Wife Bet
Chapters. 81

The goddess asked Adrian to sleep in her room. At first, the boy refused. However, the Goddess gave him understanding if the papa had woken up and would soon be healthy. Adrian cried to see the body of the papa looks weak.

"Kasian papa is sick, Ma. let Adrian accompany him," whined Adrian.

"Darling ... Adrian also needs to rest. Already from earlier Adrian keep papa," persuaded Dewi patiently.

"But papa promised never to get angry papa again, " said Adrian with a stern look. Typical of a child who protects his valuables.

"Why do you say that, son?" Andre could not help himself by just looking at the conversation of the mother and child. He asked in a weak voice.

"Yes, Pa. From yesterday Mama cuekin Papa. Until papa gets sick like this. Adrian sad...." Adrian looked down deep. His eyes are glassy.

The two looked at each other confused. The body of the Goddess stiffened, not expecting if her attitude these few days did not escape the attention of the child.

The goddess forgets that children are good observers. All this time, Adrian just didn't say anything. However, that does not mean that children as small as Adrian do not understand what adults do. It's just that his innocent mind has not been able to translate the complex problems that occur in adults.

Andre sat down. The goddess who knew the movement instantly helped him.

Andre smiled sincerely at Adrian who was still showing a gloomy face. Both of the boy's eyes looked glassy. It is seen that Adrian refrained from crying again in front of his parents.

Andre shifted his seat then patted the empty space beside him. "Here," he said in a weak voice. "sitting next to Papa," he continued with a smile on his lips.

Adrian looked up, gawked for a moment and then turned to the mother to ask for approval. After getting a nod from the woman who had given birth to him, Adrian went up and sat beside the father.

"Papa's son is getting bigger and smarter." Adrian stroked Adrian's head, scooped it up and leaned the small head in an embrace.

Andre always felt that his son was still a baby and did not understand anything. Apparently he was wrong. Adrian grew up quickly, inherited the intelligence of his grandfather, became a good observer like himself and had the gentleness of heart like his mother.

Andre felt that if from now on, he had to be careful in acting. Because Adrian will just understand what is happening in the surrounding environment.

"Mama doesn't get angry papa is weird, really." Andre glanced towards the Goddess who was staring at them in silence. A look of sadness appeared on the face of the woman he loved. However, this sadness is of course different from grief due to grief. It's the kind of sadness that is filled with regret. Andre knows that. He understood that the Goddess regretted ignoring him for days.

"But ... Mama's mad at seeing papa whose work doesn't know the time." Andre paused his sentence then smiled gently at Adrian. "Inget is not when Mama is angry if you play it does not know the time. Or when you ignore the words of Mama who told you to eat immediately?" Adrian nodded. Andre smiled and continued his sentence. "Well, so does the working father who does not know the time and neglects eating hours. Mama's gonna be mad ...."

"Really, Ma?" adrian asked with a plain face to his mother.

Goddesses silent. Confused what to answer. In fact, he ignored Andre who asked for food.

"I'm sorry Mama" said the Goddess with a downcast face. His hands deftly wiped away his tears which again dripped down his cheeks.

"Why are you sorry? Adrian apologizes to Mama.okay deh, Adrian will sleep now. " AdriN rose to her feet, approached the Goddess and kissed the woman's cheek. Then his gaze turned to face Andre. "Tomorrow, we play yes, Pa," he said.

"Ready, Boss!" exclaim Andre then tos with Adrian.

Adrian waved his hand, then walked quickly to his own room.

After Adrian's departure, a sophisticated feeling enveloped Andre and Dewi. To be honest, Andre felt hungry, but was reluctant to tell the Goddess.

Thankfully, five minutes later the waiter came to bring Andre dinner with porridge.

"But you haven't eaten. I'd better eat myself, Goddess." Andre's words just now were interpreted as a rejection from the man.

The goddess put the spoon hanging in the air back into the bowl.

"I'm really sorry for my disrespectful attitude towards you, brother. I shouldn't have ignored my husband for days. Even until my brother is sick like this. I'm sorry." It seemed, the Goddess's tear stock was very much. All day, he kept crying.

"I've forgiven you" replies Andre. He took the Goddess' hand to hold it. "I'm sorry if what I said just offended you."

Dewi looked up, returned Andre's glare then shook his head slowly.

"I didn't mean to refuse your bribe. It's just that I'm worried that my wife hasn't eaten and is thinking about me" Andre continued.

The goddess smiled faintly with blushing cheeks. The two looked at each other and spoke a smile.

"Hmm, how about .. one mouthful for me and one mouthful for you. We're both gonna spend that bowl of porridge together ...."

"Ta-"

"It feels, my stomach also has not been able to spend that much porridge. Or ... later also less we can add to it again."

The goddess finally nodded obediently, then the first bribe was given to Andre and the second bribe he ate by himself. And so on, until the porridge in the bowl ran out. Then, both of them drink in one glass alternately.

After putting the tableware on the nightstand, Dewi took the medicine and helped Andre to drink it. After that, he helped Andre lie down and fix the man's blanket.

When the Goddess will deliver the tray to the kitchen. Andre called out to her, asking her to sleep by his side.

"I'll put this into the kitchen, brother. After that we sleep," said the goddess softly.

Amdre shook his head and kept asking the Goddess to immediately sleep beside him. Inevitably, the woman also thought.

Andre stretched out his hand so that the Goddess could enter into his arms.

Andre sharpened his eyes, inhaling the fragrance of the Goddess who had become his candlestick. How tormented he was these few days not being able to smell that scent.

"Oh yes. Tell me who called you that night."

The goddess looked up to return the gaze of Andre who was staring past at her. The gaze was so demanding as to ask for an answer to the question asked.

"When?" ask Goddess. He can't remember when to get the phone at night and from whom.

"That night. The night you ignored me" Andre explained.

"Oh, that's ... Bima the phone. He said he couldn't come for the act of right away so usually by phone."

Instantly, Andre's gaze turned dark.
