Widow Kepentok Duda
Dinner's fucked up

At night. Sandra and Farzan are in the car with Chila to aunt Farzan's house to attend a family event that is done once a month.

Their car had entered the courtyard of aunt Farzan's house, they went down and walked into the house of the aunt. Farzan held Chila's hand, while Sandra held her hand in her husband's arm.

“You sure if it's okay?” ask Farzan.

Not without reason Farzan asked like that. She saw Sandra's pale face since returning home from work, even though she was wearing makeup and still looked pale.

“I'm fine, you don't worry,” Sandra replied with a smile on her lips. “Only stomach uncomfortable due to stomach acid,” he added.

Farzan finally no longer asked, believing that his wife was just plain sick.

When they got inside, everyone seemed to be there, including Anisa and Farzan's cousin Zayn.

“Chila.” Anisa immediately greeted Chila with great pleasure. The woman even immediately took a hand and gave a place for the granddaughter to meet the big one.

Farzan pulled a chair for Sandra, making her lips look cynical because they felt Farzan was too over-treating his wife. Though in the adab dinner together, it is mandatory if the man shows small attention by pulling a chair for his partner.

“Kok late, really busy, yes!” one of Farzan's aunts.

Anisa immediately glared at the welcome in the form of innuendo from her brother shown to the son-in-law.

“Obviously busy, he's the head designer at his company, of course he's a lot of work and trying to divide the time. He can come alone already grateful, so do not be psyched!” Anisa spoke bitterly because she was annoyed by her brother's welcome, just ten minutes late, but her brother had been squeaking like his son and daughter-in-law was late for hours.

Both corners of Sandra's lips were pulled upwards, creating a small arch on her lips when she heard Anisa defending herself.

“Busy work, later can not get anymore grandchildren, continue to be disappointed,” brother Anisa's lips with a soft voice and turned away.

Anisa glared, about to reply but the husband immediately clasped her palm, and signaled that Anisa was silent. Aaron knows, in every family meeting, there must be a pros and cons of a discussion, fearing that Sandra will be the talk.

“Already, don't discuss anything else first. We are here to gather and chat, don't quarrel. Better we start dinner,” said one of Anisa's sisters.

“Just ask him, why start the debate,” grumbled Anisa, then choose to start helping Chila to take food.

Everyone ate solemnly, until Sandra again felt her stomach ache when food entered the stomach.

“What's up?” farzan asked when he saw the wife holding her stomach.

“It looks like stomach acid is rising, I can't eat, it hurts when I swallow food,” Sandra said while holding the stomach. He spoke rather softly so that Farzan's aunts would not listen.

“Why? The food is bad? Or are you allergic to the same dishes I serve?” The woman's question rang out, making everyone stop eating and stare at Sandra as well as Farzan.

Farzan gasped at the aunt's words, while Sandra smiled awkwardly while holding the pain in the stomach.

“Sandra is sick, I hope Auntie doesn't talk carelessly,” Farzan said as she looked at her aunt.

“So fine, but why suddenly hurt? My food does carry disease!” sindir aunty Farzan spicy.

Farzan clenched his palms, furious that the aunt did not understand his wife's condition.

Anisa looked at Sandra who looked pale and uncomfortable, then turned to look at her brother who was struggling with Farzan.

“Sandra's face is pale, how can you say that he is fine!” Anisa spoke up.

“Just go on, he's your son-in-law! Do not let kayak first, defended and spoiled years disappointing make heartache!” sindir aunty Farzan. It seemed that the woman really disliked Sandra, so she continued to insinuate and attack with scathing words.

Other family members were confused, only this time dinner was a little chaotic because of the debate. Maybe because Sandra is a new member of the family that is not fully accepted. Not to mention because of Sandra's status which was considered unequal to their family descendants.

“It looks like we can't continue dinner, Sandra is too sick and I'll take her home.” Not wanting to argue with the old, and add to the burden of Sandra's mind, Farzan took his own decision.

Farzan stood up and asked Sandra to come along. Sandra was a little confused, why because she was all so messed up.

“You need rest, we better go home, do not let your stomach acid recur, just because thinking of innuendo that is not fundamental,” said Farzan with a little satire.

Sandra finally stood with her hand that had been held by Farzan, Chila who saw her parents were about to leave, then chose to get off the chair and approached Sandra and Farzan.

Farzan said goodbye to everyone, including his parents, then left the dining table and the house.

Anisa looks annoyed at her brother's disrespectful attitude as the host, then stands up and glances at the surprised Aaron.

“It seems, dinner this time is a little uncomfortable, I also want to go first,” said Anisa with a flat facial expression.

Anisa takes Aaron away from there. Zayn—cousin Farzan, looks uncomfortable with the situation, the young man also finally asked permission to make the mother surprised.

“All your faults are too pressing Farzan and his family!” One of Farzan's aunts blamed.

“Why? I'm just talking facts.”
