a sinister expressionless face.

"Buddha's wrath!"

What sins can make the Buddha so angry that he does not give a second chance? Even the Buddha was angry. The Buddha's embodiment behind Wu Tang was one of his great examples.

Before the palm managed to throw Wang Chong out of the arena, Wu Tang pulled him back. Even so, Wang Chong still fell down in fear.

"I-I'm giving up..."

After hearing Wang Chong admit defeat, Wu Tang again closed his eyes and restarted his lecture to resuscitate Wang Chong.
