Farzan and Gilang waited in front of the operating room. He has not contacted Anisa and Aaron because he does not want to make them anxious. He sat down while staring at the big door where the wife was inside struggling to give birth to their baby. Although giving birth by surgery, it still makes Farzan not calm. Gilang himself could only help prayer, occasionally patting Farzan on the shoulder as if he was channeling strength and patience to the man.
After an hour, the nurse came out of the operating room. Farzan and Gilang immediately stood up and approached the nurse.
“How, Sus?” farzan asked with panicked and anxious face water.
“Operation goes well, baby boy is healthy. His mother was good even though her blood pressure was still not normal.”
Farzan immediately rubbed his face with both palms as gratitude for everything going well. Gilang looks so relieved and happy, patted Farzan's shoulder several times.
“Thank you Lord.” There was a clear look of happiness and relief on the man's face.
“We will move her mother to the hospital room, while the baby will be observed first,” said the nurse again then back in.
There is nothing happier than today. Farzan thousands give thanks for God's matchless gift.
Sandra was eventually moved in the inpatient room, she was not drugged completely so she could still smile when she saw her husband who was so worried about her.
“Thank you for bringing Sandra to the hospital,” said Farzan because he had not had time to say it because of panic.
“Sama-sama, however Sandra is also my responsibility. If you are not there, then I will take care of him,” reply Gilang with a smile.
Farzan nodded in understanding, before then focusing on Sandra who was still lying weak.
“Where is our baby?” sandra asked in a still weak voice.
“Sedang observed because born in action,” replied Farzan. He rubbed Sandra's forehead, before then landing a kiss on her forehead.
Sandra nodded, feeling so tired from having a tremendous contraction and having to end up in the operating room.
Anisa was at home as usual. The woman was looking at the baby clothes she had just bought for her future grandchildren.
“Sandra would have liked,” muttered Anisa with a smile on her face.
As she folded the clothes, her phone rang and Farzan's name was on the screen. Anisa hastily answered the call.
“Halo, Zan.”
“Ma, can Mama pick up Chila?” ask Farzan from a call.
“Certainly can,” Anisa replied casually. “What's the problem?” anisa asked because it felt strange Farzan asked so.
“No problem, Ma,” replied Farzan, “just this morning Sandra gave birth and I was waiting for her in the hospital,”.
“What?” Anisa was surprised because she was so happy. He stood up and misbehaved.
“Is Sandra okay? Is the baby okay?” asked Anisa who could not hide her happiness.
“Both good and healthy, Ma. Sandra is already in the hospital room, while our baby is still in the nursery,” Farzan replied from across the call.
Anisa was really happy, even her eyeballs were now glazed and the eye pellets were full of clear crystal circles that were damming up there.
“Mama will be there after picking up Chila. My God, Mama did not expect that she would have grandchildren.” Anisa's voice trembled, seemingly too happy and now holding back the cry.
At the hospital, Farzan smiles at the sound of Anisa being held back from wanting to cry. She ended the call then turned to Sandra who was still resting after giving birth.
“You did bring happiness, San.”
