Sleeping Both

The night was getting late, Farzan actually slept on the sofa while Sandra was in bed. Sandra could not sleep because she felt a little anxious, this was the first time after a long time she was in a room with a man. He is used to being close to Gilang, but with Farzan it all feels different.

Sandra got up and sat down, then looked at the sofa where Farzan slept there. Seeing the movement repeatedly there, Sandra was sure that Farzan would not be able to sleep well.

Sandra got out of bed and took a blanket to give to Farzan. He walked slowly because he was afraid that his footsteps would disturb the man's sleep, until Sandra saw Farzan who was in an uncomfortable position. He covered Farzan from his legs to his stomach, then prepared to return to his bed.

However, when he was about to leave, his hands were held until Sandra turned her head and looked at Farzan who had opened her eyes.

“Can't sleep?” farzan asked because Sandra woke up and covered him.

“New to sleep,” replied Sandra.

“I can't sleep,” said Farzan before then pulling Sandra's hand.

Sandra was shocked to the point of sitting on the sofa, looking at Farzan who was lying down looking at her.

“Why can't sleep?” ask Sandra.

“Entah,” replied Farzan. “Can you sleep here only?” tanya Farzan later.

“Hah, what?”

Not yet Sandra responded, Farzan pulled the woman's body to lie beside her.

“Zan!” Sandra was very surprised by what the man did.

“It's better, I just want to sleep and won't do anything,” Farzan said as he closed his eyelids, with one hand on Sandra's waist.

Sandra placed both hands in front of her chest to give her and Farzan some distance. He looked at the man's face, seeing that Farzan had closed his eyes. Maybe he could go after Farzan had really gone to sleep.

Farzan was opening a bandage in his hand, this morning taking a bath but the bandage was exposed to water.

“Let me help,” said Sandra who saw Farzan busy opening the bandage, while she was in the room.

“Why not ask for help?” asked Sandra who was already sitting in front of Farzan, taking over the bandage that was being opened.

“You are busy helping Bi Sum make breakfast, how can I interrupt,” replied Farzan.

Sandra glanced at Farzan at a glance, then returned focus to the injured man's hand. Sandra cleans the inner side of the bandage so that it does not get dirty, before then re-wrapping it with sterile gauze.

“Shouldn't get water, why wet instead?” sandra asked as she wrapped the gauze around Farzan's palm.

“Inadvertently splashed by water,” replied Farzan while looking at Sandra without blinking.

Last night he remembered sleeping on a sofa with Sandra, when he woke up he still saw the woman sleeping with him, could see how Sandra's pillow face and felt a soft breath and so calm his lover.

“Already, next time be careful, later the wound is not dry-dry,” said Sandra after finishing covering Farzan's palm with gauze.

“Thank you,” replied Farzan while observing his palm.

Sandra packed the remaining gauze into the medicine box, then turned to look at Farzan who was sitting next to her.

“Chila asked if you could come see it,” Sandra said.

This morning Chila sent a message about what time Sandra would stop by before work, and asked if Farzan would come too.

“Sure, why not?” Farzan certainly wouldn't mind meeting Chila.

Sandra seemed to think of something, then looked at Farzan and was ready to say what was on his mind.

“Perhaps if you come and see Chila, it will make Mr. Gilang wonder. I just want you to be normal with him, although maybe he will be impressed so probing against you. Mr. Gilang only worries about me and Chila, he does not easily trust anyone, especially people close to me. You will not be angry ‘kan if you meet later and find Mr Gilang who might be impressed not to like you?” sandra asked worriedly, it was better to tell Farzan first, so as not to be shocked if Gilang suddenly did not like the man.

“Let's just relax, haven't you ever told me about what Mr. Gilang is like. I can definitely deal with it. Besides he doesn't know about our relationship yet, ‘kan?” ask Farzan back.

“So please, I haven't spoken honestly to him,” Sandra replied.

Sandra herself was not sure if Gilang did not know yet. Although he has not told me, but Sandra is sure if Gilang will definitely not stay silent. The man must have found out about Farzan being close to him. However, Sandra herself believes, if Gilang must find out and be vigilant also for the sake of her safety, and believes that the man can certainly judge what is good and bad.
