Wild Roses For Luqman

Wild Roses For Luqman
5. Because of the aroma of cooking

The rose put her little clothes into the closet. After that, he threw himself on the bed.

He looked at the ceiling of his room. His mind began to wander into his former life.

"Lord, may you make my way easy." he murmured, before he fell asleep.

Meanwhile, upstairs. Luqman just finished his bath. Although he was tired, he could not close his eyes.

Finally the man tried to open an online shopping app. He wanted to buy some clothes for the rose.

As he was busy scrolling his phone screen, there was a knock on the door. The man got up from his sleep, and walked to open the door for his mother.

"Mom come in?"

"Sure, please ma." Luqman rewinded his body, so that his mother could enter.

He followed his mother and sat on the bedside.

"What's up, ma?"

"Please tell my mom the origin of the girl."

Luqman let out a long sigh, then began to tell the origin of his encounter with the Roses, without a single shred of it being covered.

Mama Firda let out a long sigh, after hearing the explanation of her only son.

"Hopefully here, he can change for the better. As his wish."

"Aamiin yes rabbal alamin. We must support people who are intent on change, ma."

"Hem, that's exactly what you said. Well then, you want to find a few pieces of clothing that can be worn by Roses."

"Luqman doesn't feel like much, ma. Remembering her clothes just like that. This Luqman also wants to order clothes for him, which are comfortable to wear everyday activities."

"Yes, you are a good boy. Like your late father." mama Firda rubbed her child's cheek gently.

"Didn't the fruit fall not far from the tree. So what Luqman did this, could be because of the kindness that mom and dad did all this time."

"Aamiinu. Mama's out first yeah, you rest first."

Mama Firda got up from her seat, and walked out. Not to forget he also closed the door, so that his son could rest soundly.

Although his body felt very tired, Luqman did not immediately sleep. He again busied himself by looking for clothes that were suitable for wearing by the Rose.

After getting what suits his wishes, then Luqman can take a good nap.

Meanwhile, Mama Firda looked for some pieces of clothes that she was not wearing, but still good condition, in her wardrobe.

After getting what he was looking for, Mama Firda brought him down. He put some of the clothes on the table, which was close to the Rose's room.

He immediately told the Rose to work. As in the afternoon, he cooked some food, for his dinner later.

"Hem, that's delicious. What's this smell?" murmured the rose, with eyes still closed, but her nose is deflated.

"Ah, the worms in my stomach are getting thrashed. Looks like I'll have to eat that food soon."

Roses continued to rumble, until he rolled around, and finally fell out of bed.

"Arghhh.... It hurts."

The rose groaned, and rubbed his elbows and head in turn.

However, his moans came to a halt as his sense of smell refocused on the aroma of the cuisine pouring out, until it pierced through the walls of his room.

"I don't think I was dreaming. Someone must be cooking. Look at me ah."

The rose got up from her seat, then walked out. It looks like his master is stirring something on the stove.

"Hem, it smells good, Tan. Cook what the hell?" The rose saw something stirred by her mother Luqman.

"You're awake? This Aunt is cooking chicken tongseng." mama Firda turned for a moment towards the Rose, who nodded her head.

"It's late afternoon, you take a shower first. It's on the table, Auntie has prepared some pieces of clothes that you can wear."

The rose turned to follow the direction of Mama Firda's index finger. Then the girl approached the pile of clothes.

As he approached the shirt, he saw a piece of paper on it. However, because he never stepped in school, he had enough difficulty reading his writing.

"Tante, is this a list of the jobs I have to do while I'm here?" ask the rose, while thrusting the piece of paper.

"Yes, you understand, right?"

"I understand that this is a beautiful piece of writing. But unfortunately I can't read, because I never stepped on the school" said Rose with his own face.

Mama Firda was very concerned to hear the narration of the Rose who had never once dabbled in education.

"It's okay, Auntie will explain. Now you take a shower, let the body fresh. Then join the Maghrib prayer congregation." mama Firda holding the Rose shoulder while smiling.

"I can't pray either, Tan."

"Later, we'll help you."

"Thank you, Auntie. You and Luqman are very kind. Like an angel."

"No need to say thank you. It is our duty to pray for each other." mama Firda smiled softly, which made the Rose's heart feel so comfortable.
