A Birth

One dark night, as the rain danced on the precarious and chanted the song of destruction, Bima Wira Wijaya was born. However, the light of hope that was supposed to shine on her birth was split apart by darkness. The struggling mother gave him her first breath. In her father's wake, she grows up with a story about a mother who gave her life to defend her life.

Four years passed, the rain still often danced, and Bima began to understand the meaning of loss. His father, a policeman who always promised him safety, went on a task he could never tell him about at last. He left only a hazy memory of the brave man's face, whose face could no longer be seen by the boy's eyes.

Steps at Orphanage

From the dim lighting of a lamp, Bima rose every morning. The shabby clothes he wore were unable to hide the increasingly pervasive courage within him. His life in an orphanage is proof of the persistence of humans to stay strong in harsh conditions.

Bima tidied her clothes and breathed. He passed through the silent passageways, fumbling for an atmosphere that seemed to reflect his never-light life. The parlour room, with its walls slightly faded and the floor dull, was his home that was never comfortable. However, in its simplicity, it learns about important values such as hard work, patience, and solidarity.

"Let's get a neat line!," cried a nurse who stood guard that day. The children were lined up to get a decent meal.

Every step Bima took contained a trace of sadness that washed her away in memories she could never forget. While sleeping, she is often awake by dreams that turn into memories, of her mother she never knew and her father who just vanished. Those moments were like haunting ghosts, possessing his mind and heart.

"Bim, you're so good now! Sorry Bim, I can't help you" said his mother, holding him in the shadow of her dream.

"Bim, you're a strong boy, you have to be a good person huh!", his father's message in his dream. All those dreams felt very vivid to him, and Bima believed that the dream was real. Although only limited to dreams but Bima really misses the figure of his mother and father. After the death of his father Bima always keep their relics, a shabby old box containing memories that are very valuable to him.

Dion

But between his sweat and his childhood tears, Bima grows up and finds a true friend in High School. Dion Putratama, a young man of Chinese descent, his hair was short black, bespectacled, genius and had a friendly smile, always carrying a small laptop by his side. Bima was amazed by Dion's ability in the field of IT that he had never known before. "Hey, Bim! Look, I just created a program that can draw any picture with just words!" Dion explained while showing his laptop to Bima. Dion was known as a genius at school. He is always quick to learn and always gets the highest marks. Dion was Bima's closest friend.

Their initial meeting was not good. Because Dion is a transfer student from another High School, Dion gets bullied from his classmates at the beginning of school.

"Eh there's a new boy, it could be for money!", snapped Faris the bully while pulling Dion's uniform shirt up. While Bima immediately came and beat Faris with a hard blow until Faris was unconscious. The incident led to the call of Bima to the headmaster.

Bima came to the principal's office, sitting in front of the desk with her head down. "Sorry sir, Bima just nolongin Dion" said Bima.

"So Gini Bim, I have repeatedly ngingetin you to not fight again. It's been ten times you fought, and all your opponents you knocked unconscious. I can't help you anymore, Bim, if Faris' parents come and ask for school, you have to get out of this school" said Mr. Tio, the principal.

While running, the shoes hurriedly came from the outside, and Dion suddenly appeared to open the door of the room. "Sorry sir, Dion was wrong. Please don't get Bima out of this school, she helped me. I should have been the one to defend myself. Once again sorry sir, I beg you not to take out Bima Pak", said Dion in front of Mr. Tio and Bima while looking down.

"Dion, you're a new student, right? What did you say earlier? You are not threatened with Bima?", asked Mr. Tio.

"OK, if the case is like this you believe. Bima you did not become the father, but if Faris' parents demand this school, Dion, I ask for help you must want to testify", replied Mr. Tio again.

"Ready Sir", replied Dion.

"Thank you Sir, Thank you Dion, you are being honest" Bima said with a smile. The brief meeting was very memorable for both of them. They become true friends.

Considered

And there was also Lestari Sarasvati, a long-haired straight, soft-faced girl with eyes that were always sparkling. He saw the world with high curiosity, and not infrequently, he asked Bima to read the books he brought from the library. "Bim, read this deh, I want to know your perspective on this book" he asked in a soft voice, pointing to the book titled "Unknown Artifacts" in his hand.

"Book on discovery again?", asked Bima.

"This is different from Bim, these artifacts have not been known where their origins, some even call these artifacts come from ancient civilizations with technology that is far more advanced than us."

"Hmm, interesting" Bima said as she opened a book full of images of ancient artifacts. But Bima was a little speechless to see one crystal stone artifact that had a symbol not foreign to him. This symbol is in a necklace of hereditary relics from his father. He always wears that necklace. "This symbol?! I think I've seen this symbol before" Bima said in a silent heart for a moment her hand grabbed her necklace and held it tightly in her grasp. Lestari further asked, "Woy Bim? Kok diem?", while patting Bima's shoulder.

Bima continued "Ehhh no, Okay Tar later I read the book", then he closed the book and brought it home.

Dragon

No less important is the figure of Dragon Mahesa Santiago, a boy with an eternal smile who always looks cheerful. Naga is the only child of successful businessman Franky Mahesa Santiago, a Santiago Industries company that has existed for generations since 100 years ago. Despite looking cheerful but Dragon harbors a lot of sadness, his parents are too busy to take care of his family business, and always demand the Dragon to obey every will of his parents. As the sole heir to the family business. Although Dragons are born to very wealthy families, Dragons always wear simple clothes whenever going out with their friends. His appearance does not reflect that he is the son of a successful businessman. The dragon is more mysterious than any other.

"Bim, tomorrow, so are we planning our walk? Dion Sama Lestari also come along", asked the Dragon

"Mmm, so really, but my pocket is empty" replied Bima.

"Relax, I am the one" replied the Dragon with a smile. He smiled and replied, "Thank you Ga".

However, behind all the smiles and laughter, the Milky Way and the Dragon had something in common. There were many sad moments that Bima and Dragon hid. They often can not hold back tears when they see other families who come to pick up children from school. They saw other children laughing cheerfully, embracing their mother and father. Bima and Dragon could only stand beside the window, watching with empty hearts.

Behind the cheery of his friends, among the smiles they brought, Bima and Dragon harbored a sadness that might never disappear, even though they never told anyone.

The friendship of Bima, Dion, Lestari and Dragon still continues even though they have become adults. After they graduated from High School, Dion, Lestari and Naga continued their studies while Bima worked in a coffee shop as a barista.
